I won't lie, its been years since I've been into a lush store. I thought this one only expanded/relocated in the last two years to this new location and found out its been more like 4 years. They have so many great fresh products here, and I was so excited! If you ask nicely, they will make you samples of the products they have in store for you to try at home within your own routine. They take time and care to package them, label them and explain their benefits. I'm looking forward to going back and buying full size products now that I've figured out what fits me best! read more

I am a fan of any beauty product that is made naturally. I have found a few different products that really feel great on my face and do well for my face. Recently discovered their toothpaste and it's a game changer. Staff is always nice and genuinely seem excited to assist read more

Been going to lush for about a decade since their face masks are my favorite. Decided to stop in after work today, and as tired as I was, I left with a smile. Every time I go in, literally every single staff member is super friendly and helpful! Maggie and Benjamin helped me today; they were super kind, funny and well informed on the products they recommended! If you are going to Mayfair, Lush is a must-go! They never disappoint! read more

This place is a wonderful treat. Great customer service, samples available to see what works best for you, and unique quality products. While most things can be shipped it is so nice to have a local shop to smell/feel in person. Check it out! read more

Shout out to Kaitlyn! Lovely young lady helped me pick out a gift for my mother in law. Excellent customer service.

Been a fan of Lush for a long time since they were inside Macy's, and this store inside Mayfair Mall does not disappoint. My girlfriend loves treating herself to their products, so all I have to do is troll the little black pots she's saving to take back to Lush when I need to get her a gift! Store employees are super helpful, they'll demo you a product, and if you say you're just looking, they'll back off, too. What to know their favorite product? They'll tell you! I've never bought something here that didn't "work" or wasn't super appreciated. Magic Crystals is my girl's favorite scrub, she likes the coffee face cleanser, and any kind of colorful scented bath bomb. I like getting the Community Pot hand cream that gives money to different community organizations, and this store is fun to shop. read more

Frequent Lush shopper that spends lots of money there. Line to get inside the store is 50 deep, line has not moved in 20 mins. Can see inside the store and there only 2 cashiers and the checkout lines not moving either. Cant get in or out of the store. Ridiculous. Do better LUSH! Very expensive for a lack of customer service. read more

Whoop! They scored a larger location in the mall and it's Amazeballs. There's more room to move around, you can see all the products better, and it just looks slick as heck. I just spent my paycheck there and left covered in microglitter from the bombs, and I can't wait to go back read more

Yesterday was my first EVER visit to Lush, and it was amazing! This location is pretty small, so a Saturday visit around noon meant a lot of squeezing around without knocking displays over. I came in looking for shampoo and conditioner bars, as well as body soap. The staff was so polite and welcoming from the beginning. I spent quite a bit of time with Juliana, who tested different products with me and gave me so much helpful information - all while being so sweet and having the best customer service towards me and my husband. She even sent me home with a sample of a body butter bar to see if I liked it enough to buy it in the future! I left happy, relaxed, and with a shampoo bar, conditioner bar, containers for both, body soap, and my sample. All of which I couldn't stop bragging about. I'm looking forward to the next time I go to Lush. Management should truly be proud of how this location makes people feel great while effectively running the store. read more

Lush is now a free standing store in Mayfair! I went in the other night, browing for Christmas gifts. I immediately noticed the high sales associate to costumer ratio. And after stepping into the store, was overwhelmed - lots and lots of products and gift sets, floor to ceiling merchandise! Since I wasn't sure what I wanted to get (if anything) or what these products were (I've only shopped Lush a couple times, always for gifts), I definitely had the "I'm lost, help me" look on my face. Maia/Maya - not sure of the spelling - came to assist. He was incredibly helpful and asked all the right questions - who am I shopping for? What kind of products and smells does this person like? What price point am I looking at? (A+ for that question and not being busy about upselling!!!! I work part-time in retail, so I'm fully aware of selling tactics) He went over his favorite products, and helped me pick out 3 different fun and reasonably priced gifts. I also received several samples of various products to take home and try. This is definitely a great place to find fun and unique gifts for a hard-to-shop for person, either female or male. Most of their products are vegan and designed for sensitive skin, which also impressed me. I'm really enjoying my samples, and I will probably purchase something for myself in the future now that I've had the oppertunity to try the products at home. As with most sales associates, they are MORE than willing to assist. They all clearly love the brand and want you to have fun in the store and sample the products too. Based on my experience and after reading these other reviews, my best advise is to be clear with your wants and needs when you are approached by an associate to avoid the feeling of being pressured or badgered. read more

