When was some friends to watch the Dominican baseball playoff the atmosphere the environment was intense. Loved it. The food is always good. I've never complained about their food that I remember. I came here for Easter and this is my second time coming here for Easter & everything went well, than came the bill. They make you put a $50 dollar deposit and they do not deducted it from your receipt. If nobody has been paying attention to their bills start paying attention they rob you from your deposit when they suppose to give it back to you. I am not coming here again respectfully. They have been wasting my time to come into the restaurant and speak with a manager when she is not here. Went to Boca 1/16/26 to celebrate my husbands birthday we bought over 24 bottles and the service was ok. Went back on 2/21/26 to celebrate my sisters birthday. Did reservations with Liz and was informed because of a large group and I wanted to sit in the section we were in January 16 would be available. She informed me sure that if it would be an issue she would let me know. When we get there we are told for dinner the group would have to sit somewhere else and then when it's turned into lounge we can go to the VIP section. No problem on our end that's fine. Yeah right when we are seated in the vio section we were informed is a 3 bottle minimum I asked the prices I was told 150 regular bottle and 175 premium. Then the night manager Evelyn comes to tell me all of a sudden bottle prices changed and to sit where we were it a $1000-2,000 minimum. What? So I proceed to explain and she tells me you were given wrong information I'm sorry but this is what it is. Nah I told her you want to make your night with this group because of the amount we spent last time and that's not happening. That your staff and peers gave false advertisement when I made reservations is not on me it's on them and how they manage. Point is no one wanted to take accountability especially her when she was sitting right there when her staff gave me the bottle prices and as a manager she did not correct her and looked the other way. I will never return there and all or my friends that came out of town have also spread the word. As how unprofessional they have been. So sad. Disappointed in trying to support business I. Get here early and make a reservation so you don't have to wait. Below are pics of what I ordered. For the brunch they have the pre fix menu for $39 which is great. It's two hours of unlimited mimosas or rum punch. My table picked the rum punch it was so good. One of them dangerous drinks lol taste like juice. The menu options are really good for the price. I was attending a Birthday party for my sister in law immediately the female bouncer was very aggressive and inappropriate when checking me to get in the establishment. I felt very uncomfortable she was very rough and to personal. Purchasing a drink at the bar the refused to let us pay with a card unless we left a tab open so we paid in cash because we didn't trust the establishment to leave the card but I can use a credit card to buy bottles. I say that because our party paid With a card. They're doing unfair business practice. By choosing when to accept your card or deny because they feel the transaction to low. I didn't attend for brunch , dinner or lunch I attended for the lounge so my experience is for just that. The area becomes very congested when it's turns over to a lounge. The high top tables are right on top of each other. So it's hard to really enjoy yourself when your constantly being bumped or asked to move to the side. The service is horrible because your constantly looking for someone to attend the bottle service ( ice,cups, extra soda ,juice) so even when your spending a lot of money your begging for service. Made a reservation for 3:30 and had to wait until 3:58 to be seated at the tiniest table I've ever seen for 3 grown adults who were expecting hookah, drinks, and food! My exceedingly patient party of 3 had to ask for drinks and a menu multiple times. The staff was kind and accommodating but the service was still lackluster. The food definitely made up for everything else--the chips and guac were fresh, the mangu was creamy and delicious, and the mimosas were bright and crisp. My friend and I decided to go out (last minute) and I came across this little spot, which has hookah! Price: It was very affordable! The starter hookah cost $40, and refills are $20. We both ordered margaritas (mango and passion fruit) which were $14 each. I'm NOT a drinker, but the drinks were really good (didn't taste the patron). There were two (inch in size) crab cakes stacked on top one another. The sauce that it came in had a slight sweetness, but it was still yummy. I've been to Boca on 116 and 1st Avenue and had a horrible experience but wanted to try the one on Webster avenue and unfortunately it was a horrible experience as well. We said we weren't ordering drinks and that seemed to be where the waitress lost interest. We went early enough where it wasn't busy but the wait was still long. The food is good but the service isn't worth it at all. The waitress took our appetizer order and forgot to come back. One of the guys in the floor took our order after us looking around and staring for 20 minutes. The runners brought our drinks to the table but held them until we grabbed the cups ourselves. We have two reservations going one for a large party and one for a smaller party and the seating arrangement s bad so many complications it was honestly ridiculous. When trying to place an order it was so hard to flag down a waitress. They instead were sitting in the stairs taking pictures. In addition to the seating arrangements the food brought out either didn't belong to either party and was also cold. Highly disappointed in this RACIST facility. I've felt very uncomfortable trying to eat here. Not only were they turning away black individuals or those who weren't Spanish, they have a health score of 22 out of 100. How is this facility even open?!! They were trying to squeeze individuals next to each other, not taking social distancing into consideration. However, when I arrived at the time of my confirmed reservation they denied me service as they 'didn't have anymore seats.' I proceeded to stand next to this vermin-filled facility that I was denied at, & watched two different groups of individuals walk in and receive service immediately. