You cannot put a price on self-esteem! I think it has been about 12 weeks now since my lipo. I had my abdominals and love handles done, and some back. I am SO happy with the results. I still cannot believe I have a flat stomach. I check every morning in the mirror and still cannot believe its me. I've never had a flat stomach and struggled with it all my life. This was really my first surgical anything. I was terrified. TERRIFIED. But I had been wanting to do it for so long and Dr. Ngo made me feel so comfortable and was completely honest with what to expect, so I scheduled it. Dr. Ngo and her staff are wonderful and I think I would have chickened out with anyone else. It really was a lot of fun visiting them. (you go back for check-ups). They explained everything completely. And I mean everything, from what to do before the procedure to what to expect right after the procedure and in the weeks following. Information overload. Everything I experienced had been foretold. I'll be honest, wearing that body garment wasn't fun, especially in the beginning, trying to get it on and off, and for the first couple days, the soreness, ugh. I'm a horrible patient , big baby with soreness. :) Anyways, it should be noted that it was soreness, not pain. I couldn't believe it myself when they described what it would be like, but, there it was, soreness, very sore!, but not painful. The procedure itself was, of course, not as bad as I had imagined. You are given a little relaxant, but you are completely awake through the entire process. Dr. Ngo and her assistant talk with you and laugh during the procedure. At one point, she indicated ".. the hard part is over.." and I was like, really? that was the worst? and it wasn't anything, really. Clearly, she knows what she's doing and is highly skilled. Of course, they use that numbing agent I think. Immediately following, I actually went home and worked for a couple hours from home. Had a conference call. then, as predicted, got extremely tired, and I rested. Dr. Ngo called to check and everything was going according to plan; being tired, fluid leaking into bandages, etc. honestly, I'm glad I had the weekend to adjust before having to go back to work, but I did not miss any work at all. I was lucky enough to be able to work from home during the beginning of the first week, but was back in the office at the end of the week. No one realized I had the procedure. I think my swelling peaked at week two, then it started to settle. With the swelling, you get anxious, wanting to see immediate flat stomach results, but you have to let the swelling go down. When I had the procedure, I was living in Anaheim CA. My company has since relocated me back east, so I need to get back so I can do a final before and after photo compare. But, I'll tell you what, I don't think I even need to see them. I am so much happier and feel great, AND, for the first time, I took off my shirt in front of people! Imagine that. Can't believe it myself. I just checked the mirror, yea, that's me with the flat stomach and slim jeans and no muffin top! I even got a compliment in my t-shirt, that I had a nice shape. ME! I got the compliment. Dr. Ngo, thank you!! I never thought you would have made this much of an impact in my life. You and your staff are great. Hello to all of you! Thanks. Bob P.S. Oh, so yes, I would recommend Dr. Ngo and staff over, and over, and over. read more

I am so happy with my new body !! Dr. Ngo is amazing she helped me get back on track with my body sculpting!!

I had a consultation and it made me feel uncomfortable. She was pushy and also called me chubby, then proceeded to try and get me to get the loan approved right then in there at the consultation for me to get this big lipo procedure which was way more than I even asked for... I realized it wasn't what I wanted and left. So glad I did.... read more

It's been about 4 years and really didn't get the nerve up to write this, I went in for consultation for lipo on arms, hips and left bleeding and in shock She gave me a Valium told me to sit on their chair table and started almost 2 hours later and so much pain she was done said sit up and she and receptionist had squeezed me into a tight compression garment and pit these sanitary napkins on the sights where the holes were made. She showed me she took 5 liters of fat out and said I needed more but she couldn't legally do more. I was in shock she said go on to waiting room and the receptionist will give you a smoothie. As I was sitting in reception area blood and fluid was gushing out all over my clothes I burst out crying and told receptionist she gave me a pad to sit on in car and said I could leave come back in a month. Worst dr bedside manner rude and arrogant. Didn't go back horrifying experience had to go to urgent care that night for electrolytes. Had to go for lymphatic massage because so much scar tissue. Please if this saves one person from going through what I went through I will be happy. read more