The 2 stars are only for lush amazing products that I usually got from other lush stores. This bad review actually for this specific store because of their careless employees. I got a facial cleanser which to be honest the lady was very helpful helping me choose what better for my skin. Yet she actually gave me an old patch that will expire in a month and I didn't notice it until i was home. So I went back to get a fresher patch and they gave me a newer one but also not so fresh (it is a month old which mean I only have 2 months to use it). I didn't mind though till I was home again and open the pot to find that more than third of the pot is empty! Why would they be careless enough to make two mistakes in a row! It's more than 30 min drive just to fix their mistakes! read more

Can't say I've taken a bath since I was probably 10 - but I received a bath bomb from this place as a gift and I'm hooked. Throw that thing in your bath and it makes your bath water smell awesome and turns it pretty colors. Some of them have flowers inside that open up and float around. My skin felt amazing afterwards and totally justified me going back to get a couple more. I will say that their product is pretty expensive. Bath bombs are around $7 each and you only use them once. I glanced at their hair product and it's around $40 for a decent sized bottle. However, this could be a cheap/fun gift option for your friends. read more

Not only does Lush have everything you'd possibly need to take care of your skin in a way that's better for the environment and the animals, but the staff here are purely wonderful! Shout out to Chloe! She did a great job showing me the face masks and explaining what each one is for. Keep up the great customer service!!!

I'm a huge fan of this store and the products. I love the staff and am loyal to a couple of the face creams that help my horribly dry face in the winter. I also enjoy the gift sets and body washes. The price points are a bit high, but they're a treat for me and I've found them to be worth the investment. 4 stars instead of 5 for me because...they desperately need to expand. Sometimes I just want to pop in for a refill of something and can't even get past the front to grab a product and check out. I hope they're able to pursue a larger space in the future. Pro tip - ask for a sample of something you've been meaning/wanting to try when checking out! Last time they sent me away with 3 small samples to check out at home. read more

Dear Lush, Have I told you lately that I love you? Have I told you there's no beauty store above you? Fill my bath with gladness Take away all my dryness Make me smell good that's what you do. Seriously I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love Lush. So glad I finally checked out the actual free standing store at Mayfair. FYI right now they have a BOGO event going on for anything they consider to be a holiday product, including many of their awesome gift sets. Also, did you know if you bring in 5 used pots of their products you get a free fresh face mask (which are amazing)? Also, did you know I love Lush products? Ok go. read more

First, I agree completely with everything said about their customer service - might work out great for the company, but it definitely encourages me to shop online, if I were to ever be satisfied with a single thing I've bought here. Unfortunately, I haven't. I love the marketing. I really love the no animal testing, the natural ingredients, the stickers they put on their products to show which real human made the product, and the cool fun ways that their products work. However.....they don't work. I went in to the Mayfair location with my mother for her birthday, we had heard awesome things about the Lemony Flutter Cuticle softener. It was about $16 for a little thing, and we both got one. We went to the mall right when it opened so lucky for us it wasn't insane in there, but unlucky for us, they all hounded us the whole time. They wanted to give Mom a foot bath and rub, which would have been a nice offer if they had ANY space for it, but they wanted her to sit in the entrance of the store....awkward. We were finally able to check out with our two items, but the hounding soon turned it into 5 or 6 items, and almost a dozen samples. Again I will reiterate that samples and demonstrations are wonderful and appreciated, but COME ON! It's like when you're at the Buckle and they keep handing you entire outfits over the door when you only came in for the one pair of jeans, that you happen to be trying on. As we were walking out we were stopped and listened to a worker talk about her failed attempts at political science and how this is the best job ever blah blah blah for almost 20 minutes. We literally had to keep taking steps backwards and then bolt. The products: waste. I have used the lemon cuticle cream on my knuckles and cuticles every single night since April, and notice less than no difference, in fact, they're dryer than before. Mom said the same thing, hers are cracking. Over $30 wasted on that. We were talked into these foot scrubs, which disintigrate and fizz all over the bathtub turning everything blue. Awful. Total bummer because this store rocks a super cool idea and some fun, innovative techniques, but I am overall sincerely unimpressed. Won't return. read more

