My partner and I stopped in for a quick drink, and the whole visit felt easy in the best way. I ordered a coffee and a glass of their house white. The service was quick, friendly, and relaxed; the kind of pace that makes you feel like the place actually wants you to stay a minute. The coffee was the standout. It came out hot, aromatic, and with that little lift you get when the beans are fresh and the barista actually pays attention. The flavor leaned smooth with a light roast profile -- not burnt, not bitter, just clean. It had that soft acidity that wakes you up without punching you in the throat, and the finish was mellow enough that you don't need to drown it in cream or sugar. You could tell they're using decent beans and keeping their equipment in good shape, because the cup tasted intentional, not like something pulled from a tired machine. The house white was simple and easy. It was crisp, a little citrusy, nothing complicated, but perfect for a quick happy‑hour sip. It paired nicely with the vibe: calm, cozy, and unpretentious. Lucy's is one of those spots where you can start your day with a good coffee or end it with a glass of wine, and both feel right. Charming space, quick service, and drinks that actually taste cared for. I'd come back to try the pastries or a charcuterie board, but honestly the coffee alone made the stop worth it. #supportlocal

The sandwich comes with a pickle spear and a bag of Lays. It was a good sandwich but quite a lot of bread on that roll. My husband ordered a half turkey sandwich and a cup of tomato basil soup. He liked the sandwich but the soup was thin and too sweet. The service was super fast. We had our food in about 5 minutes. The place was pretty cute and looked clean. They had fresh lemons out for your water if you like it. They have a Blue Bell ice cream counter if you need a little sweet to follow. I would return if we get back through town at meal time.

Both were flavorful and delicious. We ordered the filet steak, salmon, and a Cajun redfish. All the dishes were perfectly prepared and tasted amazing. Ere's is also one of the few restaurants open in La Grange at 8 p.m. on a Saturday night, making it a convenient option after a full day of activities. The garlic knots were fresh, warm, and delicious, although I was expecting a stronger garlic flavor. Don't forget to order the marinara sauce or garlic oil for dipping! The Caprese salad was fresh and refreshing, and the grilled chicken was simple, well-cooked, and satisfying. Overall, Ere's was a dependable choice for takeout. The food traveled well, and it was a convenient option for a late dinner when many other restaurants had already closed.

The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and the atmosphere had that comfortable, authentic Italian feel that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal rather than rush through it. And they keep the place exceptionally clean. Our server made us feel very welcome even though we showed up just before closing time (they close at 2 pm Tue - Sun and are closed all day Monday). Half the menu was breakfast and the other half was lunch. Beverages were colas, coffee, tea, lemonade and horchata. Lunch here is your typical Mexican lunch menu: tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas, etc. They also had two specials today: Enchiladas Verde and Quesabirria Tacos. We tried and enjoyed both. The enchiladas had a lot of chicken in them. And while the birria lacked its typical au jus to dip the tacos in, they were still quite authentic and flavorful. The complimentary chips and salsa comes with a bean dip, and with two additional chile options, a spicy red chile and a chile verde. It was nice having all those options. For a healthier option, they also offer a large bowl of tortilla soup with spanish rice on the side. I'm not sure why they choose to open a Mexican restaurant right next to a Mexican restaurant, but the two restaurants are very different and keep different hours. We will come back to try their breakfast, as that appears to be their specialty.