Be prepared for this lady to be brutally honest. I came In For Botox and fillers but decided I should ask her about my options on possibly lipo in the near future. She refused to do any work on me claiming that I was "too plump" . I explained to her that I had recently gained a lot of weight and I had recently been diagnosed with PCOS which that alone was putting myself in a very vulnerable position. She tore me apart. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I walked out of there being told to lose more weight. ( which I'm not disagreeing, I did tell her I was currently dieting) the overall experience was terrible. She kept getting calls so that little device on her wrist kept going off all throughout the consultation. I went in for Botox and walked out with some half have it, weight loss advice. She said and I quote " I look at you, and all I see is carbs" lol .. I wasn't going to go in on what she looked like. Just know this, no matter what degree you think you may have mastered, in an industry like this, common sense and empathy will go a long way. Not everyone wants to have a typical straight line body believe it or not doc, curvy is in. It's a good thing I don't lack confidence and I can laugh about this. But the overall experience was sickening. I did show up late, for which I gave them a heads up. Perhaps she was being a bit passive aggressive towards me for that reason. All you saw is carbs and all I saw in front of me was, skipped meals, lack of empathy,an eating disorder, and shameless passive aggressive remarks. This consultation wasn't free either! It was a waste of my time. You're not the only one made of money doc. read more

I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Ngo is amazing. She is with you all the way. From the beginning of your consultation and assessment to the follow-ups after your procedures. She takes the time to call you and follow up on your aftercare, not that many Providers do this. They usually have their assistants do the follow-up. She also picks up the phone whenever you have questions or concerns. I'm very impressed with her professionalism and dedication to the care of her patients. You will be in great hands. She did my quotations and treatment evaluation, not an assistant or treatment coordinator, which to me has more validation because she is discussing the treatment with you and going over all your options. Her fees are way more affordable than other places I compared. She also has a healthy meal plan with different options to help you sustain your results. She works very diligently to achieve the results you want. I would give her a 5+ stars read more

I love this doctor. Isn't after your money like most. She is honest and realistic. I am going to be a lifelong customer!

At body envy you will find the most personable staff!! Dr. Ngo is truly invested in helping her clients look and feel better. She is by far the most honest doctor i have ever met, she was not affraid to talk about uncomfortable truths and realistic expectations. If she cannot help you achieve your expectations she will let you know beforehand and will not try to convince you on expensive treatments or procedures that will not help. Different than doctors working with big companies, her priority is not to meet a monthly quota, she runs her business the ethical way. read more

Dr.Ngo and Virgina are the best. My experience was great and I feel amazing. The procedure took a few hours and was able to go to work on Monday. A little discomfort the next day but no big deal. Was up and walking, however, I mostly cleared my schedule so I can rest. Dr.Ngo did follow up with me when I was home to make sure everything was ok and if I had questions. She is very welcoming and approachable which was much appreciated. I saw my before and after pictures and my mouth just dropped, couldn't believe it. Extremely satisfied, I definitely recommend body envi. read more

Very happy with my outcome. I had laser lipo on my arms. Dr. Ngo is awesome. Answered all my questions. Reassured me that everything was going to be fine. And it was. Very professional & friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Ngo personally called me after my procedure to see how I was doing. Her nurse called me as well. I personally recommend Dr. Ngo if this is the route you decide is best for you. Thank you Dr. Ngo read more

