Beware. First time trying this place and I should have known something was off. I ordered from Naruto Ramen which is the other name this restaurant is going by. Not a true ramen spot. Order a few different meals for my house. All different varieties of the ramen offering and everyone because extremely ill. I have been on a Chinese food rampage lately, with no success unfortunately. I live in the area, and pass here often. I came here a few times roughly a year ago and just got some appetizer menu items. It wasn't bad, but I had never had a meal here until recently and since have ordered three times, and been literally holding my head in pain every time. They don't use MSG, which I know because I can't eat that crap. That being said, they use chicken broth...which is great just not in lethal doses. They put so much chicken broth in the food that it actually burns your mouth a little, and then you can't taste ANYTHING else for 20 minutes. I had General Tso's, and then tried the rice, wonton soup, and egg roll and couldn't even taste it after the General Tso's. Then comes the headaches... I am sorry, I like the people in there a lot, but cannot go back. Maybe they will read this review and change the way they prepare the food. Oh and also, they put so much onion in the fried rice it just tasted like onion. I just don't get it. read more

This place has no sense of decency. My son called to make and order and they thought he was joking. In any event, I called to make the order only to be told that they don't deliver to my address. I initially thought that they were far off. But they weren't, and enquired deeper as to why they weren't doing the delivery. They explained why, then I asked if I sounded like I was joking, the gentleman told me in no uncertain terms that they did not want my business. Piss poor customer service and don't recommend their services to anyone. read more

They were once 5 stars now under a new owner, they are well really bad. The food has no taste and you will always find a few hairs in your food thanks to the female employees not wearing hair nets to keep their hair out of your food. I would say it is a must go if you asked 4 months ago when a mid aged couple ran the place. Now a young kid runs it and turned it into the toilet literally. read more

What happened to this place - it use to be good and now it's become a tasteless poor excuse for Chinese food. Sesame chicken had no taste and chewed like a rubber band. The sauce was bland not sweet or tangy. The husband and wife (owners) looked bored - perhaps it's time to get out. read more

This is my go-to spot when it comes to sushi in my area. The sushi is very delicious and always fresh. The portion size of the sushi is 8 pieces. Not too thick nor too slim. This restaurant is the worse they tried to charge me $25 minimum for delivery when it clearly says $10 minimum on the takeout menu. When I called back they told me I lived far away and that was the reason. I live 3 miles away from the restaurant. Dishonest people with mediocre food. The food is good. But the Chinese lady owner has such nasty attitude. Instead of thanking the customers from buying from them she slams things and gave me a bad face like I did something to her. Being the name of this place has "sushi" in it, I decide to give it a try. I decide not only to buy food for me, but to deliver some food to my friend too. I wanted to split a few things in half, some to take home and some for them to deliver to my friend, but the guy(young, stupid kid at the counter) tells me, "No, we don't do that". So I had to spend double of what it should have cost me because I wanted to order the same things for both of us. So I end up spending over $45 dollars so I had enough food for me and my friend upon the delivery. I'm getting ready to leave and I ask the guy if they put soy sauce in the bag and he says, "Yes, everything in bag". I leave the place and at the first light I decide to look in the bag to make sure I have everything and in the bag are TWO soy sauce packets. Are you kidding me? I just spent $45 dollars on sushi rolls, lots of them and you give me only two soy sauce packets? Knowing I have soy sauce at home, I can deal with this, but I knew my friend did not have soy sauce at home so I call the restaurant and first tell him two soy sauce packets is not enough for my order and this idiot tells me that is what you get with two sushi rolls. So I have to spread out one packet each for 16 rolls I am going to be eating? NOT! So I tell idiot that when the guy leaves to deliver the order to my friend, make sure to put at least 15 soy sauce packets in the bag. He says, "Okay" and I hang up. My friend gets the order, calls me and thanks me. Meanwhile I'm thinking how does my friend know I sent it. So my friend tells me that the receipt with the entire breakdown of the food he got is stapled to the bag with my phone number. I ask my friend if there were soy sauce packets in the bag and yes, there were, TWO whole packets in the bag. Also, I might add, no chop sticks in either of our bags. I decide to stop in the restaurant the next day and idiot is at the counter and I ask if he remembered me and he said he did and first I asked how come I didn't get chop sticks and he had no answer. Then I said, I told you to put at least 15 packets in the bag with the delivery and he says, "I didn't deliver it, my son did and he had just left when you called". So that means, this P.O.S. said yes to pacify me with no intentions of adding the soy sauce packets that I had asked. If your son just left, call him on his cell and tell him to come back. Instead, as I told you when I stopped in the next day, "You will never see me in your restaurant again". You ruined it because of what you did. BTW, the food wasn't as good as a lot of other places we eat, so I wasn't going to come back anyway. Perhaps I would have given it a second chance, but now, you can forget it. Very poor customer service. Oh and you could have split up my food order, that too blew us ever coming in there again as well. Go to Tobiko in Valley Stream, all you can eat and half the price of this place and the food is spectacular at Tobiko. read more

Tonight, I hung-up after telling them about the rude service they were delivering telephonically. I have noticed that the sushi reviews here are good. However, I can only comment on the Chinese food since I have never had their sushi. I'll keep this simple. DISGUSTING! This is the dirtiest, most disgusting take out anything I have ever had. Just like another reviewer, I have also discovered hair in the food. Good Chinese take out is hard to find around here. Just received the menu at my door this am. I held it aside as I was in the mood for Chinese and cannot seem to find any place that was better than China Gourmet that left several years ago. I was sorry to say it was a $40.00 mistake, the crab rangoons were nothing than deflated triangles of tough wrapper and barely a filling, the pork steamed dumplings were again too much wrapper and very gummy. The wonton soup was the nothing special, the egg roll was fair but they all tend to overuse the cabbage. California roll freebie was good. The special dinners don't bother they fill the container 3/4 full of the worst pork fried rice I ever had. No pork but some belly fat, the few peas had freezer burn, something orange that could have been a carrot piece? Flavor was poor. So for those of you looking for a good place it's non existent in Franklin Square. I wonder if the owners read their comments but this one wont last if they don't fix it. Sorry for the poor review as I know starting a new business is always tough. read more
