This location is looking pretty worn out on the interior despite a relatively fresh looking exterior. Bojangles has never been widely known for the best service experience and although everyone here was friendly, the service was really quite slow. I found myself waiting for 9 minutes for a biscuit to be put together during early dinner hours when I was the only one at the counter and the drive through only had 3 or 4 cars. This wasn't terrible and it didn't ruin my day but it didn't seem like anyone at this location was surprised in the slightest at how long everything was taking which indicates this is perfectly normal. I'm not one to blame the staff as I know how little these people are being paid and how often they are being asked to cover low staffing numbers with less people and more work for the same pay. I blame Bojangles in general for their mostly universal mediocre to bad service. Most of the locations I go to have people who are friendly and want to do well but they are either understaffed or under-supported. I love Bojangles and my kids REALLY love it, but for the prices they are charging now for chicken, I would like to see the company make strides in improving their service without just making the jobs harder for those already trying employees. read more

My wife would be upset with me if I did not put this out there. She was absolutely disgusted with our experience, and for good cause. And I was extremely exasperated and annoyed. Of all of the reviews I've done (about 2500 - 3000 across all venues over the past ten years or so), I think I've given one star ratings perhaps four or five times. Businesses really have to earn it. This one did. We pulled in late on a Sunday morning (around 11 AM) because 1) we could be sure to still be able to get breakfast fare and 2) we thought we could get in and out quickly. We were wrong on count #2. One reason we pulled in was because it was much less busy than the neighboring Biscuitville and Waffle House. We found out why that was. There were three or four people in line when we walked in. Placing our order was not bad, but then the problems began. I could go into some detail as to how this happened, but I'll just cut to the chase and say that it took 30 minutes to get our food while 6 or 8 people after us got their orders. It was one of the most extreme cases of disorganization I've ever seen. It took us 30 minutes to get our food and five minutes to eat it. The quality of the food was OK, the dining room was nice if not kept up well and the prices were reasonable. But all of that otherwise 3-star quality was dwarfed by the awful service. read more

Employees choose whether they will take your order if their phone is not more of a priority. I left because the entire store was dirty and neglected. I was worried my unborn children would graduate college before we got our food. Over 39 minute wait for 3 meals. Too many people standing around doing nothing when there's a line around the building and a line out the door inside. 3 other separate orders were taken after us and left with their meals before us. The staff was rude and dismissive when my fellow diners asked for heat in the dining room. It was frigid. No hair nets, no long hair restrained, floor is slick as ice. No tables cleaned. No food freshly coming out. Rude, loud, and profane employees. Ice machine out front was empty and behind the counter acted like it was an imposition to give us ice for our cups. When picking up our dine in meal, finally, standing right at the counter the manager yelled the order and continued to yell when I was a foot away from her confirming the order. My order was incorrect. Supremes we're bite size at best, only received 2. Pimento on the side was a teaspoon, at best. Ordered Bo Original sandwiches, got Cajun. It was infuriating watch him put each piece of chicken of a 20 piece order in the box. What is it about people taking breaks before your order is complete? No communication with the relief staff. Stopped by for supper and ordered the biggest tender meal they had. Usually their chicken isn't that good from our experiences. 12 pieces and 2 sides and half gallon of tea. Several of the tenders were very small. We had to pull up in line and wait for about 10 minutes, which is ok so it will be hot. We recieved the order and they forgot the tea. They had to go back and get it. The food was good but expensive. $35.00 for that amount of tenders and they should've checked the order before they bought it out to us. We regularly eat at Bojangles at home. We've eaten at Bojangles all over the south. This was the worst Bojangles that I've ever encountered. I was waited on as soon as I got to the register. That's where things deteriorated. As I was waiting for my food, a couple of people came up for napkins saying they needed to wipe their tables off. As I was waiting for my food, the guy behind me had to point out to the kids behind the counter which pieces of chicken were thighs. While I waited for my food, a guy came up saying he received the wrong sandwich. The sandwich he returned was put back on the warmer with the other sandwiches. Luckily, a few minutes later, someone in the back caught it and pulled it. While I waited for my food, I got a good view of the floor strewn with food. I decided that I'd waited long enough and asked about my food. The kid in the front realized there weren't any more bacon and egg biscuits so, guess what, I waited for my food. I finally received my food and went to sit at a table that my husband wiped off (there was not a clean table in the place and the floor was no different than the kitchen - it was strewn with food). Once I unstuck the paper from my biscuit, I took a bite. The biscuit was overdone and the bottom almost too hard to bite through. I removed the bottom half of the biscuit and was finally able to eat my lunch. Let's just say it didn't rank in the top ten of biscuits. I forgot to mention, while we were eating, one of the employees locked the side entrance (the door by the drive thru was still open). A number of people tried to get in and a lucky few did get out. We only make this drive every few years so we won't be back. You should probably drive by too. read more

We stopped by here during our road trip for a much-needed lunch and since Bojangles is only in the south we decided to try it (especially since every bulletin board along the highway advertises this southern chain). There was a two-piece lunch combo for only $5.99, which came with your choice of a side, biscuit and a drink, which is what we ended up getting. The two-pieces are dark meat, a leg and thigh and I got the dirty rice with gravy on it as my side. But other sides include mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, fries or greens. Though it's a chain Bojangles serves good fried chicken, and I can see why the south is populated with this place. The chicken was juicy, had a light fry on the skin, and have to say it's better than most other fried chicken chains I've visited. The dirty rice with gravy was also good and the portion was just the right amount for one person. And the biscuit was fluffy, butter-y and soft, just as it should be. I also saw on the menu that it had biscuit sandwiches, which looked so tempting, especially for breakfast. Fortunately, Bojangles isn't in the Pacific Northwest otherwise I'd be ten or more pounds heavier, but do enjoy coming here whenever I'm in the south and recommend to anyone it's worth a visit if you've never been. read more

Beyond frustrating. Months ago, I ordered an 8 piece box online for pick-up, said it would be ready in 7 minutes. When I got to the store, it was over an hour before my order was ready. Filed a complaint with the website and never heard from anyone. We experienced friendly and timely service here, even though some of the staffers were brand new and had trouble counting simple dollar bills. In fact, I gave the cashier $25 for a $20. 50 order and she gave me almost $25 back. I gave her the $20 back and while she was confused, tried to explain simple math. Still, she was pleasant and tried. Mire importantly, the food was hot and there was someone working full time to keep the dining area clean, which isn't always common in Bo-Time territory. For those driving on I-40, this location is a little less than two miles off the highway so use caution on veering off thinking you'll find it within sight of exiting (there's a sign acknowledging it on the exit, which can be misleading). read more

I come here occasionally only because I regularly pass by in the morning, but I keep forgetting how bad the food is! The biscuits are barely warm and don't seem fresh at all - last time they seemed barely cooked and the sausage was dry and cold. Of course, getting my food thrown at me and the window slammed in my face doesn't help matters either. In the evening, nothing seems to change. I really need to remember to turn left into McD's next door instead of right into a load of regret! If you want a good Bojangles' experience, continue West for several miles on I-40W and then head North a short bit on Elm-Eugene - that Bojangles' is nothing to look at, but they are always pretty friendly and the food is consistently excellent!
