My wife has an increasing appreciation for Indian attire, and the woman who owns this place got to know her, and made excellent recommendations for me, for Hanukkah presents. She also sells pretty jewelry which complements the clothing well. You can buy complete outfits or separates. The owner assured me that if there was any problem with the clothes I bought from her, I could exchange or return them when she comes back in the Spring, and I have no doubt that is true. Old-fashioned customer service is practiced here.

When a cashier finally became available, she continued her conversation with a coworker and then walked away without assisting me. I had no choice but to leave without making my purchase. This level of inattentiveness is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope management addresses the lack of basic customer service standards here.

The cashier who said she could do it, could not give me the balance, so I paid what was on the last statement...to find out that Kohl's was tacking $43 a month on my account (on which I thought there was no balance). In 6 months, the interest and fees equaled over 50% more than the initial purchase - which would be over 100% in a year. I am left thinking that Kohl's is a loan shark business, disguised as a department store.

My Matron of Honor and I were so offended by her behavior that we left the store and waited for my Mom in the car.
