I want to preface this review by saying this happened a little over a year ago in early 2025. I…read moredebated posting about it at the time, but the experience has stuck with me, and I think people in the area should know about it.
I came in later in the evening after putting my kids to bed. Since this place is right down the street from where we live, I was really hoping to find a convenient place for a good massage that I could return to regularly.
When I walked into the lobby, a woman came out of one of the rooms looking like she may have been sleeping or had just had a very long day. Her makeup was a little runny, and she was very short and to the point. She told me the price, I agreed, and then she asked me to pay upfront. I had never been asked to pay for a massage before receiving the service, but I paid. She escorted me into the room and left without really saying anything.
A few minutes later she came back and started the massage. To be fair, the massage itself was actually pretty good at first. At one point, however, she straddled my back/upper legs and began making what sounded like moaning noises. It struck me as strange, but I didn't think too much of it at the time.
When she asked me to turn over, though, the situation crossed a line. She touched me inappropriately and asked if I wanted "this one" massaged too. I was shocked and immediately told her no. I said she could massage my feet instead, and she became visibly irritated and told me, "This is not a foot massage place."
From that point forward, the entire experience was incredibly awkward. She finished by working on my shoulders and neck while I was on my back, but it was obvious she was unhappy that I had rejected her advance. At that point I was mostly trying to process how bizarre the whole situation was--and admittedly, trying not to laugh, thinking about telling this story to my wife.
When the massage ended, she left and I started getting dressed. Before I had even finished, she stormed back into the room, flipped the lights on bright and began stripping the sheets off the table while I was still getting dressed. She was visibly upset.
The massage was $70, and I put $15 on the table as a tip. She immediately told me, "Tip is $20." At that point I was beyond shocked. I gave her the $20 and left.
I have never been back, and whenever this place has come up in conversation, I've shared my experience. It's unfortunate because I would have loved to have a reputable massage place so close to home. Instead, the entire experience left me extremely uncomfortable and feeling that some very inappropriate boundaries had been crossed. It's a shame to have something like this happening in our community.
