There was 3 names ahead of me and I waited no longer than 10 minutes. Jabeen called me and another girl back into the cutest studio room (two salon chairs, B&W striped walls that reminded me of Paris) and started on me right away. She explained the process to me when I told her that I was a first timer and within 10 minutes I had the most beautifully sculpted, symmetric eyebrows! $13 credit card or $12 cash and I was out the door. I was particular when choosing my artist, as this is a face tattoo. Sabiha came recommended by a friend and after looking through her portfolio, I decided to book my appointment. This recommendation came with the warning that her prices had recently increased from $500 to $700 and that scheduling any follow-up appointments would be irritating. The price didn't concern me as I was willing to pay for perfection. On the day of my appointment, 4/4/22, Sabiha asked to push me back 40 minutes. I agreed and showed up at 2:40 pm. When I arrived, she was chatting with a cousin who had a studio across the hall. Her cousin left, and I got settled. I was nervous but excited as Sabiha talked me through the details. I explained that I don't usually wear make-up, and expressed how important it was that my brows looked meticulously natural. She threaded them and mapped out where they should be based on my facial structure. Sabiha stressed the importance of where I did and didn't want brow strokes as it was difficult to remove any once they had set. She explained how she measured everything twice, and that the right and left sides were perfectly positioned. I trusted her and agreed for her to proceed. The tattooing process was uncomfortable but hurt less than threading. While Sabiha tattooed my face, her cousin returned. To my surprise, she stayed for the remainder of my appointment, which bothered me only slightly until I realized the consequences of the distraction. When I was handed a mirror for the big reveal, my stomach dropped. Both brows were longer than what I thought was natural, my left brow was two hair strokes too far in, and when I raised them in shock... heaven forbid I should ever be surprised. Sabiha offered to add strokes to the right brow to try to mirror the inconsistencies which I forbade. I decided to let my eyebrows heal in hopes that the middle and tail portions would flake off in the process. We made a follow-up appointment, and I left feeling discouraged. Upon arriving home, I asked friends for their opinions and my fears were confirmed. I immediately grabbed a make-up remover wipe and proceeded to scratch out the first two hair strokes on my left brow. I'm thankful I did because I was successful in remedying this major mistake. After the two-week healing process, the tail of the left brow had successfully fallen off, but the right brow is still two strokes too long. Sabiha texted me about a week and a half before I was supposed to come in for my touch-up appointment asking to reschedule as she was going out of town. Frustrated by the inconvenience and nervous about more mistakes, I reluctantly rescheduled for the following week. She said she wanted me to be happy with my brows, and to let her know of any alterations. I explained how the only alteration I wanted was for her to remove the two tail strokes on the right brow. She said she would look into a product that would fade these strokes. I asked if this product was included in the $700, which she rejected stating, "I've never had anyone want to remove or not be happy with a certain stroke." My response: "Just because you haven't made a mistake before doesn't mean you shouldn't take full responsibility when you do. As you suggested, I will remedy the right brow on my own. I would like to cancel my appointment, as I do not wish to provide you with another opportunity to make a mistake you will not take responsibility for." The only response I received was an email confirming cancelation. There was no partial refund for services not performed. I sincerely wish I had gone elsewhere and not paid $700 towards her Range Rover payment for a stick-poke tattoo. In comparison, it only costs ~$500 to have a licensed nurse inject half a syringe of lip filler. I was looking for an artist but didn't realize it was a scam until it was too late.

Although I read the fine print incorrectly [offer was limited to the Glendale location, and I showed up at the Greenfield location], the manager and/or owner accepted the promotion without hesitation. Talk about quality customer service! The salon was trendy and very clean. The service was quick and well done. My eyebrows were sheer perfection!

During my most recent appointment, I left with my eyelid bleeding on one side. The technician didn't acknowledge it or offer an apology, which was uncomfortable and embarrassing. I feel the experience now depends heavily on the technician, as some of the newer staff seem less experienced. It's disappointing given how reliable this place used to be. They called the day before the appointment to make sure you knew not to take any type of blood thinners and proper cleaning of your face prior to your service. During the service you discuss shape and color of the brows you desire. Preet is very good on matching color. Threading of brows is completed prior to your service to assure your brows are lined up perfectly. It is scary at first. Because you feel like you lost some of your eyebrows but this is part of the process. Trust the process and it will be fine. The actual microblading is not a painless process. But I promise the pain you endure for the outline of the shape of the eyebrow is worth the discomfort. You can take small breaks, use squeeze balls and take a drink of water to stay relaxed. (I would suggest wearing headphones with relaxing music to help stay relaxed). The next process of filling in the brow outline is still micro blade process but a numbing cream is on before this process starts so the pain is dulled. This entire visit is an hour to hour and a half. Preet will give you care instructions. Follow her instructions to keep you from getting any infection. Remember these are small blade cuts on your eyebrows. No sweat or dirt should enter this area. Preet will explain the use of distilled water and cotton balls to clean area ...only dab wet cottonball... no scrubbing. Then apply Aquaphor 3 times a day by using a q tip. Never use your finger. Again keep germs away from eyebrows. At first you will be shocked at your huge eyebrows. Dark and huge. I made many jokes about myself and wore a baseball hat for two to three days. After 5 to 7 days you will start to really love what you see. It's amazing the work Preet does. At 6 weeks you will go back for a touch up. Fill in spots you notice need more. You can make them darker at that time if needed as well. Follow same after care instructions. Annually you will go in for a touch up. Enjoy your gorgeous brows! I scheduled a consultation with Preet to discuss microblading and other more permanent options, and added on a tinting session to walk out with something tangible. I had to go to the Tosa location to see her, which was a hike. She mentioned that she might start adding hours on the East side, which would be great, as she is the only one who performs the advanced services. The shop is pretty spare, but Preet explained all the safety techniques she uses to ensure a hygienic experience. She was friendly, thorough and unrushed. We talked procedures, colors, etc. I may pull the trigger eventually, but this is not a cheap service. I did get a tint done and my first threading. It went well. She didn't have the color I wanted for the "permanent" eyebrows, but I did walk out with more definition, a pleasing shape and a good overall feeling.

Previous review: They just increased prices for the second time, making me rethink continuing on the service. They also canceled on me TWICE now. Reliability is everything, and they aren't reliable. I also can't stand the stinging eyes, pinched eye lids, and inconvenience of it all. Most people are turning to "Lashify", to do their own lashes. I would suggest saving your money by doing the same.
