While in San Juan you must stop by Boccado's Divino for an authentic fresh homemade meal. With a huge selection to chose from, you can not go wrong. But do not hesitate to ask Victor or Alex for suggestions or that special dish of the day !!! This secret gem is located next to a School of Law with plenty of parking space available for your convenience. Boccados Divino is open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner. To make your visit a pleasant one, you will be taken care of by Alex, Victor (Owner), Clife, Nuris and another Nuris. Great customer service !!!!! Some of my favorites were the Conejo al Vino (Rabbit cooked in wine), so so tender and delicious, Sancocho (Stew), Coconut Flan, Cabrito al Vino ((Goat cooked in Wine), Tostones, Avocado, and Mangu. There is plenty of selections on their menu so do try different dishes for it's all good eating !!! And you can't forget the drinks !!! Plenty of Vino (wine) to chose from, Beers, and Liquor for Mix Drinks. Gotta enjoy that Don Q !!!!l

Very good food, portion and service. A little over priced but it worth it. I'll come back.

Order the lobster and plantain; so good. Best meal I've had in San Juan. I would come back without a second though.

For a main entree we had the churrasco which was very tender and well seasoned (pictured below).

One of the hostesses was noticeably rude at the start, which set an uncomfortable tone. After being seated, our waiter hasn't been outright unkind, but there's a clear difference in how we're being treated compared to other guests. As a same-sex couple, it feels like we're not being received as warmly, even though he seems to be making an effort to remain professional. As a Puerto Rican, that's honestly a bit disappointing and feels out of place. That said, the food itself has been very good.

I came here with a large group and we were happy to be seated in a private room. The menu here was…read moresimple but each dish was well executed. This restaurant would be a good first stop for authentic local cuisine. My favorites: * Skirt steak with rice and beans * Pork riblets with honey and rum * Fried cheese topped with a fruit sauce * Avocado-tomato salad * Drunken chicken made from local beer and honey * Chocolate cake with ice cream * Goat cheese and honey flan The only dishes I did not like were ones with octopus in them, like the Chorizo and Octopus Stew and the Seaside Salad. The octopus was chewy and rock hard in both. One person from our group was a vegetarian. Although there was no vegetarian entree on the menu, the staff made her a big plate of delicious cilantro rice with a large side of the avocado-tomato salad and fried plantains. Those of us who were not vegetarians liked her dish so much that we had to order a second plate for her. My only feedback for Casita Miramar is that they should answer their phones and E-mails. I had left multiple messages on voicemail and E-mail in both English and Spanish to modify a reservation, but those were never answered. I guess you will just have to stick with whatever the online Resy system gives you.

We arrived at 11am on a Monday because that's when we thought they opened. They actually opened at 11:30am, so we were 2nd in line at 11am. Once 11:30am rolled around, the line was very long. It's an old house that was transformed into a restaurant. It's pretty big in there and they have an upstairs as well. It really feels like you're eating in a Caribbean home, from the colorful tablecloth to the things on the tables. The menu is on a board, and they have a Spanish and English version. They give you a cup of complimentary plantain soup which was amazing. We also ordered the fried cheese app which came with a delicious guava sauce. For mains, I had the fried pork with tostones and my husband had the mamposteado (corned beef, fried eggs, and rice). My husband cleaned his plate, while I took leftovers back to the hotel (which we actually ate later because it was that good). They were out of tres leches that day, so we had the coconut pudding for dessert. It was my first time trying coconut pudding and it did not disappoint! For drinks, we had the passionfruit sangria. When we left, there was a very long line outside. Despite the line, they did not rush us out. Definitely recommend and would go out of my way to come back next time I'm in PR.

Beautiful restaurant with outstanding, creative dishes…read more My husband and I ordered one app and two entrees. The portions were very large, and we would have been fine with just two menu items! To start, we had the roasted eggplant, lamb 'picadillo', date sofrito, 'Feliche' yogurt. Really delicious and probably best for sharing among 3-4 people as it's a bit heavy given the lamb. Nevertheless, it was really good and we finished it! For entrees, we tried the (1) rice with rabbit, sweet plantain in its leaf and the (2) breaded pork loin, mushroom cream, cherokee tomatoes from San Lorenzo, tostones. Our server was super excited when we ordered the rice with rabbit and I understand why. It was insanely flavorful. Also a massive portion haha. We really enjoyed this. The pork loin was delicious as well, especially with the mushroom cream. Plantains are one of my favorite foods, and these tostones did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's a nice mix of modern decor with homey, vintage elements. There is a very large outdoor space, but I'm really glad we ate inside. Definitely recommend - especially for a group that likes to share!

Nice blend of textures from crispy to the savory tender fish and the tomato crisp Chicken thigh chicharrones - wow. So good. Tender and flavorful Prawns - plump and tasty.
