From the owner: If you know, you KNOW. Hans Hot Box is a whole vibe…read more This isn’t just food—it’s an experience. Every box hits like it was made with purpose, attitude, and a little madness (the good kind). You don’t come here for plain or safe—you come here for flavor that smacks, combos that shouldn’t work but do, and characters that make you feel like you’re part of a story. Chef Julio and OG Micky? Legends. It’s like your favorite food truck and your favorite mixtape had a baby and decided to start cooking full-time. Every dish has a name, a mood, and a backstory. I ordered something called “Smoke in the Bayou” and swear I tasted drama, soul, and smoke in one bite. The boxes are LOADED—fried tenders over Cajun pasta, Cuban sandwiches stuffed like they’re trying to prove something, sauces that slap, sides that don’t feel like sides. And the vibe? Gritty, streetwise, and loud in the best way. The branding goes hard—black and lime green with street-art flair. It’s like stepping into a food comic book where everything explodes in flavor. You can tell there’s culture, passion, and hustle behind all of it. It's not about trends—it's about real-deal flavor and storytelling through food. If you’re hungry for something that feels different, tastes , and makes you want to come back just to see what’s next… Hans Hot Box is THAT spot.

At Fort Myers Brewery we were in line looking forward to buy their fresh cut fries. The woman…read moretaking orders was very casually chatting with a young very physique and obviously muscular customer in front of us, all the while a line of hungry potential customers is patiently waiting in line. When she finally finished tending to that customers desires, we step forward for our turn to order. She doesn't say anything to us. They had a hand-written sign that said "1 tatter, 2 tatter" with prices by them but, it was a bit unclear exactly what they meant by that. So I kindly asked her, what does that mean exactly on the sign about 1 tatter and 2 tatter? She had no idea what I was referring to and seemed confused. That's right. The person taking orders had no idea what they were selling nor was she familiar with their own signage for items they were selling. I pointed to the sign and she then went to the cook, who I believe may be the owner, to ask him. He simply told her it means small or large fries. I asked her that surely I couldn't be the first person to ask that and she looked at me negatively as if she was very annoyed that a customer asked her a question about their product. My girlfriend then asked how big was their large as they had no pictures or visual reference to know how big of a serving a large was. She very blatantly acted as if she was profusely annoyed and said very nonspecifically, I don't know like 3 potatoes. She didn't give any other info such as potato size or type or anything so her answer was very vague and general with her being very visibly annoyed that she had to talk to customers who were not young body builders like the person before us. She then acted as if we became invisible and were no longer even there as the next customers to help and she began to help another person not even in line who just came up to her. Extremely rude!! We were in shock! And just walked away as we were potential customers and her horrendous attitude and their lack of professional courtesy and total lack of customer service was no longer worthy of receiving our money. I highly recommend to everyone to not spend your money on this business as they are not worthy of your business and not worthy of giving them any of your hard earned money as they most definitely don't care to earn it from you by simply being courteous.
