I just moved to pb and was super nervous to get my hair colored by a new stylist but now I'm hooked on Kelsie! She was super sweet, easy to talk to, fast but also very thorough. Not kidding when I say it's the best color I've ever had. She made me into a whole new woman! I haven't been blonde again in a lil she is just too good at highlights. She listens to what you're looking for, talks you through what she's going to do, and then makes miracles happen!! She's taken me bright blonde and more recently a dark brown I'm lovin. Several things stand out that I really feel are SO important-- First, she gets what you want & how you want it, done the first time. No 2,3,4 trips to get the blonde you want. Second, she's AVAILABLE AND FLEXIBLE. She always finds a way to get me in before a trip, event, holiday, etc. Third, she's consistent! Nothing worse than having the best color the first time-- and horrible cuts and color there after. Every time I've left feeling just as happy with my service as the time before. And lastly, she fairly priced. I know so many chicks who pay outrageous money to La Jolla salons, Del Mar, (you get the picture) and their hair looks terrible!! I never feel cheated. Stefania is the best! I have been going to her for years. I feel as though she really listens to my ideas And always suggest what is best for my hair. I have always felt comfortable going to her and I've always loved my hair every time! I really recommend this cute Salon as it has a great atmosphere. ALSO, I feel as though I can speak on their one bad review as I was there during and after that client left. Kelsie asked her client what haircut she wanted and was very thorough. Kelsie asked her multiple times if she was happy with her hair and the client responded happily. When you are getting your hair done it is not only the stylist job to communicate but also the CLIENTS job to be a good communicator. Kelsie asked all the right questions in my opinion and communicated thoroughly. It might be in bad taste to reply to another clients review, but I can't just sit and watch someone say false claims. ALSO, for the short time that the salon was open, I had multiple appointments and each time, Stef and Kelsie cleaned thoroughly and within guidelines between clients!

We all know getting blonde hair color right is tricky. In the past few years, I have had a few hard-working stylists that tried their best, but just couldn't get my hair the right shade. I'd leave the appointment thinking maybe what I was asking for was not possible. I think the photos can definitely speak for themselves but it I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Everything about this experience was amazing. I haven't had my hair done in over three years because I just hadn't found a place that I thought I could trust but then I met Kelsie! She was able to accomplish exactly what I wanted without me being able to even fully explain it! She's incredibly talented & also just such a cool person to talk to! I ended up having to reschedule my appointment because of Covid & she had no problem squeezing me in again even though I had to cancel the morning of. She recommended a range of products for me to use to help find something that fit into my budget. On top of everything, she was super speedy!!! KELSIE IS AMAZING!! I finally found my forever hair person. There is no one else I will ever let touch my hair again. My before and after speak for theirselves. Kelsie was so gentle on my hair and my hair felt even healthier after my color. I brought in clip in extensions and asked her to try to make my hair match them and not only did she match them she made my hair more beautiful than I could of imagined. A few years in now and I'm still going strong with Kelsie. She seriously does the best blonde. She takes her time, uses plenty of foils for coverage, and the color is unmatchable. Turns out she uses a special formula to get the blonde - no wonder! She's really the best and I love her new location. Very zen and relaxed. GO TO BOMBSHELL COLOR BAR! Wow, what a great Yelp find. I took a risk going to a new colorist and could not be more thrilled with the outcome. Kelsie's space was was clean, cute, comfortable and she was amazing to talk to during my appointment. Kelsie is something else... I went in with the understanding that I would need multiple sessions to achieve the results I wanted, which was totally fine as I was going from a deep copper red to a bright blonde. I left blonder than I think either of us expected and I couldn't be happier with my results after one session. she did an all over (and I mean ALLLLL over) highlight and really took her time to perfect it. another thing - she removed the foils and rinsed sections while she was still coloring other sections in order to avoid over-processing. this was KEY and made a huge difference. I expected at least a little bit of damage (blonde problems) but I swear my hair feels softer and healthier than when I arrived. I'm rambling but I seriously cannot say enough good things about her, she's the best! read more

I went to Kelsie to fix the red tones in my hair and to get a blonde balayage look and I could not be more happy with the results! Kelsie is an absolute pro and was not only able to fix the redness but she was able to brighten my hair an incredible amount in only one visit! The final look was super blended and exactly what I was looking for. Kelsie is incredibly sweet and is an absolute professional at what she does. When I went in she was so nice and friendly and we had a great conversation and she helped me play with ideas for my haircut as well as color options for when I come back! Uyen added extensions and created a gorgeous bronde color. Over the years we've tried different looks, from very blonde to closer to my natural dark blonde, and I loved it every time! What impressed me the most is how healthy my hair stayed the entire time. After wearing extensions for over two years, I took them out for a while and my natural hair actually looked about 30% thicker than before (The thickest it has ever been). I just got a new set of extensions again and absolutely love them. I went from short hair to almost waist length, and this time we did wavy extensions to match my natural texture. It came out beautifully - the color matches perfectly and it looks very natural, even when I let my hair air dry without styling. Uyen is incredibly attentive and works very meticulously. She really listens and takes the time to make everything blend perfectly. I had two recent appointments here and unfortunately had a very poor experience…read more I paid over $600 for lightening and vivid color services, expecting to work directly with the owner. However, significant portions of the service were performed by an assistant without my consent. The appointments were also heavily overbooked--I spent over 10 hours in the salon across two visits, much of that time waiting. More concerning was the outcome. My hair has sustained significant damage, including breakage in the front where an entire layer was overprocessed and broke off, requiring me to cut bangs to cover it. The overall condition of my hair is now extremely dry, brittle, and straw-like--the worst it has been in over 25 years of coloring my hair. There were also technical issues during the service. My color was rinsed prematurely, which removed pigment and required reapplication, leading to additional unnecessary processing. My eyebrows were also affected during the service and had to be corrected afterward at my own expense. I reached out directly to try to resolve this, but was only offered a partial refund that does not reflect the extent of the damage or the corrective work now required. He damaged my hair beyond repair and now refuses to even take accountability and refund me - so that I can attempt to begin the healing journey for my hair. When I attempted to resolve this directly, my concerns were dismissed and I was offered only a minimal partial refund that did not reflect the outcome. The tone of the response did not feel professional or solution-oriented. There is no amount of money that can reverse the damage to my hair, but a full refund would be a reasonable acknowledgment of the outcome and the cost now required to correct it.

When my nail technician completed my manicure, she announced, "same!" as if she declared out-loud my powdered pearlescent nails are now magically transformed into the requested nude chrome color. I wish they would've told me upfront that this cannot be done. I would not request for anything out of the basic mani pedi here.

Kelsie pays extra attention to detail and is a Perfectionist when it comes to her work . I started going to her after a bleach travesty at another salon!
