This location is trash and they are perfectly fine with you knowing it. Seriously concerning behavior from the employee Marcus. Completely unprofessional and an abominable representation of Bojangles brand, but a picture perfect representation of this location. I don't know if the man is just normally frazzled as his embedded personality trait, or has had multiple (i.e., every) bad days, but under no circumstances should you have an employee working the front counter who is yelling profanity at customers because he is confused. A few senior citizens were attempting to ask Marcus questions and he cussed each and every one of them out ("This Bojangles, aint sh*t free!" "The he*l you mean?!"). And I truly mean yelling, I could hear it as soon as I opened the door. He was so combative I was worried he was going to become physical with them. At least he was equal opportunity with the aggressiveness - male, female, white, black - everybody was getting it. I attempted to ask him a question about the menu and he did the same with me. The difference is I'm young, I have no problem putting an elderly man from the halfway house in his place. I specifically asked for a receipt so that I could fill out the survey and he flat out refused. If you're going to hire folks from a work-release program without social skills, perhaps put them in the kitchen? This place needs better customer service! I went inside around 6 pm and there was 3 people behind the counter. All made eye contact with me and never came over to the counter to take my order. I stood there for 20 minutes and then decided that maybe the drive through would be better. BIG mistake. They took my order and I then waited 30-35 more minutes to get my food. Food was also missing. This Bojangles is one of the only quick service spots, if not only restaurants on this stretch of Highway 138, so as I was headed back towards 20 from the Walnut Grove area I swung in to grab some tenders to eat on my drive back to the other side of the city...I quickly realized I should have just waited. Service - Lackluster and I am putting it nicely. While I was at the drive thru speaker, I had to repeat myself multiple times, not because she could not hear me, but because she asked me the same questions over and then would say "oh yeah, that's right" after each repeated answer. Then when I got to the window, she did not say one word to me. Not even including the total. Put her hand out for my card and then handed me my food and closed the window. Food was disappointing from start to finish. I got the (4) tender meal with fries and a sweet tea. The sweet tea was truly the only palatable part of the meal. The fries were gross, as they were cold and hard. The chicken tenders weren't much better, as they were crispy as expected but were also cold. I also asked for dipping sauce but it was left out of my box. Overall, just a terrible representation of Bojangles. I am very understanding of service concerns right now given the marketplace, but when it is simply non-existent and coupled with terrible food...it becomes hard to overlook. I've never been so angry, inconvenienced, and disrespected! I placed an order for a 20 piece w/2 mashed potatoes &gravy, Mac-n-cheese, fries, coleslaw & tea $57.75 (check 29343). When I got home, the mac-n-cheese, fries, and coleslaw were missing. I contacted the MOD (Roderick). He said he would give 2 orders of chicken, missing sides, & biscuits for the inconvenience. I asked him to add a chicken breast, he agreed. 7 minutes later, I had a missed call. I called back, he told me he "looked at the camera in the store", and the sides were provided. I reiterated to him what was received & told him to review the camera again & restated my order. I then told him that the fact that he called me back to question the validity of my complaint & accuracy of my order was unacceptable. He then lied and tried to cover it up by saying "I was just trying to find out the time of your order". Straight lies! Next, my friend went back to P/U the order. When she arrived, 30 minutes later, the incorrect chicken order, including the chicken breast was not here. She received 3 pieces of chicken & missing sides! NEVER should this happen! I expect to be fully reimbursed w/a call from the GM and I am posting this debacle on all forms of social media. Do NOT patronize this location... ever! read more

The worst experience of my life at any restaurant. I was in drive through waiting per usual. Line was around the building. When I finally reached to microphone to order, no one answered. After watching all the cars drive around and still no response cars began to honk for me to move. I assumed the call box wasn't working either so I drove around. To my surprise I was told at the window that I would not be able to order now. I asked why and explained....the cashier shut the window on me. I gestured for her to come to the window again and she said I should pull off before the police arrives. What?!!! No warning or conversation. Stunned I pulled forward and went inside to ask for the manager to get better understanding. To my surprise I was met by the manager who was on the phone with 911 emergency saying "please hurry she's now inside". I can't make this up. I had to be getting pulled. This has to be a joke. I began to cry and asked how could she do such when I've literally said nothing offensive and have no idea how or why this escalated! I was literally just sitting at the window with no reason/communication. Then all of a sudden 3 police cars show up as though I've robbed the place. The officer was so kind and stunned himself that after listening to the manager he asked them what they wanted to do and suggested they comp my food. The manager (the one that lied to 911) apologized and gave me my food for free. I wouldn't dare eat this food after you've insulted me to this extent. I threw it away (how can I trust to eat here now). I'm beyond livid and insulted. This could have gone totally left and it was a grave misuse of emergency services against an unsuspecting customer based on ego. The attitude in this place is disgusting. My ten year old daughter's favorite place to eat, I decided to stop in and was worried the parking lot was not jam packed, especially on a Sunday which going to a restaurant with the church folks in the bible belt, as akin to something out of hunger games. They assured me the church crew had come in earlier. As usual the chicken was delicious and I love the decor and location of the place, a nice scenic spot that invoke nostalgia. I always feel it's silly to review fast food restaurants, but I had never been to a Bojangles until this weekend. The fried chicken here is actually quite good for a fast food restaurant. The skin was crispy and the chicken was moist. I wasn't a fan of the Bojangles Special Sauce, it was a weird take on honey mustard mixed with peppers. Unfortunately they were out of ranch when I was there. It was kind of surprising, given that it was early in the day (11am-12pm). I just got the 5 piece chicken snack ($5) instead of the 5 piece chicken meal ($5.99, I think). The meal also comes with a biscuit, fries, and a large sweet tea. Food is always good....but just a heads up my family was there on Sunday at noonish and they offer free internet and some shifty guy was there using internet and after we stayed a little while to eat we discover he's running a side business of apparently selling joints to employees...while we ate a guy came out from back and got one and went right outside and smoked it and came back in like it was no big deal....be very careful visiting this location with kids just for safety sake. read more

Never had an issue here...until now. Usually the service is par. Not great. Not horrible. We walk up. The only ones in line. I place my order. 2 piece breast meal with 2 sides. Mac n cheese and potatoes and gravy. The young lady taking my order first ask if I want those in dark or white meat. I tell her white. She then calls over there mic system "two piece bright white meal". She gives me my total...a wrong total...but my total. I pay and wait...and wait...and wait. Having been the only person there and food already in warmers I figured it would be right up. 6 minutes later...partly due to the fact she didn't know what chicken breast looked like, I got my order for "here" in a to go box. Food was slightly above room temperature...and my gravy was missing from the potatoes. This restaurant has great service and staff but there was one major problem and that was the radio in-store was on a repeat of an ad that came on after the radio station went off.
