6 crab Rangoon bites for $12

Chicken fried rice was really good. However disappointed by the quantity of crab rangoons. DO NOT BUY CRAB RANGOONS. It's like a total value rip off 6 tiny rangoons for $12.

I believe this place used to be a sushi restaurant. Maybe they changed name or just same owner. Food is amazing for our dinner. We had some sushi, calamari, shrimps. It was good. The ambiance was very nice and no problem with the parking. Many choices in the menu but could only eat a few. Would come back to try another dish

Finally got the parents to eat some sushi... even though my dad attacked it with a fork. Got the crispy crunchy and a basic California. Also warmed up with the lettuce wraps and governors bowl, both exquisite. I washed the food away with a homemade ginger ale- fantastic. Stephanie was very accommodating to my dad's menu questions which was much appreciated. Definitely will be back.

Today for lunch was my first time coming to Bok Choy and I will definitely be back. The food was great and the atmosphere/decorations are really cool.

Came in on a Thursday where I was expecting more people to be there but nope it was actually quiet nice and not chaotic. I recommend this spot. It's a nice and chill vibe, the lights are dimmed with cool red lights on the walls which I like because it's not that light inside. The aesthetic of the place is really nice as well, there's booths, nice tables, high tables to sit at and you can also sit at the bar and watch the sushi chefs make fresh sushi in front of you. Food is always amazing, tasty and fresh as well. Only complaint from that day was waiting about 25-30 minutes for two orders of sushi, other than that I recommend!!

Mango with sticky rice - yummm! With a layer of toasted coconut

I usually go in for lunch. Tried, true, and trusted dishes are the mongolian beef and governor's chicken. Jaime and Jeana are fantastic! Today I tried the mussels off their limited time Lent menu. Oh. My. Goodness. The mussels were some of the best I've ever had! The most delicately flavored green curry, with onion and pineapple. And don't skip the mango and sticky rice!! Always a good meal, always great service. Definitely worth a visit.

The poke was way too salty it was like they marinated the rice in soy sauce then cooked it.

So far I tried Mr A's across the street for breakfast and it's a hit or miss it's good on certain dishes like the pancakes but not the French toast. This is my first time trying this Vietnamese place across the street and it seems pretty clean I did try to come here but you have to come here Wednesday through Sunday and I came on a Monday or Tuesday and they were closed. Right now this is my opportunity trying them and so far it's been a quaint and ambience on the declar if they're playing soft jazz music. So far service was pretty quick. Instead of the typical traditional Vietnamese summer or spring rolls I went for the Chinese side which they had shrimp shumai which is more dim sum I just ordered one it was okay. I ordered the pho with the beef tendon and it was a meh ok. I think it could have been a little more flavorful with their pho broth but it wasn't bland either. Needs more cinnamon. What's also unique was the fact that they kept their soup spoons and their regular spoons and chopsticks in this wooden box and then another peculiarity was you had to get the condiments of basil chili pepper bean sprouts and lime up in a tray versus for them to bring it to you. The line in the basil didn't seem that fresh which is why I was a little disappointed other than that it was okay. I don't know if I would come here more often but there are other places I tried that are Vietnamese in which the pho had more flavor and was better. I probably would come here for their dim sum

We went for Happy Hour and were seated at the bar because all of the tables were apparently reserved. We were greeted by Adam who was the only server in the bar. For Happy Hour they have a few drink specials and all Small Plates are half off. We asked about GF options and he was not too helpful but we made it work. My wife started with a Ginger Pina Martini with grilled pineapple infused vodka. She loved it ,I thought it was too sour. I tried their Toshi Old Fashion with Iwai 45 which is a Japanese blended whiskey. Very good. For our small plates we had Spicey Tuna Crispy Rice,Chicken Lettuce Wraps,BBQ Lollipops and a Philadelphia Roll. Hands down our favorite were the BBQ lollipops..sliced New York strip wrapped around lemongrass with a delicious sauce. On Tuesdays they offer half price rolls which makes us want to go back as some of their signature rolls sounded amazing. The duck bao buns came two per order and had a sauce to melt the flavor of the duck in your mouth. The shishido peppers came with a sauce that was creamy and complimentary. They have sushi boats that come with four rolls, but I opted to eat three. All of our selection of rolls was pretty and filling. Some ordered hot plates and the portions were grand and they were delicious. We went for a birthday and ordered two desserts. The ube cheesecake didn't have the blueberries on there, as the photos suggested it would, but still tasted great. The chocolate peanut butter cake was also good, but wasn't considered a favorite. Our server Ayden was helpful and got our food out quickly. His service was pretty good and he was friendly. This was lively for a night that was -10 Fahrenheit! It was so busy, so that tells you it's a great restaurant, and I agree.

Always feels welcoming and warm (especially in the winter). I cannot say more than all of their food is delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the broths, but don't be shy to try the spicy. It is not overwhelming and adds great flavor. The staff is great and always willing to answer any questions. This one's building looks like a beautiful lodge. While there is an online Yelp waitlist (that goes up to 6 people), we had a party of 8 so I called the restaurant and they were happy to put my name down for a reservation. We came to celebrate my dad's birthday. We brought a cake to share, and when we arrived, our server was gracious enough to store it in the fridge until we were ready. We had 6 adults and 2 kids. Kids under a certain height (I forget the details exactly) are free. So we didn't have to pay for the little ones, and not like toddlers appreciate hot pot anyway. It was more, "how do we make sure they don't touch the pot?!" which went totally fine. It's to position the high chairs the furthest away from the knobs/hot surfaces. On our end of the table, we got the half-half broth of classic marrow and the gold cabbage marrow. The golden marrow was SO GOOD. I would get this again and again, because it's hot/sour; the flavor of pickled cabbage and the spice of Szechuan peppercorns. Our server said the spice builds over time, and it did. It was so flavorful that I barely used my dipping sauce. If you like hot/spicy and sour, choose this broth, it is DELICIOUS. The sauce station and the prepared food buffet was located in the middle-back of the dining area. It's a little packed and cozy in there, especially during the dinner rush, you may need to wait a little longer or keep an eye on the area to determine when to get out of your seat. This same area has self-service personal ice cream cups, soda, additional toppings/veggies/proteins, buffet (fried rice, fried chicken, egg rolls, fried buns) AND the sauce station. What I did love is there was a gentleman who was making balloon animals/hats/characters for sale near the front of the restaurant. He says he does this occasionally when he doesn't have other gigs like parties or weddings, etc, so my kiddo and my niece each got a cat and a bunny, respectively. This made their day! And it was nice for them not to be strapped into a high chair the whole time, and have something to entertain them. Overall, 4 shining stars! It would have been great if they had private and semi-private rooms like the Bridgeport location, but I think this wasn't possible due to their building. It looked like they took over a from a Mangia Bubala Roadhouse (Italian and Jewish fare) which took over from a Connie's Pizza. This place has gone through some changes, but it looks like Happy Lamb will be there for the long-run.
