Bojangles's got good crispy bacon, soft buttery eggs, well-seasoned Bo Rounds with some crunch! Love the all-day breakfast idea... Also BJ's got jokes... The time they ran out of plastic bags & gave me this giant paper satchel built for a tailgating event... Itty bitty box inside! LOL They now utilize the AI DT personality but I have to admit they get it right every time here. Good food. Quick service. Kind staff at the window delivering the orders. Parking lot is a little bit overrun in the back as it's being service to overflow car parking for the repair shop next door, but other than that... No real complaints! read more

Reading through the reviews this location seems to struggle more often than not. However, for us in our experience we ordered through Door Dash and had a great experience. We ordered a family meal and everything came exactly as ordered and packaged very nicely for delivery. The food was exactly what you would expect from Bojangles and we had no complaints. We went through the drive through and it was HORRIBLE. The line took forever because they were using an AI to take orders- they also had a girl that would take orders but she just wouldn't do her job?? She said "were you cursing at me?" When my friend was mad at the robot after wasn't even speaking- so we didn't know she was even there. She then refused to take our order?? She needs to be fired. Horrible service. Also- the food that they show for their "business" isn't even theirs. If you search "Bojangles" on any platform those photos show up from a Facebook post made in another state. I waited 5 minutes at the intercom with 0 line in front of me. Someone finally comes on and I immediately could tell they were high.. I then pull up the window, and was greeted by seeing an employee in full sight wearing a shirt of "soft core pornography" yes, you read that right. Drive thru wait is ridiculous in the mornings, there will barely be a line and there's still a 20 minute wait just to get your food. I saw a lot of reviews on this place as me and my team do some landscaping/construction work in the area and I was looking for good places to grab food from. However I saw one review that truly stood out to me. A Tiana B commented in depth about the uncleanliness and uncomfortable atmosphere she felt simply in the drive through not even in the restaurant. Which I feel strong about due to the fact My girlfriend faced a similar issue at the exact same location. There was a specific employee in the restaurant who was staring at my girlfriend chest and she overhead another employee tell this employee to wash his hands and wear gloves. This obviously was not okay at all but also if someone were to get sick that would be a much larger issue in and of itself. I'd recommend staying away from here simply to mitigate risk. read more

I love Bojangles, always have. This being the only location in Mt. P, I rarely go anymore because of the steady decline in food quality and service. Sometimes I feel like there are no employees, the fries have no flavor, the soda machine has no carbonation, and the biscuits are hard as a rock. I have stopped here many times. I am getting to a point where I'm ready write this location off though. At one stop, I sat in the dining area and was "treated" to a theatrical performance of: "Two Angry Co-Workers". i.e I could hear two of the employees arguing in the kitchen. I'm pretty sure it had continued, it would have went from theater to MMA show. On my last time going there---just about 2 weeks ago--I was totally ignored. I mean IGNORED. This particular Bojangles is not the one that I usually go to but I have missed going to the one on Johns Island which was closed because of COVID and then the traffic got so bad getting in and out. Thus I found myself in Mount Pleasant and said oh good I can go to Bojangles. I did not know if inside was open so I went into the drive-in with only two vehicles in front of me. The first one, a pickup, took literally forever and a day with *over* 5 minutes sitting there at the speaker to order. Due to the layout of the drive-thru there was no way to get out of the line and attempt to go in. The car in front of me took maybe two minutes at the ordering speaker and then it was my turn. I sat there for a good minute saying hello a couple of times until finally someone said just a minute. They took my order and I drove up to the window without any further delay. My big problem here was the lack of service in the quite slow drive-thru and then when I got home it was chicken which apparently had been under a heat lamp so much that it was really dried out. I buy Bojangles regularly both, here, in Mount Pleasant and in Myrtle Beach. My grandkids love it! Earlier this week, I purchased a 12-piece box of chicken tenders and got 4 sauces, 2 honey mustards and 2 Buffalo, and a whole box of biscuits. Today, I bought a 25-piece box of chicken tenders and got home to 2 sauces, 1 honey mustard and 1 Buffalo and only 4 biscuits. It's pretty pathetic that at least 3 of each of the sauces weren't given. I don't eat the biscuits but, when you get a box of biscuits with a 12-piece, you expect more when you purchase a 25-piece box. This Bojangles is very poorly managed. I have given this Bojangles multiple times to get it right. The last time I came by here to get their two for for sausage egg and cheese biscuits. That you would think because they're on special that they would have them at the ready. Bojangles on Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant is one of my favorite Bojangles locations in the area and a really good place to go for chicken and biscuits. This is a good option when you need to feed a large group of people for a good value. The staff here is very efficient and makes everything very easy. Worst service ever!!!! No exaggeration that it took 31 minutes (got there at 11:55am and left at 1226) to get my food and that's counting from the time that I ordered at the drive thru. I only ordered a kid's meal for my nephew. There was a maximum of 3 cars in front of me that had already ordered. Took more than 20 minutes just to pull up to the window to pay and they still didn't have the food ready (I didn't ask for it to be cooked fresh). Worst part is once you're in the drive thru lane you're trapped because there is no way to exit from it. No apologies for the long delay only attitude. When I asked them for extra seasoning for my fries since they didn't do so despite me ordering them with extra seasoning, the young guy looks at me and says say "please." After the long delay, no apologies, rudeness, and lack of customer service, you expect me to be polite by saying please? Never coming back!!!
