I bought a used 2016 Ford Escape SE from this dealership in December 2024 with only 78,696 miles. Less than 6,700 miles later, the transmission was replaced, the engine failed completely, and the car was out of service for over a month for both repairs because of sandbagging from the warranty company and dealership. I also purchased a "Platinum" warranty through the dealership which turned out to have a cap equal to the vehicle's sale price. Translation: the warranty ran out before the car did within 7 months of purchas. After doing some digging, I found that a previous customer had complained about the car smelling like gas, and Glenbrook's own service department did a valve cover gasket repair just one month before selling it to me. That little detail wasn't mentioned at the time of purchase. I've reached out to Ryan Tuttle, the Sales Manager, multiple times. No response. Apparently once your check clears, communication stops. If transparency, accountability, and basic customer care are things you value, I'd recommend buying elsewhere. Glenbrook Dodge sold me a car that's spent more time in the shop than on the road and so far, they've shown zero interest in helping fix it.
