I had never even heard of a ground steak sandwich before, but they had a booth at the festival, and I decided to give it a try. Let me just say--it was absolutely delicious! That fresh sliced tomato on top really took it to the next level. Since then, I make it a point to stop in whenever I'm back in town (I live out of state), and I've probably visited five times over the last few years. Each time, I've been met with warm, friendly service and that classic southern hospitality. The food is always fresh, comforting, and full of flavor. Beyond the ground steak sandwich, I've also tried their hot dogs and onion rings--both excellent. It's a great southern-style restaurant that keeps me coming back whenever I'm in the area.
