All of the folks at 4 Paws gave Harley unprecedented attention and compassion over many years, with such gentleness and care. At no time did we ever feel that 4 Paws was suggesting care for Harley that was anything other than in his best interest. These people are truly animal lovers, all of whom genuinely care deeply and personally about every one of their patients. Everyone at 4 Paws definitely cared as much about Harley as I did. When it was discovered, very suddenly that Harley was ill, he was immediately scheduled by 4 Paws with Oak Creek Veterinary Hospital, and he was admitted for surgery within a couple of hours. Harley had Splenetic Cancer, which had metastasized to his other organs. This is an illness not uncommon, but even with today's technology, it still cannot pinpoint a cause. At 56 days old, Harley became accustomed to falling asleep in my arm, with his head on my shoulder. Every night the ritual of him laying on a shoulder with my arm around him, looking into my eyes as I told him a bedtime story, until he fell asleep never changed. I savored every night. Just 9 1/2 years old seems way too short. But, in that 9 1/2 years, we weren't apart for 72 hours total. Every day, he would lay under my desk as I got through the work that I needed to do, then it was walk time. Harley would scream and tear around the house at words like "walk," "ride in the truck," "go swimming," "rollerblading" and "frisbee." He would never start eating his breakfast or dinner alone. He would only eat after we also sat down to have a meal together. Afterword, the tradition was to sit stubbornly in front of his toy closet until one of us got him a chew toy. I have had the blessings of loving and being loved in my life, but nothing compares to the bond and companionship I had with this sweet little pal, Harley. This little guy will rest in my heart forever... Harley had one hard evening. By 3:00 AM, Harley was telling us that it was time. We drove through the early morning hours to arrive at 4 Paws at 7:00 AM. They immediately took him in, handled him with such gentleness and care, and provided him with such a peaceful and dignified cross over the Rainbow Bridge. There was not a dry eye at 4 Paws. They are so caring and such wonderful people. Thank you all at 4 Paws for helping us in our greatest time of need. We all will hold Harley in our hearts.

Not only has Devon helped Alice with her specialized training, but they've also worked with Zoey and David on refresher lessons and day-to-day living strategies to make managing three very different dogs much easier. Devon's approach is amazing--they adjust their training methods to align with what I'm comfortable with, creating a collaborative and supportive experience. It's never about right or wrong; it's about finding what works best for you and your dog. We've done in-person lessons and board-and-trains, and every time, Alice comes home better than when she left. Alice adores Devon, and knowing she's happy and in such capable hands makes all the difference. Devon is easy to communicate with, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly cares about the well-being of every dog they work with. I can't recommend them enough

I wasn't sure how he would do woth other animals but Devon immediately assured me that they would be able to handle Kapano in their house for his boarding! I was impressed as he came back more confident and mannered around other dogs. I was consistently sent updates and photos of him throughout his stay and made to feel more than welcome to visit. He also came back to me in better shape in terms of muscle! If there was anything Devon had questions about they had no issues contacting me right away to let me know or ask about, I felt very comfortable and safe with my dog remaining under Devons care. I had never had to leave my dog with anyone before so i was reasonably worried as he's been my bestfriend for 6 years but i am EXTREMELY satisfied with Devons services and will continue to use devon for any training/boarding related needs for the future. I cannot recommend Arcane Canine enough! And thank you Devon for taking the best care of my boy when I needed it the most you are amazing!

Without reservation, Peggy and the other wonderful caregivers welcomed Emmie and cared for her as if she was their own. They called us daily and sent photos of Em. We had worried because she had never been boarded or played with other dogs. However, she came home with fur friends and a team that truly cared for her. Such a relief to know whenever we are in Jacksonville, or the Mayo Clinic, that Dogtopia 11300 Beach Blvd is there to care for Em. Our heart filled thanks to Peggy and her team of dog lovers.

I am in Jax for extended stay, but still a temporary visit, and I wanted my dog to have some sense of normalcy by continuing to go to daycare like she does at home. The owner talked me through the forms to sign, which is on me for not reading it myself, because she did not at all mention that I was signed up for auto-billing so I was shocked to see a $428 charge for daycare when my dog didn't go to daycare once on the initial 1 month package I signed up for. The fact that I had to reach out multiple times before getting any acknowledgement is a super disappointing experience given how friendly and "transparent" the owner is to prospective customers. I will note the reason I didn't end up taking my dog there even though I had purchased a package is because it is standard at all Dogtopia's that dogs are crated for a 2 hour window everyday, and the place I take her at our permanent home is a crate-free environment so two hours in a crate every day would not be a good experience for her.