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE! During this time where minorities and individuals in general should stick together, we should support each other with love and acceptance no matter the race. I've been to Boca Restaurant and Lounge about 3 times - Once for Happy Hour and Twice for Brunch and dare I say, their brunch battles any party brunch out there. When I went for Happy Hour, they had a great selection of drinks and good on the menu. I had the Passion Fruit Margarita, which was good but nothing I'd order again. My husband ordered the Red Sangria which was great. We also had Buffalo wings and a Quesadilla, both were good. Now for Brunch - I've had the mimosas and the red sangria and they are very good, add in the fact that both times I've gone to their brunch, I was definitely drunk lol You get a choice of an appetizer and a main course. For appetizer, I got the buffalo wings and the main course, the steak and eggs with rice and beans and it was just FANTASTIC. I have visited this place several times and all I have to say is do not order any steak here. The last 2 times I visited this restaurant I asked for medium rare steak and both times my steak was over cooked, hard as a rock. When the waitress came and order me another steak yesterday the brought me a completely raw uncooked steak. Now I don't know if the chef was having a bad day but I was definitely nice about the whole situation and not mean at all. Beside waiting 2 hours for my meal. The manager came and very dry and unsympathetic said sorry and took the steak. The waitress was extremely apologetic and nice but I ended up paying the bill and leaving without eating because sitting outside was too cold to keep on waiting for another plate of food. I was in frequent contact with a person ahead of time , paying a deposit to secure our "lounge area."The worker also said i could bring cake... when i got there the people at the front entrance kept changing the entry fee every 15 minutes. So it literally went from free -$50 in 1 hour when i was told no entry fee. On top of that the workers / security guards were EXTREMELY rude. They had no plates or utensils for my cake so i brought it for no reason... The bottle package i purchased additionally came with a 2 seat couch and 1 table as our "lounge area." I can here on a Sunday Brunch Party around 3 PM, we got there and we had two get our coats checked ($5 Per Coat) which was OK but I saw people in the place with coats and jackets on so I was confused. It was super packed and the music was super loud, for example, I could barely hear the coat check girl and she was right next to the door. We went to the second floor to meet our party, the second floor is really small and narrow but they packed it with least 4 tables in there so you were just bumping into people and if you are sitting down and aren't sitting next to the wall you're not getting up. We finally get seated and let me tell you.....Service is horrendous, Sloths move faster. The drinks weren't that great, the rum punch (passion fruit flavor) was way too sweet and nasty, the mimosa tasted like pretty much OJ, and the refills came sporadically, for the two-hour brunch special we got probably 3-4 refills. The Hookah was nothing special, Low-grade Al Fakher shisha with plastic hoses with the handles melted off or cracked, and they give you like 2 hookah tips, it was a party of 8+ what am I suppose to do with 2 hookah tips. The seating upstairs had burn holes in them also. We ordered appetizers and the main course, let me tell you the apps came out around 4:40ish and the main course came out around 5:30, mind you, our brunch started at 3 pm. The food was lackluster, the chicken and waffles were more like chicken nuggets and waffles. And we didn't have any utensils on your table, we had to downstairs and find a staff member and ask them. The music was mainly Spanish but then again it's a Spanish lounge, but they did throw in some hip-hop. (the only reason they getting two stars) Overall it was an a-OK experience, but let's be honest; you're coming to a Spanish club in the Bronx, what you expected. read more

I repeatedly had to wave down the waitress. She was sitting at another table smoking hookah and seemed to forgotten we were there. I went there on a Saturday with some friends and I promise I will never comeback. First, the waitress that we had seemed overwhelmed and uncaring about our experience. When we tried to ask for a coal, since the flavor was still good he tried to charge us for a whole new refill. We asked the manager if this was true and she said yes So we brought another refill. Then the food was terrible. The wings weren't crispy at all, the pastelitos were like the ones you fry at home with a lot of oil. The quesadilla was Cold inside. I reserved a table for 16 people for my sons 21st birthday and everything went so well. I made all arrangements with Kirsy who was very attentive and polite. All of our food was correct and best of all tasted delicious. Our waitress, Merci was very sweet and patient with all the orders. We were allowed to bring balloons and our own cake which was awesome.
