Definitely rate this place.If you hate queuing at B&Q and want to talk to someone who knows what they are talkign about come here.Do not be put off by the fact it looks like it is from the 40's from outside and the fact it does not look as though it will have everything.I t will and if they haven't they'll get it.They even told me which superstore to go to to get something they carried but for my job the product was better at B&Q.Obviously does not open as early or close as late as the big boys. read more

Oddjobs is a very handy hardware store in Brighouse. They sell everything you could think of needing for odd jobs around the house. Screws, pipes, bits of plastic LOL. The blokes behind the counter are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have some bits of furniture in the window too, and larger items like ladders and brooms. The shop is filthy but what do you expect from a hardware shop?! The prices are reasonable and they usually have everything well stocked. I think they also do callouts for odd jobs at your house, I don't know how much they charge but I expect it wouldn't be too much. read more

This is brilliant store and long may it go on, they are so helpful and do not rip you off .I find the odd lengths of wood in all sizes are just what you need for the small job and the prices are not over the top in fact some are less than the big boys. read more
