I've been to many chiropractors before and since and NONE even come close to Dr. Paul's level. His experience and compassion alone are enough to make him elite in his field, but beyond that is something I can only describe as an innate ability to diagnose and treat what even the best doctors can miss. After a spinal fusion that didn't go well, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Paul offering complimentary care at my daughter's dojang in Beverly (he's also a black belt in taekwondo). I had lost hope in finding any relief after a specialist I respected completely dismissed my asking if my SI joint could be contributing to my pain. According to the specialist who was Boston Medical's top spine surgeon, "SI joints don't cause pain." (In his defense, this was 10 years ago and the only literature that led me to this question was new research being done in Japan-today The Mayo Clinic is performing SI fusions to address the issue) After just watching me walk a short distance and without my saying anything at all, Dr. Paul pointed right at the source of my pain and said, "Your SI joint is out of whack." If I wasn't in shock at hearing that I probably would've burst into tears of joy. When you've been through multiple doctors, multiple modalities and surgeries with no progress, no answers... I'm sure you can imagine how I felt. Unfortunately, Covid has moved us a thousand miles away from NH and I can't make the trip as easily. He takes as long as needed to address whatever issue is presented. He did a great job relieving my back pain and straightening out my posture. He does not push X-rays or extra treatments, only what is necessary. He works on the entire body, not just a specific part like the neck. I had several treatments to get straightened out, and now see him every 5 weeks to maintain health. The best part is his maintenance visits are reasonable. My health plan has a $45 co-pay. That is all Dr. Jones charges per visit. I've been to other chiropractors that charge more, do less, and stick you in a tiny stall to wait as they move people through like cattle. Not so Dr. Jones.