Though tiny, this wonderful soap and beauty bar boutique is a dream to shop. Lush offers wonderful products to keep your skin soft, supple and smelling delicious. Everywhere you turn here there is a new product to test or sample - don't worry it's part of the culture here. I can't tell you how nice the staff is at the Mayfair mall location. You are greeted upon entering, offered help, and they are just so accomodating. I felt like they anticipated my every need. Waiting on line is a treat too - more samples to bring home. I have never seen so many people happy to wait. If you are in need of a special comforting gift for someone stop into Lush at Mayfair mall and they will be certain to provide you with what you need. read more

I love Lush. Everyone that I have come into contact with that works in this store was really friendly, super knowledgeable, and very helpful, and Lush makes many wonderful products including bath bombs, shampoo, and shower gel., Unfortunately, Sonic Death Monkey, my favorite of their products, has been discontinued, and that makes me sad. Fortunately, Audrey gave me a good lead for potentially finding it again as a Lush location in the UK makes small batches of product that I may be able to get my hands on, and Lush will be opening a store like that in the US maybe one day. I sure wish Sonic Death Monkey would be back forever soon. read more

IM IN LOVE! Do you have sensitive skin?! HEED MY CALL! I love the free standing store... SO Glad it has arrived. I know, the things are expensive.. but I believe (in this case) you pay for what you get! I know that the staff is always ready to help.. and that can bother some people, but every time Ive gone in and let them know i was just browsing, they left me alone, or offered me samples of things I was thinking about getting. My favorite products: 1. The Buffy Bar: Look no further.. GREAT for BUSY PARENTS (boom I can totally attest to that... with a screaming kid, no one has time for lotion and lets get real these WISCO winters can be BRUTAL on a girls skin).. NO NEED FOR LOTION.. the Shea butter and coconut (or some other amazing kind of nut) butter needs no introduction.. there are bits of ground up almonds and beans that exfoliate wonderfully.. only rinse off that and you are ready to go. I love. LOVE. 2. Sugar Lip Scrub: I mean... you can use this IN THE CAR! want to know why? Because. its. edible. I mean personally I stay away from the popcorn flavored one (barf) but the others are tasty and do a great job! 3. (To go with #2) THE LIP BALM! My fav is the HONEY TRAP.. smells delicious and is the perfect consistency.. you only need a little. Ive already made a perfect little lip groove in mine.. Talk to an employee, they can let you know the benefits and options with the other flavors.. some more shiny, etc. 4. (on the same note as #1) Ro's Argan- AGAIN, IM SORRY! BODY WASH WITH LOTION IN IT?! Sign me up!!!!!!!!!!!! What, you dont like saving time by killing two birds with one stone.. COMEON PEOPLE! Anyway.. I know.. the employees can be different.. but different is GOOD and LUSH products are different than your run of the mill cosmetics and soaps.. My favorite part is that they will let you take home a sample of something you are thinking about trying.. nothing like making sure you love something before spending $30 (and please note, totally worth it if its in your budget) on soap. read more

I really love the products! I only came to this store because where I'm from there isn't one close by. The fresh face masks can't be ordered online and I really really wanted to try one. The staff here is kind of annoying, and there where too many working at one time. It's already a small store they should maybe have only two people working at a time. They also are too pushy. Even if you express that you already know a lot about the products they still try and educate you about them. That was pretty annoying. So I felt a bit rushed to just get what I wanted and get out because I was so annoyed and they were trying to get my mom to buy stuff and she didn't even want anything. read more

Lush - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This is a very nice Lush location, with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the staff are overly attentive. It seems that every 3 minutes you have a staff member pestering you, and no matter how many times you tell them that you're fine on your own, they just keep coming back. I know that Lush's costumer service policy requires them to be so pushy, but it really wears at me and it negatively effects my shopping experience. Lush products are amazing and I will keep buying them, but visiting the store always makes me feel uncomfortable. read more

