3.5 stars! I really appreciated most things about this place besides the food! A) Location off the main road/highway in Havelock B) Drive-thru and dining room open early for breakfast every day at 5:30AM C) Quick service and sizeable menu for breakfast foods I ordered 1) Sausage biscuits and gravy 2) Chicken biscuit 3) Hash browns rounds 4) Drip coffee There were already other folks (seniors) in the dining room before 6:00AM. The line for the drive-thru was already going. This felt like the place to be in Havelock, NC on the weekend. I was so excited to try this chain. Turns out the food isn't too great. Good but not great. All pretty dry, bland, and not spicy or seasoned. I don't see myself coming back when there's Chick-Fil-A or Raising Cane's. All 3.5 of my stars are for the location, space, and staff. If I lived out in NC, I'd come here out of convenience like I do when I visit McDonald's or Taco Bell or some other fast food chain. read more

The last 5 or 6 times I've been my order has been wrong everytime they will not be seeing me any longer

Service was fine. We got our food cold, no fries even though we ordered a combo and they gave us the wrong biscuit. The chicken was rubbery and bland, the best thing they probably have on the menu was the cinnamon twist. I usually rarely ever write reviews but this was one of the most disgusting places I've ever tried and being from Texas and hearing so much about this place, it was beyond disappointing. read more

Food was fine. Only issue I had is it was around 9pm and I had placed a mobile order, while the other person who was driving decided to place the order at the speaker. The women who took our order told us I had to pickup my order inside, and when we asked again at the window when she took our payment, she doubled down and said I needed to come inside. After that, she PULLS US UP so she can run the food out to us when it's ready. I understand if it was busy or during the day, but we were literally the only customers there. If you have to run out the order to us, why can't you also bring out my order that was already completed?? It makes no sense for me to walk out of the car, go inside and grab the food, then walk out and back in the car. Just to wait for someone to walk out of the building to give us more food. read more

I was wondering how we got two chicken tenders specials to go so quick. We went inside to look at menu and decide. Less than 5 minutes our order was ready. I had bragged how good the one near Raleigh was that I would treat so my daughter and I could enjoy a tasty meal at my place. When we got home 15 minutes later we discovered dried-up ,over salted French Fries. The food was cold and looked like it had been settling around for hours. slowest bojangles ever!!! don't bother doing a online order if you need/want your food quick. i placed my order a little after 1:00pm got here at 1:10pm and didn't get my food till 1:30pm while 4 other people came in and placed orders and got their food after i had gotten there. so while the food may be good the establishment shouldn't offer online services for food if you're going to have to stand there and wait for 20 mins anyways while other people quickly get their food. read more

Always, always, ALWAYS check your bag, your box whatever it is you get to make sure you get everything you ordered and condiments. Nothing like getting 12 piece supreme and getting home and having absolutely NO sauce for your 12 chicken tenders. And what do you do? The food is decent most of the time which is why they get one star. I have been multiple times and never once had an order turn out correct, or even close to it. For example I ordered Mac n cheese for a side, and they gave me a cup of gravy, not even mashed potatoes and gravy... just gravy. I've had decent meals from Bojangles in the past, but this last visit was hands down the worst fast food experience I've ever had. The chicken was dry and stale, our sides were only half of the container full (I got THREE bites of Mac & Cheese) and after asking for ketchup we were given ONE packet. The cashier was huffy and generally unpleasant, and it made the whole feel of the place hostile and unwelcoming. Havelock, NC. Oof...terrible. I normally like Bojangles everywhere else, but this location is NOT good. I asked for 2 Cajun Filet biscuits...got 2 sandwiches, with soggy and gross buns. My total and order summary wasn't given to me at the drive-through speaker, nor was it repeated at the collection window. By the time I got to the pickup window, I didn't even bother asking, because I was distracted by the non-speaking, unfriendly expediter. Asked for catchup and hot sauce, and she gave me just catchup. Asked again for hot sauce. Drove away, looked in the bag, and realized I had two disgusting-looking sandwiches instead of biscuits. If I wanted brown lettuce, yellow Mayo and orange-mush tomatoes, I would've asked for it. Uninterested employees who can't get a simple order right, plus gross, dried-out chicken are reason enough for me to avoid this place, going forward. What a waste of money. Never again. read more