Businesses often get written up when people are disappointed and not so often when people are pleased. For this reason I wanted to get online and start posting reviews when I am particularly happy. I have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Ngo. She is honest, friendly and puts me at ease right away. Equally as important is that I never feel rushed when I am with her. The first time I went to Body Envi, I told Dr. Ngo what procedures I was interested in (Botox, Juvederm and a chemical peel) and we spent quite a bit of time discussing them. She is extremely knowledgeable as she clearly explained the benefits, side effects and expected results for everything. She was very careful and conservative with the procedures. I am pretty fussy about Botox - I don't want it to look like I have any. Dr. Ngo puts in just enough to plump up the lines that I have, but not freeze my face (which is really important to me). I've also had an amazing chemical peel at Body Envi. Dr. Ngo is honest and will suggest exactly what you need to look and feel your best. Whenever I leave Body Envi, I feel and and look years younger! Dr. Ngo is amazing! read more

My procedure was transformative! I now have my body back - like it was prior to 2 kids and menopause. Dr. Ngo is amazing!!! She was so warm and kind at the consultation appt. She told me she could remove that stubborn fat that I had been trying desperately to losing at the gym. The cost seemed reasonable compared to 2 yrs of working with a personal trainer to lose my belly fat. The procedure itself was not painful, but sometimes uncomfortable. Dr.Ngo does not put her patients under so she can reposition each patient during the procedure to see the natural contour of the body. The healing was remarkable, slight bleeding the same day, spotting the second day and zero after that. Tylenol was all that was needed to treat the pain. Back to work the same week. 30 days after the procedure I had a new body. Fantastic results! read more

she is gynecologist but how she can claim she is plastic surgeon without having appropriate training and knowledge? I visited her once, there was no receptionist. she sat with me for 45 minutes to discuss liposuction and it was mostly about money. she was very aggressive to get me sign up and schedule immediately. I didn't feel comfortable to have my procedure done in an office that Doctor and receptionist were the same people and she answered calls to her office during my visit. when I came home I did some research and didn't feel comfortable to work with a gynecologist who claims to be a plastic surgeon and very money motivated.. read more

I have nothing bad to say about Body Envy. I've gone here twice and have received nothing but excellent service from the receptionist to the doctor. The procedure is in a very clean environment and I achieved the look I was hoping for. The doctor is also working with me on my weight loss and how to lose the excess fat. read more

I started my body sculpting last Jan. 2012 and have been back two more times. The procedures were least invasive with the greatest outcome. My body was smoothed out and even. I did not experience any cave ins, infections, or severe lasting pain. The staff is very life giving and deserve to work with the public. The procedure was affordable and fair. My relationship with Dr. NGO will probably remain life long. I will seek out Dr. NGO for all of my aesthetic needs. I feel great and very comfortable in my body. Dr NGO is truly an artist and she will take care of you I promise. read more

It has been a little over 3 months since I had my liposuction at Body Envy. I waited on purpose to write a review because I wanted to see the complete end results in order to give a more accurate review of my procedure......let me tell you how amazing I look, WOW! I look great, the results are amazing. I used to look at before and after pictures of Lipo procedures and be super suspicious of them, but let me tell you that I no longer am after seeing my own results. Dr. Ngo was amazing, I can't say enough good things about her. I have referred other friends to her now and they are just as pleased as I am. I had lipo of my inner/outter thighs, stomach, flanks, and back. My procedure was pretty extensive and it took about a month for me to finally feel myself again, but it was so worth it. This is my second procedure with Dr. Ngo. I had some fillers done last November (2012) on my laugh lines and right where I have dark circles in my eyes, the results? just as great as my Lipo. My friends couldn't figure out why I looked so rested and rejuvenized. I highly recommend Body Envy. The attention you will get is unmatched period. I will try to post some before and after pictures so you can see my actual results (if I can figure out how to do it on yelp.com). I am so excited and I can't believe I waited so long to do it. I hope my experience helps you. I searched high and low when I was trying to choose the right Doctor for my procedure, I had spent many hours in a period of at least 2 years in front of a computer trying to decided who my Doctor should be, and it paid off when I found and picked Doctor Ngo at Body Envy. read more

