The very nice lady had us smell around 400 different scents and choose the ones that appealed to us the most. Then we had to choose how we wanted it- in a room spray, body spray, Cologne , lotion or shampoo. I think there are others but I can't remember. We chose the body spray. For about $25 we had our own signature scented body spray! A month later I'm still loving it. What a fun gift this would make, or a fun place to take the teens for a few hours :) The only downside was, I think some of the scents were expired, as they were definitely not a good scent as they should've been, but I didn't mind since there were so many others to chose from :) we will be back!

When you need a serious costume (not one of the cheap ass ones in a bag from Halloween Express) this is your place. Here's how it works: 1. Plan ahead - visit well before your event and WAY ahead if you want a Halloween costume. There are a limited number of sizes, so if you show up the day of you may be disappointed. 2. Browse the extensive stock of costumes, many of which are housed in awesome vintage costume closets. It's all neatly organized by theme and there are helpful staffers if you can't find what you want. 3. Pay up. It's not cheap as rentals run $50-100 plus a deposit (this includes minor alterations, cleaning and pressing). Everything is handmade, so if you spill a whole bottle of Rumchata down the front of your Renaissance Wench costume, you'll be dinged for repairs. Other important facts: *it's kind of creepy in here. Like vintage carnival creepy. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I'm just saying. *There is a small room where "retired" costumes and accessories are for sale for next to nothing. *If you need true stage makeup they've got an extensive selection, plus lots of accessories. *Rachel's right - there's a definite musty smell going on. I have been to this store various times and tried various different products from them. I've tried…read moretheir bar soaps, their shower oils, their body butters, their shower steamers, their bath bombs, their hand soap, and their laundry detergent. They have many different unique scents that are very nice, and the staff is always helpful and very friendly. HOWEVER.. I have now purchased three separate products which, despite supposedly being crafted from all natural stuff and no chemicals or whatever, leave AWFUL stains in our bathtub due to strong dyes in use in them. A shower steamer and a bath bomb I bought, both colored yellow, both left separate oily, yellow rings around the tub that are extremely difficult to remove, even with scrubbing and elbow grease. A bar of soap I bought also has a hot pink dye in it which has dyed absolutely everything in the shower: the walls, the floor, my hands, the washcloth, the other bar of soap, the shelves.. This does not seem right for something that claims to be all natural. The dyes are too strong and they are literally ruining my bathroom. I don't like feeling like I can't try their products without having to factor in how I will clean them. This will have to change before I would spend more money here.

The scents are amazing and I love that they are all natural. I was offered a free laundry soap sample with my purchase. I really enjoyed the laundry soap so I returned to purchase more soap and scented dryer balls. The dryer balls don't hold the scent for very long. I know I can bring the, back to have them re-scented. They don't control any static so all my clothes come out of the dryer clinging to one another and with pet hair clinging. It's a typical humid time- July in Wisconsin. I can't imagine the static in January when it's dry outside. That's my only 'con' to the store and products.

I'm basing this review on things that I know would not change whether the experience was complementary or not, like the atmosphere, products offered and used. One thing to remember if you're going there for the first time - Pay attention when driving there. Regency Court is right off of Bluemound, but doesn't really look like a street; more like a parking lot entrance? Not a big deal, just knowing helps when following the gps. I had to turn around cuz I missed it. The building looks more like a condo/aparment building from the outside, but once you go in, it was gorgeous. Very nicely designed and elegantly decorated. My therapist was Alyssa, and she greeted me, very friendly. I was offered a drink - water, tea, coffee - which I didn't need, so we went right in. I loved walking through the inside; it's so pretty! And I didn't have to use it, but their bathrooms also looked so clean. Alyssa also gave me a bottle of water after the session, which I did need. All the products they used were Dermalogica, which coincidentally is the brand I am using presently. They even had the higher end of the line products. I love it when a salon doesn't skimp out on the products. I've been to places where they use very generic products, and though the facial is good, you know your facial isn't really top notch because the product that stays in your face wasn't great. The spa has been open for a year and has all the signs of staying around for a long time!
