These containers come in various sizes for commercial and industrial types of work. I may also add that they have smaller containers for residential use. Taking into consideration the amount of tools on construction sites, much less things around the house which need to be stored, A-Verdi definitely has it's benefits.

They have all kinds of pumpkins (edible heirlooms and traditional orange in all shapes and sizes), plus gourds and minis, mums, corn stalks and hay bales, perfect for decorating (and GREAT prices, at $7 for a full-sized hay bale and $20 for 4 gorgeous heirloom pumpkins). Last year I bought 4 heirlooms and used them inside for my seasonal display and they lasted through winter, at which point I processed them all for soup! For families, they have games and play areas, a corn maze, a petting zoo, rides, and an apple blaster where you shoot apples at targets (more fun than it probably sounds!). The apple blaster is also perfect for a friendly competition between friends... Inside they have lots of fall themed decorations available for purchase, plus food that includes fresh apple cider donuts (available as singles, 6 packs and dozens) and local cider, coffee, hot cocoa, fresh popcorn, chili dogs and cookies. We ate a chili dog (good sized red hot with a nice meaty chili and red bean topping), pumpkin coffee, 6 donuts and popcorn while walking around picking our pumpkins, and were very pleased with the taste, portions and quality. This place will be on our list of must-dos for years to come! Definitely recommended!

While we're not big shoppers, it was definitely a holiday tradition... so it was quite sad when Hand of Man closed (after closing in 2019, I believe the store has since re-opened as a general gift shop & home décor-type store). Cut to a couple of months ago, and one of my mother's friends mentioned a Christmas store in Lyons, NY that we might want to visit. We discovered it was this store, fully known as Evolve For the Home - The Christmas Store. I took a vacation day so that we could run a number of holiday-related errands, and stopping at this store was on the list. We weren't really sure what we'd find, but we were pleasantly surprised once we entered the store and it felt somewhat reminiscent of our visits to Hand of Man. There are various Christmas tree displays set up throughout the store, full of ornament and various design colors and themes - including a "Life is better at the beach" tree display, and a corner of cardinal-themed decorations. There's a large variety of ornament, décor, and other home good-options. and I managed to find a couple interesting ornaments - including a bowl of ramen ornament, as well as a packet of Twizzlers ornament (which reminded me of my bff, as he's OBSESSED with Twizzlers). Very cute. It's worth noting that some of the items, including ornaments, are more expensive here than other stores. The "old world"-style glass ornaments probably average $20-$25, and I'm not going to be buying many ornaments at that price range - even if I really like the design. My mother and I each ended up picking up more items than we expected. The folks that were tending the checkout area were lovely, and ensured that we had the boxes that we needed and everything to keep our purchases protected. TL;DR All in all, I enjoyed this store a lot more than I thought I would - and it's nice to have as an option if my mother and I want to bring back one of our holiday shopping traditions.

We originally had contacted Rebecca to do all the florals for our upcoming wedding. Unfortunately,…read moreour venue had cancelled on us, and our new venue was in a different location that was further away from Foote Florals than the previous. Rebecca then agreed to meet halfway between our new venue and herself where we would pick up the florals on the day of the wedding, which would have been fine. Then between May and September (4 months), she emailed me out of the blue saying that she did not think it would be possible for her to meet us halfway any longer. I questioned and wondered why she had agreed many months ago to this agreement; she claimed it would be in our best interest to come pick up the florals 4 hours away from our venue the night before since she no longer was going to meet us halfway. I explained this would be nearly impossible with a rehearsal dinner and other obligations. She advised for me to talk to my fiancé about the situation and we hung up. A short 3 hours later, she emailed me again, telling me she was cancelling our contract and giving me my deposit back and it was for "our best interest". She did not even give me the dignity of a phone call to explain any of this, only an email. My fiancé decided to call her an hour after she cancelled to see what was going on since it was mostly happening over email and did not make much sense. Only a couple minutes in after my fiancé asking Rebecca a few questions, he was abruptly interrupted and she rudely explained that we must be too stressed out, have too much on our plates, and she was the one helping us even though we would had to find a new florist less than a year until the big day. She then said that she did not care that we were upset with her, she would not listen to any of our concerns, and then hung up the phone on my fiancé without any further conversation. I cannot believe anyone in the service industry would treat a client this way. I would never consider using Foote Florals for any event.

I can only review Bristol's Garden Center based on my experience shopping for indoor and outdoor…read moreplants, as well as vegetables and herbs for my garden - not for any kind of landscaping work - but I found the selection available to be quite extensive. Didn't really need any assistance or service while shopping, mainly because I was shopping with my mother (before Mother's Day) and we were just trying to find things we liked and sounded interesting. The employee helping us at checkout was... seemingly indifferent to being there... but it's fine. In terms of value, we found everything to generally be within a reasonable price range - and I managed to find some really fun items, including strawberry mint (excited to use it in a cocktail) and an heirloom cherokee purple tomato plant. I also picked up a lovely little variegated string of hearts succulent and a couple other plants to add to my collection. Couldn't find a couple of the items I was looking for though (a friend asked me to see if I could find a Chinese money plant - and considering they're fairly common, I was surprised that Bristol's didn't have any), but one location can't have everything, ya know? Anyway, Bristol's was lovely and I'm sure I'll be back during future plant shopping adventures.

They've got amazing rustic furniture, that neat indestructible "poly" furniture for outdoors, cool crafts and they even brought in a new wine shop they call The Spirited Raven where they sell a whole bunch of wines from around the Finger Lakes region where their shop is located. Not to mention the view from their front porch stoop looks out over Cayuga Lake. I highly recommend paying these guys a visit!