Oh how I LOVE Lush! Everything smells sooooo good and I love that it's all natural and that it's an environmentally aware company. It's a little on the expensive side but you're paying for great quality! Pro: They're great about showing you new products and letting you test stuff out in the store. They're also really great about giving you a sample of something to take home & try it out which I always appreciate, because who doesn't love to check out new products?! Con: Now that they moved into their own store (instead of being inside of Macy's) it's SO crowded it's insane. They need a store space that's at least twice the size of the one they currently have. If you try to go in there on a weekend when it's really busy you literally can't move around. Even just trying to "pop in" to get one or two items that you know you're looking for is a challenge and can be extremely frustrating. read more

Majority of products I've tried: 8 stars. Pushy customer service: -4 stars. I absolutely love most Lush products and I think if you are a sucker for smelly stuff you will too. Some of my favorite products that I've tried: Ro's argan skin conditioner (it's like hair conditioner for your skin) it has the most fantastic aroma that's like rose but not old-lady-ish. Lovely Jubblies, for your boobs and anything else that might sag. Smells like orange blossoms. The face scrub made with vodka...count me in. They have this massage bar that I guess is supposed to smell like peach but really smells like the clearest, brightest lemon. I use that on my hands and skin after a bath and it's lovely. The scrubby bar that you use in the bathtub. Be warned that one makes a mess but it has a very nice lavender smell. I have actually made my own soap and bath products in the past (and sold a fair amount of them) and really think the ingredients and techniques they are using (cold process soap, for example) are worth the money. I guess when you compare them to the huge glut of overpriced cosmetics crap on the market, they're not all that bad is what I'm saying. It is an indulgence for sure though. But holy hell the customer service. I've been in the stores (both the one in Macy's before it close and the standalone) and it's run the gamut from truly exuberant because they genuinely love the products (and I think most of them truly do) to omg please stop stalking me because no I'm not going to make your "7 bathbomb concoction" in my next bath are you nuts that would be a 40 dollar bath. I'm not 100% pleased to be asked to sign petitions in the store either. While I think it's very good and well to say "this company doesn't do animal testing" the simple fact is that they really don't have to at this point because the vast majority of the ingredients (probably all to be honest) have already been tested on animals by other large companies, and deemed GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA. Sorry, off of my soap box and back on topic. Either way, when I'm shopping, I don't want to have to read and sign some petition. When I sign something, I really want to know what it's all about, and the whole deep thinking thing interferes with the retail therapy moment I'm trying to have. More appropriate for online. Which is honestly probably where I'll do most of my shopping from here on out. I think most of the salespeople are wanting to be helpful (and I've never had anyone be unkind to me), it's just a bit much. Lush: I think the vibe you should be going for is a notch below the pestering you get at Bath and Body Works (or any other Limited brands shop for that matter), NOT above. Your product is great, let it sell itself. read more

Staff are amazingly helpful and welcoming. Products are expensive but high quality, good for the environment, and bought in bulk. I've been here multiple times and it's always great. Will return again many times. read more

Ok, there are very valid reasons as to why I am giving this particular Lush store one star. . First I have to admit what a huge fan I am of the company overall. I love almost all the products Lush cosmetics has. After discovering them a little over two years ago I have literally been obsessed. So here is why I am giving this store such a bad review. So before Lush was given its own store in Mayfair, they were located in Macy's. It a decent sized area and made it easy for customers to move about and explore. It wasn't until they completely got rid of the Macy's location and opened up their own store at the other end of the mall. I was super excited for Lush for opening up their own personal store and what not. I was excited until I had actually seen the store. The store is super cramped and the store seems packed when there are 5+ people in it. It makes me wonder why they constantly over-staff with such a small store? So let's get to the one thing that aggravates me the most about this location. The employees, that's right, the employees. The first few experiences I had visiting Lush at Mayfair was great. Only because I was new to the products and I liked getting demonstrations of the products. However, now most of the employees know exactly who I am and are aware I am always up to par on what all the products do and when they were released and etc. That obviously doesn't hold them back from pestering me and trying to push some product in my face. Seriously, back off! I don't know why anyone would EVER train employees to be so pushy. It has gotten to the point where I won't even enter the store anymore. I can't stand this kind of outrageous and obnoxious behavior. My sister and I have decided it'd be best just to order the products online from now on. I'd rather wait a few extra days then willingly get pestered by these overly persistent employees. read more

