This place may look like a hole in the wall, and there isn't much merchandise on the shelves, but I've had consistently yummy food from Bob's Place. My favorite is the bacon pizza. There are several small pieces of bacon on every slice, they aren't stingy with the cheese, the sauce is just right and the crust is nice and puffy. I've been known to put some marinara sauce & fresh mozzarella on the crust, or even creton for another meal. This pizza is perfect when camping at Sebago Lake State Park and you don't feel like cooking. Because I love the pizza so much, I rarely get anything else, but I have had a lobster roll, which was good, and a bite of my hubby's Rich Boy, and that was yummy too, although a bit on the pricey side. poor service. this young red-head girl who clearly was taken aback by my long hair and skull necklace ( hey, I like to accessorize) was short with me, had NO personality and helped me as little as possible without actually not helping me. I bought some fire wood for my camp at Sebago, and she gave me a bunch of firewood that I SWEAR to you, must have been submerged in water when she retrieved it. this wood WOULD NOT BURN. I am wondering if she placed a curse on the wood, possibly as a sign that her spiritual beliefs are more powerful than mine, which is of course ludicrous. Or she could just be the daughter of the owner---naaaa, the curse idea makes more sense. but seriously, a nuclear detonation could not get this wood to light-up. My advice, get your wood elsewhere, and stop by Bob's place and tell the red-headed girl to stop placing curses of the firewood they sell. Tell her that skull necklaces and long hair just mean someone looks cool, they're not a threat. read more

The food was ok but we were nit given any type of receipt and feel that we were overcharged. We went by the prices on the menu here and were told that they were the summer prices? Really seems wrong to me that you would charge year round customers more than summer tourist! Likely will not return there which is unfortunate because we like to support local businesses read more

Talk about cheap f*ing Owners...I ordered a chicken finger sub, with lettuce, pickles & onions and received an glorified hot dog roll with ONE kiddie chicken finger on each half. (Mind you, I'm a grown ass man weighing in at 220 lbs.) (TAKE A LOOK AT THE PHOTOS, if you think Im F*ing joking with you.) My father ordered an Italian sub and, he too, got a glorified hot dog roll, but with HAM & CHEESE!!!!! These clowns slapped a couple pieces of Lettuce on top, with a slice of tomato and sprinkled F*ing OLIVES in there and decided that they would call that an Italian today!!!! Don't waste your time stopping in here. They are slow, uninformed, the food is stale (when you finally get it) and the owner is rude! This is coming from a Mainer, who enjoys going to Sebago lake S.P. Do yourselves a favour, stop someplace in North Windham or Raymond and skip this place all together!! read more

Bobs Place has been a significant part of Me and my Wife's life ever since we moved to the area. They are a small family owned convenience store on route 302 and the corner of State Park Rd. We really like Bob and his wife Joslyn and absolutely love the food they make. The prices are cheaper than any other dinner food serving convenience store that I have found in southern maine. My dad use to bring me here growing up, after awhile we just stopped going. I've ordered from here recently as I don't think it's fully worth all the money, I love to support a family ran business, bob had survived almost it all! Within the years he has downsized considerably, he is still there. He puts the care time and effort into your food you know it's coming from a cleaning store/home. Stopped here on the way to the state park. We got the subs which although didnt have much meat, were sooooooo delicious. And for 3 bucks or so what we paid totally worth it. Super friendly and nice. Will stop here everytime:) read more
