It's like a mass factory with a handful of rooms and 3-5 massage tables in each room so there was a stranger getting massaged a few feet away. Honestly the table was a little bit hard and my neck afterwards was more stiff than it was before the massage, so it wasn't very comfortable. The woman who massaged me spoke hardly any English and she didn't give me a great massage, half the time she was just pressing against my body, sometimes just pressing against my bones. I've been to other Asian massage/reflexology places where I've received a much better massage, so it's likely just hit or miss based on who you get, but this place definitely charged more than the other places I've gone to. For $60 cash after tip for a mediocre massage that I also had to wait 45 minutes for, it just isn't worth it in my opinion. Disappointed in this experience.

She walked side by side the whole time while she directed me to the restroom all the while touching my arm regularly. I've never met her so a little space would be nice. I thought the signature facial would be the same no matter who did it but alas Chau's version was not what I'm used to. There was no steaming, and a lot more face and décolleté massage. I'm used to facials where there was product after product applied. This was definitely heavy on just the massage part. There was no introduction to the products used or what to expect either. At one point a stinging, smelly fermented product was applied that made my nose and eyes sting. A warning would be appreciated or even an option to omit since the product smelled rancid like old yeast. She was also pretty hasty with application of product and I think some product got into my eye as my eyes were irritated afterwards. The massage was also pretty strong (so not as relaxing) and she used a device to apply product that felt like it had a sharp edge that had me tense the whole time that she'd nick something. Usually after a facial at Yuan my face is feeling light but I didn't have the same lightness this time. Even when I was walking out her hand was on my arm touching me. If you're going for a facial I would not recommend Chau.
