We asked him to come over and look at a tree that seemed to be in danger of splitting apart. Nathan "cabled" the problem area and the tree is still alive and happy. Since then, Nathan and his crew have tackled several jobs for us, from trimming a 20-foot high arborvitae hedge to felling a huge tree that had begun leaning towards the house. (He even took a minute to chainsaw-carve a little table and four little chairs for the grandkids from the tree's wood.) Some of the work was fine but the cuts for the hedges trimming looked like they'd been chewed off by a beaver instead of cut by a sharp tool. Not the quality I expect from professionals and I worry for the health of my hedge. Also most of the trimmed hedge branches were just left laying on top of the hedge and weren't apparent until the leaves turned brown. I had to climb up a ladder to pull down at least a dozen 6+ foot long branches and my hedge is only about 15 feet long. I emailed the owner hoping he'd be receptive to feedback but never heard back.
