When checking in for our appointment, we were told there was not one and would need to wait our turn- 1 1/2 hours then 45 minutes for the oil change. I showed her the email appointment notice- date, time, confirmation. She said "that is not a guaranteed appointment, you still wait your turn in line. Appointments allow us to know how many people are planning to come, then we know how many technicians to schedule". There is no need to make an appointment at this business, plan to wait your turn. Took in my car to get fixed due to a tire pressure sensor fault , they told me they were gonna change it , they took off the message and the next day same thing but on the rear driver tire, so basically all they did was rotate the tires and not change out the sensor and thought I wouldn't notice , basically thinking I'm some kind of idiot . Horrible customer service the manager doesn't speak to you directly and leaves you talking to yourself , I do not recommend going here! NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BODY SHOP/COLLISON CENTER First, the body shop told me it would take 2-3 weeks maximum to fix my car. Ended up taking 2 months. Second, I had to call constantly because even though they said they would call me every Tuesday and Thursday, they rarely called me once a week. When they did call, it was the front desk and they didn't know anything and would have to talk to the man actually working on my car and he wasn't available most times. Today I went in for a service appointment to get my car stereo updated. I had booked it online 12 days earlier indicating what I needed. I drove in from San Antonio for this appointment and got up early to get there for the appointment. What I discovered when I arrived was that only one technician knows how to update the software and he didn't work today so there was nothing they could do I'd have to come in another time. First of all, 12 days notice is plenty of time to realize the person who needs to do the job isn't scheduled that day so either needs to be scheduled or the customer needs to be contacted to save them the trip. Secondly what a terrible business model to have a customer service position that only one person knows how to complete. How is the company supposed to function when that person is on vacation, off, or quits? Until this service department gets their act together and figures out how to take care of their customers I have no reason to give them my business. Well I contacted Boggus Ford to let them know about several issues they created when they worked on my 2013 F-150 STX - a wrench icon that was never there before they worked on it, an icon about skid assist also not there and my cruise control never worked after they had it. Now, every time I hit a speed bump the truck starts to sputter and will not accelerate. I have to stop, turn off the truck and restart it. Went in to the used car department because they reached out offering to buy my car. While the offer made was way less than favorable, the unprofessionalism turned me off even more. No one introduced themselves to me when I walked in. There was no professionalism in the manner of speaking I heard or was approached with. If the short, stalky guy was Boris Diaz, he could have fooled me because he didn't bother to introduce himself to me when he showed me the offer. And frankly, came across as if he didn't care to do business with me. It felt as if there's a quota to be made and my car was part of it. Additionally, I received 3 different text messages which I did not respond to. First, because the first two didn't tell me who was reaching out and from where. And the third one, while it mentioned the name of the dealership, they didn't bother to identify themselves. I find this to be very unprofessional and not a way to do business. If I wanted to buy from Boggus the interaction I had today at the used car location would have completely deterred me from buying from Boggus. Furthermore, I had two prayer cards from two funerals, as well as 2 business cards under the radio console. I found them on the floor on the driver's side. Extremely disappointed with Boggus Ford Customer Service and the Ford Raptor. My truck started having some AC problems where the air was not as cold. I took my truck to Boggus twice and both times the service department at Boggus said that everything seemed normal. I've had my truck for a year and I absolutely know the ac was not acting normal, I mean I was sweating while driving. Both of these times the truck was under the bumper to bumper warranty. I got tired of Boggus Ford telling me that everything was ok so I took it to an AC shop in McAllen and they fixed it within 20 minutes. The ac mechanic advised me that he only fixed it temporarily so I could at least be able to drive it in this extreme heat but I should take it to Boggus Ford and tell them specifically what was wrong with it. Maybe like that they'll do something about it. Unfortunately I drive to Brownsville on a daily basis so when I took the Raptor into Boggus Ford I was a few miles over the 36K mile make. Now they're telling me they have to ask Ford for guidance on the issue. It's been one month of me waiting. I traded in my C7 Corvette for 2018 Raptor about a year ago, biggest mistake I've done. I had just left another dealership, worst experience ever and horrible customer service. I was already in a horrible mood when I called Boggus, I was on the phone with Mayra and Miriana back and fourth trying to find their locationp..they were so helpful, giving me directions on finding the shop. The whole time while I gave them attitude ..whimpers as I was crying out of anger due to the other dealership (CC)they treated me kindly and genuinely. As soon as I arrived to the body shop both girls recognized me and helped me immediately. They took me to Manuel their Estimator, he personally went out of his way and told me I'll take this into my own hands and take care of you right away!! By the time i was getting ready to leave, Raul the body shop director greeted me and personally told me .. he would see to this matter personally and take care of me... They gave me royal treatment, they made me feel so much better because I truly felt they were there to HELP ME. It was the best experience EVER! The reason I only give one star is because we went last night around 7:30 p.m. and nobody came out to assist us. We waited about 15 minutes. Another couple showed up and they were immediately greeted by a salesman. I don't know if it's because how we were dressed compared to the way they were dressed or the color of their skin was lighter than ours but I don't think that is fair. I went inside to see if there were any salesmen and I indeed see three salesmen just standing around talking amongst themselves. Feeling unwanted we left and went to Spikes Ford (by that time it was already 8 p.m.) The salesmen at Spikes FORD were happy to help us. They have the worst Service department ever!!! Brought my truck in for service and it sat in the same spot for 4 days!!!! Not once did they call me to update me, I had to go up there everyday to find anything out. Then, they came up with the issue and they priced it like I was buying a car trying to bargain with me. They wanted to charge me $700, so I took my truck down the road to another dealership and they charged me half the price and it only took them a day to let me know what was wrong. Recently I went in to get my tires checked and the receptionist mentioned my state inspection was going to expire this month. She asked if I would like to take care of it since I was already there. I agreed as it would eliminate a trip on a later date. About an hour later I'm told my vehicle would not pass inspection because the window tint was too dark. I asked why the gentleman didn't come forth with that information prior to beginning the inspections as the windows were clearly visible in broad daylight. I was told he just didn't notice it. What kind of inspector doesn't notice the most obvious of items prior to beginning inspection???? I still had to pay for an inspection that did not happen. This is not the first time I have been dissatisfied with the service department at Bogus in McAllen. I will drive to Harlingen Bogus Ford to get service where I can deal with competent individuals. read more
