It's under new ownership now and called Studio Tan III. I got an airbrush tan with Serena and at first I have to say I was really scared cause it looked darker than I wanted it to be but let me just tell you after I waited the 8 hours and showered this airbrush tan was 10/10! I will definitely be back. The tech was thorough, used drying powder (which is a tell-tale sign of a great and experienced airbrush tech) she was really nice and understanding too as I had to reschedule to a later appointment than I originally had. Update** The airbrush tan lasted way longer than I expected and it was so even on my hands and feet which are usually problem areas. read more

We bought a medium level tanning package (level three bed, which they have only one of)in preparation for our upcoming honeymoon. Upon entering the bed I noticed there were several bulbs out. I let the girl know, I returned the following week, bulb was still out, the following week same deal. I asked to move to an upgraded bed as it's been three weeks with no change. They told me it would cost $5. Now I'm a little annoyed but in a rush, I pay and enter the bed...it too has bulbs out. I make note of this to the girl and leave. The following week they upgrade me for free because the bed still has bulbs out and broken face fans which I forgot to mention in the beginning of this post. Guess what...that other bed has bulbs out too. I tell the girl in hopes they might fix one of the three beds I've used. The next week I come back..same bulbs still out. I tell a different girl who acts as if I've insulted the prestigious institution she works at by requesting a free upgrade to a bed that has all working bulbs. She tells me it takes time to get bulbs and I can't expect them to get it done in a day. I mention it's been weeks. She calls the manager the manager tells her to upgrade me once but "they can't keep doing this" I'm appalled and disappointed with this establishment. I plan to charge back as much as my card will allow..buyer beware you may not be getting what you paid for. read more

This was my first time tanning at this location. The place was very clean and there was no wait. Melissa was very knowledgeable about the difference between beds and lotion options. I received the results I expected. I decided this is my new place to tan so I purchased a package. Keep up the great customer service. read more

New to tanning. (Well, after a 20+ year hiatus) Was concerned about some negative reviews. HOGWASH! The staff is extremely helpful, explains all my options clearly and patiently, gives advice and recommendations when appropriate, and demonstrates proper bed operation if I'm on a new bed. All staff has been friendly and non-judgmental. I have NEVER waited for a room. I bought level 4, and I only assume you get what you pay for, but have no knowledge of beds in the 1-3 levels. Disregard any negative reviews you've read and give this place a try. You wont be disappointed! read more

this is my third year going to bodyworx and i am very pleased. i've been getting a rash on my arms where it touches the bed, and having to take medicine because it was looking like a allergic reaction. I believe it was from the cleaner they use on the bed. i went in today and told the girl kim at the front desk and she was the nicest worker i have met there. she was so understanding when i told her about my rash and she whipped down the bed with water and another cleaner. now i don't have the rash anymore, she also wrote a note down next to my name so whenever i go there the other receptionists will know. she was super nice and helpful! definitely recommend going there. read more

I went here once recently for a custom airbrush spray tan and I was so thrilled with the kind service I got with Maria!! She was so professional and I felt totally comfortable with her even though it was my first time. She was available last minute when I called the same day and didn't push a more expensive option nor did she over-do it with the spray layers. I looked great for a wedding the following day! I can't comment on the beds or other services, but if you need a spray tan for an event, I recommend this salon and ask for Maria!! Fast and reasonably priced too! Thank you! read more

Came in around 1:15 this past Saturday. The door was wide open, and no one was at the front desk. Two other customers were sitting waiting, who told me they had been waiting for 20 mins. I sat and waited myself for 25 minutes before I finally left. I don't know if the receptionist was out to lunch or just quit mid-shift, but a totally unattended store with the door wide open, leaving customers waiting is probably the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. read more

I have been to many tanning salons and never have gotten color like I do here. The diamond beds are the absolute best, the chili is my favorite I come out tan instantly. The place is absolutely spotless and the workers are so friendly and helpful. Definitely my favorite tanning salon! read more

1)I accidentally left my necklace on the counter. I went back within five minutes (obviously not enough time for another client to tan, but just enough for an employee to clean) and they told me they didn't see it/it's not there and they would contact me if they found it. One week later I see the girl at the front desk wearing it, confronted her and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. 2) Never did I ever sign something agreeing that my package will expire within a certain amount of time, when I called to see how many sessions I had left(knowing it was 7 or 8) the girl responded with "none". After some conversation she told me she could give me the same price as last time if I bought another 10 sessions. Why would I buy 10 sessions when I just lost out on at least 7 and you won't value any of them?? The girl was just plain nasty and unaccommodating. This place has nothing but complaints and I would not recommend. read more

Very unprofessional. My first session of a 3 session package was a bad experience and I kept having to get up out if the bed bc I was dying from heat. I've tanned for years at these kinds of places and never experience such poor customer svc and lousy equipment. Manager said I wouldn't have to pay for that session but then when I came in for that owed session, she changed her story. She wouldn't even call me to discuss it and the owner is "silent". Rip off and will prob be out of business soon. read more

Decent place I guess.. they only have 1 person at the desk so when that person is doing a spray tan you are sitting waiting... and the desk is vacant. Girls at the front desk are sweet though. The orbits fan has a piece is missing which seems dangerous, and the bed gets very hot, the bed looks really old. read more

Being tan is more than just a skin color, it's a lifestyle. Life is always better when you're tan! This is the best tanning salon in the area. I have never been to a salon with more darkening beds. Never a wait, friendly and informative staff, and you always leave TAN! Only thing better is the tropics (with a margarita of course) read more

I don't know when they started this new scam but the second time I went in there yesterday within the couple weeks with the same girl at the desk told me the Classic bed I wanted to do that someone just went in there and I would have to wait 20 minutes so I had to upgrade to a different bed. Both times no one was in that room! I do not do the Classic because it's cheaper, I use lower power beds for longer periods of time because I tan. All these other bed high power I burn for the night and then the color fades the next day. I don't really get the point of the scam but they think I'm stupid and I will not be going back there. I will be going to Glo which is actually closer to my house anyways read more

Their beds are so much weaker than beach bum and their prices are too high for what they have to offer. I don't see myself buying another package here. It's also very small so there is usually a wait. read more

Please for your own health and safety, do not tan here. I received a fungal infection that I've been struggling to get rid of for over a year now from how unsanitary these beds are. Not only did I get this infection, but also my cousin who was going tanning with me there as well. I do not reccommend this place at all. read more

They really deserve zero stars. Rude employees. They say they close at 10 pm but if you show up at 9:30 they say they can't take you because they're closed. When I tried to reach out to the manager or owner they ignored me. The employees are all b*tches. The beds are dirty. Disgusting. read more

I left my watch here once, never got it back...worst place to tan, so expensive, i can go on for hours.... i kept on trying to give this place another chance, but its so dirty, girls at the front desk are sloppy looking not dressed professional...but they are nice girls... it just doesn't make sense.. I've gone in almost every bed at this salon, it always has bulbs out, i don't understand how its still in business...spray tans are amazing though, i come to realize i will only go there for spray's now...ive tried to reach out to the "owner" but she doesn't know how to respond back.. also eye goggles should be free...
