The staff were very helpful, i dealt with a man called Paul (Who is the new owner) and helped guide me to what I wanted. Bolton Bathrooms have installers that subcontract for them, this worried me at first but the working relationship between the showroom staff is exactly what you want when having project like this undertaken in your home. There were one or two small issues that made themselves apparent mid job but within the hour of reporting it BB and the installer had come to a solution, solved it and informed me (at no extra cost!). I can't recommend Bolton Bathrooms enough - Everyone was transparent from the get go and they took everything off of my hands from the initial meeting when i had arranged for one of them to come out and measure.

We were looking to put in a new bathroom a year or so ago and came to this place to look around…read more It was easy to find (although the parking wasn't the easiest in the world), and we walked in with quite high expectations. However, we were disappointed and eventually took our custom elsewhere. The problems were two-fold. Firstly, whilst there was a lot of stuff on show, none of it particularly inspired us: it seemed to have been put together in the shop in a rather haphazard way, and not 'installed' particularly well at all. Secondly, the customer service wasn't anything to write home about. The staff did not seem especially attentive and whilst they took our details and threw together a bathroom design (which they then posted out to us), we weren't very impressed: the design seemed drab and mass-produced rather than something individualised and inspiring. However, the design was quite well-priced. All in all, the one word that springs to mind is mediocre. Some folk have managed to elevate mediocrity to an art form (think the England cricket team), but I'm afraid I can't even write that of Bolton Bathrooms Ltd Maybe you'll do better if you investigate these people yourself -- but we went elsewhere in the end.

Prestwich Hardware is so helpful for DIY…read moreprojects, odd jobs around the house and bits and bobs that might be so tiny and inexpensive but make the difference between harmonious home and falling apart. The service from the chap (definitely the right word) is so helpful especially if you do the whole damsel in distress thing - its NOT an act I really do have no clue. But I'm an independent woman and at the moment its just me and my mum in our house. No men to do all these kind of jobs. So we have our own little tool box now - yes some of them have flowers on and were a present. But still. They can help you with the parts themselves, tools, how to do it, common pitfalls, what to do afterwards. Lifesavers but they don't have the range that say BnQ have as its a pretty small shop.
