Being that Boerne is the halfway point, we stayed over in Boerne. I love how they had the space set up & suited to give the military vibes. We ordered a vanilla latte, caramel macchiato, french toast with vanilla custard, and the Dienger Breakfast Sandwich. The food was absolutely fantastic! One of the best brunch spots we've eaten at. The atmosphere is beautiful and perfect to have a conversation without having to shout, too. In addition, Raymond stopped by our table (we presume he's the GM or owner). He chatted with us for several minutes. He checked to make sure we were having a good experience and told us about the history of Dienger Trading Co. He obviously cares a lot about the food quality and the business. We are so impressed and can't wait to go back! Next time we'll buy some treats from the bakery, and I'll take more pictures.

Mediocre food + racial profiling = will not return…read more An old white man (owner? FHM? Idk) came over to our table after we had finished eating. He addressed the table making recommendations that the women visit the boutique next door. When it came time to address the men, he looked directly at the head of the table where one of my Hispanic family members sat (who has dark skin) and asked "Do you understand English?" before encouraging the "men to come back and look at their upcoming gun and watch collection. Not even to mention the food. Chicken and waffles? More like chicken and fryer grease. When I pushed to the side when I was finished eating is what slid off the chicken immediately after I put my fork on it. Total of about four bites of chicken for this meal, majority of the mass on top of the waffles was just grease from the fryer. Can't say I would order this again.
