    Chicken Tikka Masala

I really wanted to like this place I gave it a chance and the name they called themselves a bar/lounge but they have no alcohol beverages but that's beside the point the food is bland for Indian food and super greasy. I feel really bad because I'm not used to bad Indian I didn't think there was one this bad. But the staff is very nice. By the way, did I mention that the small container of chicken tikka masala was over 20 bucks. If it was delicious, I would paid over $30 but it's beyond bad. I feel like they need kitchen nightmares But the only thing saving their business is DoorDash, but the owner needs to stop yelling at the DoorDash drivers, because that would fail them too. I'll give this place a try a few months from now and if the food improves, I will change my review.

It was a cold New England evening as we ventured outside, and we were looking forward to some hot and tasty Indian food. This was our third visit to the Bombay Lounge, and unfortunately it may have been our last. There was only one other party when we arrived a few minutes before 6pm, and we were immediately seated by the waiter/host. We took a booth by the window, which as the night wore on proved to be a mistake, as it was very cold there. But we decided to stay rather than hassle with moving to another table. We ordered two appetizers, an order of samosas and the juicy chicken lollipops. These arrived pretty quickly about 10 minutes after our order was placed. We really liked the three heavily fried samosas, and saved one to take home, but found the chicken lollipops odd, they were difficult to eat with a knife and fork, and very messy to pick with your hand. No additional napkins were offered, and we thought the chicken was a little tough. One of these was left behind, deemed unworthy of taking home. We ordered two Masala Chai teas, hoping a hot tea would warm us up. The tea was tasty and warm, but not hot. We didn't realize it was $9 a cup, more on that topic in a moment. For our dinners we selected: * Chicken Chettinad $24 * Creamy Lamb Korma $28 * Peshawary Naan $9 * Ghee Rice $9 Of all these dishes, I liked the sweet Naan the best. It was nicely executed, warm and delicious. I've had better Lamb Korma, and though the presentation was very nice, the Korma wasn't very creamy, and insufficiently hot. My co-diner thought the Chettinad was "okay", I didn't care for it. The rice was standard fare, mild and a good addition to the Korma, Bombay Lounge does not include rice with their dinners. The Korma and Chettinad weren't very hot, which was surprising considering how long it took for these to be prepared. My co-diner said it was over 45 minutes for these to arrive at our table, and when they finally arrived, they were tepid at best. The bottom line from our perspective was very slow service, average food at best, and high prices. Our bill for two diners with tip was $146, without any alcoholic beverages. We cannot recommend the Bombay Lounge.

I ordered delivery and the food was really good. Will definitely order again from this place. My order was Chicken Tandoori, Chicken ghee roast and Beetroot Tomato soup. All very delicious.

Bombay Lounge just reopened at 64 Water Street and I strongly recommend their weekend $20 lunch buffet! It is the best Indian food you'll ever have! -Amazing food, service and ambience in a classy atmosphere

    No alcoholic wine

I would give it a 3.5 out of five. The service was nice and attentive did take a while for them to retrieve the cards for payment. We opted for the Buffet which had many selections. Food was lukewarm but very tasty. No alcohol served here, non alcoholic wine was ok but for the same price of a glass of wine maybe I will pass next time. All in all on a snowy day in Worcester good experience. Will come back again.

Malai Kofta - I add the peas.

Bombay is the best Northern Indian food in Worcester County. The Malai Kofta is tremendous! Spotless restaurant, extremely kind customer service and fabulous food all for a great price! My favorite go to now. Thanks so much. Flo Lucci

There's no topping Bombay. I've probably visited at least six times in the last year, and each time I leave doubling down on my intention to dunk my entire head in a catering tray of their dal makhani because it's so good. Naan is perfect, lassi is the best and brightest that I've ever had, their dishes -- okra, lentils, any and all chicken -- are distinctive and delicious, and they make a proper gulab jamun. Kala khatta is a really neat surprise, and they have the best lunch special in town. It's always so cute and romantic to go there. They are such an outstanding addition to the city.

My rating is more like 3.5/5. This is located in Worcester town and gives very family friendly vibe. The service is impeccable, staff is super friendly, very accommodating and receptive of the feedback. The restaurant doesn't serve alcoholic drinks. So we ordered a few mocktails which were good and a salted chaas which was a bit too salted. My friends and I shared crispy lotus roots, chicken Lolipop, shivsagar vada pav (2 pcs) for the apps and paneer bhurji ghotala, butter tandoori roti and laccha paratha. Overall the taste and quality of the food is decent, but everything is very overpriced and I didn't get the authentic Indian food taste. The chef did give us a complimentary desert of Shrikhand Puri which was delicious.

The food was good and service was great. I loved the entrees but some of the appetizers could have used more flavor. Overall a good spot for Indian food in Central, MA.

If you love authentic South Indian flavors (or want to experience them done right), this place absolutely delivers. We started with the Idli--soft, fluffy, and served with warm sambar and two types of chutney. It was the perfect light beginning that instantly transported us to a traditional South Indian breakfast table. Next came the Ghee Dosa, Masala Dosa, and Rava Masala Dosa--each one crisped to perfection, golden, and full of flavor. The ghee dosa had that rich, buttery aroma; the masala dosa came with a flavorful, well-spiced potato filling; and the rava dosa, with its crispy edges and hint of crunch, was a textural dream. The accompanying chutneys and sambar were fresh and delicious--clearly made in-house. We decided to explore beyond dosas and ordered the Schezwan Egg Fried Rice--and wow! It was spicy, aromatic, and had just the right Indo-Chinese kick. The eggs were well-cooked and the rice had that perfect wok-tossed flavor with a Schezwan sauce that wasn't overpowering but had depth. The Veg Dum Biryani was another highlight. Served in a generous portion, it was fragrant, colorful, and packed with flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, the vegetables tender, and it came with raita that complemented the spices beautifully. For dessert, we shared Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai. The gulab jamun was warm, soft, and soaked just right in rose-scented syrup--not overly sweet. The ras malai was chilled and creamy, with hints of saffron and cardamom. A perfect sweet ending. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout. The staff clearly care about the food and the customer experience. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a nice blend of modern design with Indian cultural touches. If you're anywhere near Northborough and craving South Indian dishes or flavorful Indo-Chinese options, this place is a must-visit. Great portions, authentic taste, and unbeatable value. We're already planning our next visit--this time bringing friends and family!

This Indian restaurant offers full service dining, takeout, and delivery (third party apps). The dining room has dim lighting and seems like a nice place to have a sitdown dinner. After doing food shopping nearby, I was hungry and decided to order takeout dinner online through Toast (no fees) at Peppers Indian Cuisine. They were offering Christmas & New Year specials including holiday special combo dinners for 1-2 people, family meals and party packs. I also noticed other Indian restaurants in Metrowest were offering family meal deals too. I ordered the $23 special, which included an appetizer, biryani dish, dessert, and can of soda. I chose Manchurian Chicken, Vegetable Dum Biryani, Rasagulla, and Can of Diet Coke. My order was bagged and ready in about 15 minutes after ordering. There was enough food for 2 people to share. The Manchurian Chicken were breaded boneless chicken pieces coated in a sweet and very spicy sauce. The chicken was very chewy to eat. The Vegetable Dum Biryani had a mix of vegetables, red onion, soft basati rice with spices, good flavors. The Rasagulla had 4 soft dough balls in a clear sweet syrup. I definitely needed the Diet Coke to wash down the aftertaste of this big meal with leftovers. Overall, the food I ordered was pretty good.
