Was looking for a salon closer to me since SLC is about a 30 minute drive from me and found this amazing place! I went here for the first time and desperately needed someone to fix the very choppy and block-y "face framing" front pieces of hair that someone had messed up previously, from a place in SLC. I called to see if I could do a walk-in and they accepted it. This is where I found Julia, who is so amazing! I expressed to her my concerns about the choppy/blunt look of my front pieces and how dry my hair was, and she really took the time listen and understand what I wanted and needed for my hair. She really made sure I got the haircut and treatment I needed and she even gave me tips and advice for my dry hair. She never pressured me to buy things or anything, rather she gave me options that I can work with at home, which I really appreciated. I could tell she was very knowledgable and experienced. Maia and Ellie were absolutely amazing! I had gone to another salon for lighter 'highlights' put in that ended up being a 1980's frosted look that I hated. My hair was dry and unmanageable but after I left here I felt amazing! Had eye lash extensions done and they only lasted a week. I normally go to Star Lash at Layton mall and get a fill every 2.5-3 weeks. Bombshell was closer and I took a chance, but I won't be returning. I do have to say that they were all very nice and the salon was very clean. I did call to say the fell out, but didn't offer a fill. read more

What a disaster. !!!!!! Went in for a haircut with Ashton she has been working as a stylist for two years. After cutting my hairs length She was uncertain about how to texturize my bangs so she asked her mom, Mia ,the owner , to do the bangs. Then Mia started lifting up my hair on the right side and just started snipping my hair!!! I asked her to stop3 times but she continued while looking me right in the eye as if a dare! I had all ready had my hair cut!!!!!! Careful about booking an appointment with these stylists.... I've heard mixed things about this studio and still decided to give it a try... that was a mistake. My hair turned out an disaster by the so called owner who did it. I tried to come back in to get it fixed but the other lady rescheduled a couple times so I gave up. Definitely did not have a good experience here. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. Last year, I decided to update my look and go from brunette to blond. I understood going into this, that it would be a several month process and be expensive. I scheduled with Cassidy. I went to Cassidy five times paying $250 each time. The first two times were a month a part and the cut and color were great. The third time the cut wasn't so great and I started to see damage to my hair which I understood to be expected. The fourth time, Cassidy once again pulled the bleach out to my ends and then left the bleach on my hair too long i.e, at least 30 minutes. I had breakage to my hair nearly to my scalp and my hair was extremely damaged. I was nearly sick to my stomach when I saw my hair fly up in a cloud when she did the style. I was instructed to wait two months before proceeding on the fifth time. On that occasion, it was obvious that Cassidy realized that she had ruined my hair. She was not chatty nor friendly. She again, pulled the bleach to my ends. She left it for a good 20 minutes. When she put the toner on she also left it on too long. It turned my hair a weird green grey. The hair cut was NOTHING like I had understood I would have. It was blunt without any feathering as she knew I preferred. I left really upset. I called the next day to ask what could be done about how awful my hair was. My hair was like green straw with a dumpy blunt cut without style. Cassidy's reply was: "I don't know what I would fix". Needless to say after $1250, eight months and with ruined hair I went somewhere else. I was told by my new hair dresser that it was obvious that Cassidy was not knowledgeable about color corrections and that she NEVER should have left the bleach on as long as she did and explained to me that she left the toner on too long for my hair to turn green. I have waited a year to write this review as I don't usually like to leave bad reviews. However, do to the amount of money I spent to have Cassidy ruin my hair without any apology or willingness to fix her horrible mistake, I feel I will be doing everyone a favor to suggest that this salon be avoided, especially Cassidy. They claim to have Salt Lake expertise and charge accordingly but it is obvious from my experience that they do not. read more

I have gone to this salon twice and first color and cut a huge mistake was made in the cut and I had a huge chunk missing. Second time around the stylist was a sweetheart but it took longer than expected and I had work so my hair was discolored and when I was coming back to have it finished I was told I would have to pay the hourly color correction fee when I had already spent $300 for orange hair. Not to mention the older woman who is the receptionist is the most condescending and unprofessional employee. This salon is NOT worth the money. read more

I've tried a lot of salons over the years until I finally found this place! It's my go-to forever, I don't care how long I have to drive in the future! The prices are sometimes higher than other salons but I feel like you're getting what you pay for and it's worth it. I also love that they have nights that they are open later so I can go after I get off work. The entire staff is so friendly and I love my girl Heather. She always talks me through what we're going to do ahead of time and sets realistic expectations based on what I am asking for at each appointment. She took me from a dark purple/red to blonde last year and kept me looking gorgeous in all the in-between stages. I loved going to this studio at first. If I could give them zero stars I would. I am a full time college student and work 40 hours a week and a few times had things come up for them when my eyelash appointment was. My school and education is a priority so I canceled both. I had finally found a time that worked for me and they would only let me reserve it if I put a card on file. I was okay with this because the lady on the phone had assured me I wouldn't be charged unless I was a no show. The morning after I woke up and looked at my account and saw that they had charged it and put my account into the negatives because I had just paid tuition dues and was waiting to be paid the next day. I demanded them an explanation and they made me feel awful and tried to put the blame on ME when they were the ones who charged my card without even providing services. They still haven't given me my money back. Any company who takes money that doesn't belong to them shouldn't be in business. My mom was paying for my eyelashes for my birthday, but since I had to put my card on file they overdrafted me and took money I needed for food and school. There are so many cheaper salons and more honest salons in the area. Don't give your business to them, and don't put your card on file. It just leads to them being slime balls who take money without providing services, and then not giving YOUR money back. read more