I've been a Lush fan for the past few years. Love, love, love Lush. Great products, and the stores always smell heavenly. I was super excited to see that Lush got its own store outside its presence in Mayfair Macy's and finally got the chance to stop in this weekend. My only complaint is that this store is WAY too small to have 8 employees stretched from the doorway to the register. It seems a trend with the Lush USA stores to have overzealous customer service (Lush UK? Much more mellow). I'm a grown-up. I don't need another adult to wash my hands for me - seriously. Super friendly staff, but way overwhelming for the non-raging-extrovert customer. Fortunately, the products make up for the awkwardness. I recommend the Rock Star soap, any of the bath bombs, and the hand cream. Awesome stuff. read more

I already loved Lush before I went here but my favorite part of shopping there are the employees. Since I'm a regular, many of the employees recognize me and my family. They remember what products I like and know what to suggest. I don't ever feel like I'm being creeped on like other reviews say, if I say I'm only there for one thing, that's what I leave with! Remember, you can always say no! read more

I've given Lush another chance. Their employees are helpful and friendly but not overboard. I'm addicted to Aramaco and Caca Brun Henna. I also love their Hair Custard, Queen Bee bar for styling, bubble gum lip scrub and lipstick. Don't forget to ask for free samples. Most any bar or cream can be sampled. They are getting better with ingredients and using less 'safe alternative' ingredients. read more

Lush, I love you.. Seriously. You're a bright star in a sea of crappy body and skin care. I can't wait to visit you again REAL soon. You also have a wonderful, knowledgeable staff.. FTW!!!! read more

Love Lush! Although it seems to be the trend, regardless of what country I am in, that Lush stores are le tiny (that's French for tiny)! Tiny in a way that doesn't allow for easy movement without the fear of taking out an entire display. C'est la vie. Anyway, customer service is pretty good... not as good as my favourite location in Edinburgh, but pretty good. In fact, it was so good, I got roped into buying two more items than I came in for. They sold me on Ultrabland and also the Lavender Toner. Both are wonderful and I absolutely love Mask of Magnaminty... a great pick me up in the morning. I also love their bath bombs! I also love that you can take the containers back as well! So glad I found one in the area, I'd be lost without it. read more

Love this location! Last time I was in, I had a great chat with some of the employees about the charities they were working with. Everyone was quick to make suggestions and share favorite products without being pushy or overly attentive. I also want to give them a shout out because my fiance went in recently to get a bath bomb to surprise me with. The employees were extremely helpful and helped him to choose one that I absolutely LOVED. They know their stuff! read more

I cannot say enough good things about LUSH. They are an awesomely sustainable organization with great products. I recently got hooked after happening upon them in Mayfair Mall. I really enjoyed their hands on customer service, if you go in you will get an arm massage. :-) You go in with a foggy idea about what you want and they will direct you to the right product. Quick side note, I had Lexi help me today and she was amazing and really patient with my fickle taste. As noted in other reviews it is a little pricey, but totally worth it when you think of the great product and the mission of the company. read more

love lush. i'm so happy to be able to stop into the shop, rather than only order online. the employees are all incredibly helpful and sweet.

I used to be a huge Lush fanatic but my budget hasn't allowed me to stay one lately. However, the prices of their fancy exotic cosmetics shouldn't reflect on this shop in particular, which is lovely! The only one in Wisconsin as far as I know, it has many cute and creative displays for their product, including lazy susans full of bubble bath balls, and a giant table of soaps that look more like fancy cheeses or deli meats! Definitely draws the eye if you're new to the brand. Also, their employees are very friendly and helpful, more than willing to help customize a skin or hair care regimen to suit your needs, and are very generous with free samples for those among us hesitant to drop $20 on a hair conditioner. :) Sometimes the shop girls are bubbly to the point of being kind of overwhelming, but that could just be me having a bad day (and I do have those a lot when I end up at the mall). Overall, worth a look (and a smell, and a touch, they let you try everything!) especially if you're looking for something to spice up your bath-time routine! read more

I am shocked how much I like this store and the often strange, yet pleasantly helpful staff. I shop here regularly for gifts and my friends and family are so glad that I did.