The staff was very friendly. I felt welcomed from the minute I walked in. After the births of my own two kids and then being a sergeant for my sister, my mid section was destroyed, so I thought. After doing lipo laser on my stomach and waist sides, I am a new person. I have had amazing results!!! I highly recommend Body Envi read more

This was my second foray into the land of fat removal, having had traditional liposuction at least twenty years ago. Compared to my first experience, this was a stroll through the park. After leaving Dr. Ngo's office, following my procedure, I ran tons of errands, including grocery shopping. It wasn't until I got home that evening that I listened to Dr. Ngo's message on my cell phone saying that she hoped I was resting. I am in my mid-sixties and this procedure, coupled with Dr. Ngo's skill, left me feeling like I would almost any other day of the week. Day three was a peak for swelling (a minor amount) but even that only caused me to slow down for a couple of hours. Different people will get varying results, of course; however, this has gone as anticipated and I am absolutely thrilled with my results in week two. Beyond the great results we all anticipate with a treatment of this sort, my highest praise goes to Dr. Ngo and her warm, friendly and capable staff. Dr. Ngo has perfected the art of being thorough but not overly invasive. She has an artist's practiced eye when she sculpts. One of my bugaboos in life are doctors who may get the job done but leave the patient's body feeling like it has been assaulted. Dr. Ngo is very tuned into this and she takes "First, do no harm" to a new level. If I ever feel like addressing any other part of my body, you will find me at her office and nowhere else. It would be appropriate to offer her SIX stars. Do yourself a favor and choose Body Envi. I'm very happy that I did. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about Body Envi, Doctor Ngo and her staff. She was so welcoming and positive toward everything. I got both my sides reduced since I had love handles that I couldn't get rid of. I tried everything to get rid of them, diets, extreme exercise, and dieting pills but nothing helped. My mom got the same procedure as I did and recommended that I get it too. This was my first time doing anything like this so it was painful for me and I didn't no what to expect. But obviously everyone has different pain tolerances and will handle it differently. The staff was very nice to me and gave me a movie to watch while the procedure was being done. The procedure was over before the movie finished! After, I slept and relaxed the whole week. The staff called me and made sure I was doing well and taking it easy. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who is insecure about their body. It was worth the recovery process and I am so happy about my after body! I finally feel comfortable in a bathing suit and so happy I did the procedure. I loved Dr. Ngo and all her staff! I feel at home every single time I go there. Dr. Ngo knows how to sculpt your body into what you want it to be and not over doing. I would give her 10 stars if I could! She is amazing and there is no other doctor I would go to. read more

"This procedure will change your life." One of the first statements Dr. Ngo made when I met her the first time at my consultation. 6 weeks and 15 lbs less later I remember her words and now they've become my reality. She was so honest when I showed her the 3 areas I was interested in having laser liposuction on. Since I was a child I struggled with my weight and my horrible inner thigh area. As I got older and lost weight I still had the issue with an almost permanent rash from my legs rubbing together...I was embarrassed to wear shorts and physically uncomfortable even at my lowest weight of 112 lbs. Dr. Ngo took one look at my legs and knew right away that was my genetic problem area that she could fix for me. She also started me on a new eating plan that has allowed me to lose 15 lbs of excess fat. Losing that fat has taken care of my arms which I was interested in having laser lipo on, with Dr. Ngo's honest opinion, she knew if I lost fat I wouldn't need the procedure anywhere except my genetically large legs. I love how she doesn't pressure you to buy products, shakes, or pills. The eating plan is simple and straight forward, I cook all my own food or eat lean cuisines. I weigh in every 2 weeks and discuss my goals with Dr. Ngo and this was all included with the laser procedure! She goes above and beyond with her patients because she truly cares, called me at night after my procedure and told me to call her cell anytime if I needed anything, even at night after business hours! Not only is my rash gone I now have an inner thigh gap, something I dreamed of always but could have never achieved on my own due to genetics. Thanks Body Envi- Dr. Ahn Ngo and Virginia (office medical assistant). read more
