I like that this place is open early and late and appears to be well staffed. I tried to make an appointment at Elements in New Providence and they wouldn't have anybody available that could do deep tissue until noon and only seemed to have men that do deep tissue when I prefer a female therapist. My therapist, Angela, applied just the right amount of force and obviously is well skilled, identifying problem areas on her own and focusing exactly where I have been experiencing chronic pain in my left shoulder lately. They offer package rates and discounts and really do offer a nicer facility that is better staffed with authentic and skilled Chinese massage therapists for comparable pricing. I actually had to call one of my good friends who speak Mandarin to help translate what she was trying to say. She was more concerned with HER tip. I ALWAYS tip no less than 20 percent especially for this type of labor. Then she springs on me they have no machine and must pay cash. Which BTW they did not mention when I made the appointment. So I go over to HVCU right next door and get cash. So I get back and say OK, I have cash. She wanted to see the cash and how much of a tip she was going to get? I explained to her I don't give the value of the tip before service, but I showed her the cash for the massage and the $25 tip. Which BTW was more than 20 percent of the total cost of massage. She was upset with the tip amount. So I grabbed my cash off the counter and walked out. Don't waste your time.

There is a $10 tip minimum. The whole place is cash only. Went for a 60 minute reflexology foot massage, which was great and much better than another I've had. The person I got was very strong and specific as to where she was massaging, and listened when I asked for softer on certain areas. I've gotten massages before that were just kind of the person ambling around pressing randomly, and that is not what I got here, luckily. She also used some kind of heated tool for 'lymphatic detoxification' she said, which felt stimulating on the legs. I asked for some extra attention to one heel and she did that. I think you need to say exactly what you want if you're looking for something specific, she understood me for the most part. I did not hear much noise from the street. But the workers do talk to each other at times and the front door has a cluster of bells. It's a bare bones but clean place.