I frequent Bojangles each and every opportunity presented when traveling south and this location is by far the best one I've visited! The drive thru line moved quickly, customer service was quick and friendly and my food was fantastic! The chicken was appropriately fresh, the fries were well seasoned and fresh brewed sweet tea was perfectly sweetened. I talked about this visit for the entire weekend I and look forward to another perfect visit to Bojangles in the near future. read more

We work hard for what money we have to spend on anything. i am continuously disappointed in the quality of food that comes out of the Havelock Bojangles. i keep giving them another chance. Worst service I have experienced. The manager was horrendous with attitude and then felt the need to gossip about us behind the counter where we could clearly hear them. First and ONLY time we will ever go there. I hope the extremely horrendous manager enjoys her evening since I the customer cleaned our table completely and left them cash since they also felt the need to express the idea we were trying to get free food when we offered to pay since there was a misunderstanding. Rounding up to 3 because the staff were pleasant & service was fast. Didn't realize this was a chain restaurant like KFC. Otherwise I would have gone to Smithfields down the road. Everyone we met & asked about the 2 restaurants kept saying Bojangles chicken was spicy. Being a spicy food fan that sold me. All I have to say is y'all need to eat more hot stuff. ;) Ordered the 3 piece tender dinner with a side of cole slaw & added dirty rice. Dirty rice was just ok, the biscuit was buttery deliciousness. Trash! This place has went downhill since I came back from being retired military. I ordered a Cajun filet and specifically told the child taking orders I don't want the grilled one I want the crispy version. Guess what I got grilled, I asked for a pulled pork bbq sandwich, the guy making the sandwich didn't put coleslaw in it. I told the child up front and the guy making the sandwich says he forgot to tell her he ran out. Seems they just don't care on their quality of food and how they make it. read more

This is the worst bojangles in this area. The chicken ALWAYS looks old and ever taste like it. No matter what time of day it is. I don't thing the change there oil and it ruins the frys as well. If your like me the fries are one of the reasons I go there. Rudest location ever. I was in line 15 minutes before close waiting to be taken care of with only 2 cars in front of me. I go to the speaker and no one answers so I pull up to go to the window, and they knew I was there, they lock the window and walk away. Are you kidding me? You can't have the decency to just tell me you aren't taking anymore orders, or idk put the customers first and take one last order? Obviously customers are not your top priority like they should be. The staff was nice and pleasant. Did have to wait about 30 Mins for my order but heard that they had to get chicken from Jacksonville as they have ran out. For the most part, the service was good, the restaurant needed a little cleaning but not too bad. They were busy for sure. Under the circumstances (Florence aftermath) at least they are one of the few places that are open. read more

Ate here at 730 on a Saturday night and they didn't have anything ready. The biscuits that they did have were cold and hard and the rice was dry and Luke warm at best. As a NC- born and bred connoisseur of all things fried, I can attest that the Havelock Bojangles has the crispiest chicken and the fluffiest biscuit around. I took a late visit today to this location for a nice hot meal. Staff was nice which is a plus but location don't scream more than two stars. After we received our food instead of sitting down to a hot meal, we receive a cold meal. The food taste like it had been sitting for hours before we arrived. As we were sitting down we notice people were also waiting a good 5-10 minutes before receiving their food. If a customer comes to a fast food restaurant their food should be hot and served fast. This is not the first time I've visit this location. I have received bad tomato on my sandwich here. This will be my last time making a visit here and will take my business somewhere else with this type of service. They need to remember to put themselves in customer shoes and what they expect when they visit a restaurant. read more

Gave it a three because food is usually fine,but have to add....went there on 2/07/16 pulled in line at drive thru with one car in front of me wondered what was taking so long,BTW ON MY 30 MIN.LUNCH BREAK. The car in front of me finally moves I'm next Noone resins so I drive up to the window someone is standing there and says"we are having a power outage sorry I drive off and wonder why in the hell was there no sign up letting people know this!
