Came into the showroom last October as i had decided it was time for a revamp. The showroom is much larger than it seems and has quite a vast range of products in its displays. The staff were very helpful, i dealt with a man called Paul (Who is the new owner) and helped guide me to what I wanted. Bolton Bathrooms have installers that subcontract for them, this worried me at first but the working relationship between the showroom staff is exactly what you want when having project like this undertaken in your home. There were one or two small issues that made themselves apparent mid job but within the hour of reporting it BB and the installer had come to a solution, solved it and informed me (at no extra cost!). I can't recommend Bolton Bathrooms enough - Everyone was transparent from the get go and they took everything off of my hands from the initial meeting when i had arranged for one of them to come out and measure. read more

We were looking to put in a new bathroom a year or so ago and came to this place to look around. It was easy to find (although the parking wasn't the easiest in the world), and we walked in with quite high expectations. However, we were disappointed and eventually took our custom elsewhere. The problems were two-fold. Firstly, whilst there was a lot of stuff on show, none of it particularly inspired us: it seemed to have been put together in the shop in a rather haphazard way, and not 'installed' particularly well at all. Secondly, the customer service wasn't anything to write home about. The staff did not seem especially attentive and whilst they took our details and threw together a bathroom design (which they then posted out to us), we weren't very impressed: the design seemed drab and mass-produced rather than something individualised and inspiring. However, the design was quite well-priced. All in all, the one word that springs to mind is mediocre. Some folk have managed to elevate mediocrity to an art form (think the England cricket team), but I'm afraid I can't even write that of Bolton Bathrooms Ltd Maybe you'll do better if you investigate these people yourself -- but we went elsewhere in the end. read more

3 years later my floor tiles are still cracking, grout breaking away and an independent fitter says the floor is not level and not boarded right or not flexible enough to cope with the movement but Bolton Bathrooms say not their fault because you pay fitter THEY RECOMMEND separately! Even though designer came and viewed the bathroom and measured and came back when I contacted them over floor tiles cracking and he said there is no movement in the floor and yet when you walk on the floor the tiles are moving and lumps of grout are breaking off! But oh no its the fitter who has worked for them for 25 years and doesn't now because in his own words he was sick of using rubbish tiles that were bought as a job lot and targeted by sales people to get rid of. We looked round a dozen or so places to redo our ensuite. The shop is a bit of a mess and needs a good clean. However, the salesman was very helpful and in the end we just about decided to go with them. They sorted out a fitter (Paul Foster). A few things happenedthe fitter was a 3-4 days late starting as his last job ran over. Quite understandable. The suite turned up on a firday morning, while both me and my wife were at work. We then got urgent phone calls from Bolton Bathrooms saying they needed the remainder paying off there and then. There was NO warning of this. Luckily they got hold of me before I boarded a plane to go abroad for a few days. (My wife was in an important meeting all day and so could not have been disturbed.) The bathroom quoted as 2 weeks took 5 weeks. This was largely down to Paul working builders hours. Paul was a nice and honest bloke and professional. The bathroom looks lovely. Few issues though.. Paul unfortunately marked the flooringhe did sort this The shower thermometer on the first two showers was faulty. He did not want to incur the cost of coming bakc and fitting a third. I went into see Bolton bathrooms who were helpful and very embarrassed (genuinely). He came back fitted the third, but didn't calibrate it. SO i ended up doing the calibration with someone from the manufacturers on the phone. The shower curtain is a fixed foldable one. However the shower was not positioned in the centre of the bath so the curtain cannot fold flat against the wall. All in all happy with the bathroom, annoyed at how long it took and the few glitches. read more

Waste of time!.....we visited Bolton Bathrooms in the hope to sort our bathroom out, after looking round the owner said to us that if we bring our dimensions in then he would design us a plan etc. We did just that and booked an appointment one and a half weeks later to go back and review the design he had done. However when we went back to reveiw the plan we were greeted by a lady and sat down at a desk, the desk was cluttered with loads of plans and paperwork, cups of coffee and general clutter. After much shuffling through reams of paper she was unable to find our plans. The lady then asked us to walk round the showroom whilst it gave her more time to look, after a while we went back downstairs only for us to be told that they hadn't even planned it and made an excuse that we had been mixed up with another customer....I am not surprised due to the utter chaos that we witnessed. At this point we decided to leave and not waste any more time with this company. If this is how they work during the design and quotation stage then I would hate to go into contract with them in the vein hope that they would do a good job of my bathroom. Sorry BB but you had your chance and blew it from the outset. read more
