(Have you ever been to a spa where the Technician leaves the room while your facial masque is on- and says "I'll be back in a few minutes"? Well, Liz NEVER. DOES THAT! She stays in the room and uses that time for a hand or foot massage! That's the type of personal attention/pampering you can expect from Liz.) She made me extremely uncomfortable with the words and tone she chose to use during my massage. She said things (verbatim) like "Relax. Im not going to bite you" when she felt I apparently wasnt relaxing my shoulders enough. This was said twice for both shoulders. She seemed annoyed whenever I asked to change the amount of pressure she was using. She did not focus at all on my lower back, where I stated I had the most pain. The massage she did on my upper back was very interrupted and fair at best. The final straw for me was when she was getting agitated and annoyed at me that I wasnt moving my leg down slow enough in this apparent hip release thing she was trying to do. After the third time of me trying to do this she became louder with her tone and clearly irritated at me as she yelled "GO SLOWER" with my leg (no joke) and I had literal tears in my eyes from the way she was talking to me. I stopped the massage then and there at 60 min (was supposed to be 90). I didnt want her touching me anymore. Who wants to stop a massage? Clearly someone who is uncomfortable with the way they are being, touched, treated and talked too. There were red flags from the beginning that I wish I would have walked out even sooner. Helen was dumbfounded I wanted to leave and instead of asking how to make me more comfortable or even offering an apology-she gaslighted me to make me feel like I was the problem and she was doing nothing wrong. Hoping maybe after seeing this review they might change how they speak with their clients . Last night I attempted to book an appointment online and was allowed to see open appointment days and times for a stylist and select an appointment, but was then required to provide a credit card to ensure that I don't "no show or cancel too late" (20% of the service would be charged to my account if I no show). I thought to myself, "oh these poor small business owners have to do this because of inconsiderate people who schedule and then don't show". After I enter my credit card information I get a pop up message in red that tells me the stylist doesn't take online reservations!! What?! So, I leave a message for her on the website and send a text at the number provided. This morning I receive a message from the number that tells me she/they who ever is on the other end of the message that she/they is NOT accepting new clients. What?! No acknowledgement of the inaccurate information on her page on the website, no reassurance that my credit card information will be removed from the website and not used by whom ever. No apology for the inconvenience of my time wasted looking through all the businesses, searching for appointments, filling in forms, sending messages. No consideration for the fact that I will have to spend my valuable time calling my credit care company to cancel my card and update all the reputable businesses I use it for online!! So beware because the Image Studios website and the supposed small business owner has my credit card information and I have no appointment. Feeling like I have just been scammed! What a hassle! Where's my avenue to recoup compensation for my time? I think I am owed 20% of what I deem my time to be worth!!
