This is usually a solid place-at least that's what I'm told by other regulars. But my visit felt…read morerushed and like the quality of my nails were not as I'd hoped. There were signs all over that said gel was $15 more, so I told them I just wanted regular polish. I didn't realize that meant I'd get such a poor product. After filling and filing, my technician didn't have me wash my hands, she just went right to painting them. Now I have little bumps all over my nails from the dust that got painted on. She was in a hurry to move on to the next client (or to her phone, from what I saw). I thought it would dry differently, but a few days later, it's pretty bad. I'm sure I could have said something, or pay more for the gel-which I'd recommend doing, but I misunderstood the pricing and thought it was a bit expensive. Now I see that it's worth the extra price.

My first experience with false lashes was at a high end spa in Park City, and they burned my eyes and were very insensitive. I thought I would never get them again after that, but after seeing everyone have them I really wanted them again! I told Racheal what had happened the first time I had them put on, and she assured me it would not happen at Lash Effect! She was right, perfect lashes, no pain for over a year now! When I came home I took out scissors and had to cut one side of her hair by more than an inch just to make it look a little more even. I have no idea how that happened. It was more than obvious crooked. When I looked straight at my daughter one side of her hair was almost 2" shorter than the other

I went here for the first time and desperately needed someone to fix the very choppy and block-y "face framing" front pieces of hair that someone had messed up previously, from a place in SLC. I called to see if I could do a walk-in and they accepted it. This is where I found Julia, who is so amazing! I expressed to her my concerns about the choppy/blunt look of my front pieces and how dry my hair was, and she really took the time listen and understand what I wanted and needed for my hair. She really made sure I got the haircut and treatment I needed and she even gave me tips and advice for my dry hair. She never pressured me to buy things or anything, rather she gave me options that I can work with at home, which I really appreciated. I could tell she was very knowledgable and experienced. I absolutely love how she saved my hair. I am so much happier now that my hair looks blended and layered properly! Thank you Julia! This will definitely be my go-to salon from now on.
