This bobs has the best and hottest Chile of all the Bobs! The tortilla burger is my go to! It's an older location but it's almost like a historic landmark. There's seats to sit outside and you order at an outside window. It's always pretty busy but they're fairly quick. Definitely give it a try if you happen to be in the south valley! read more

Ordered by phone, and my food was ready when I arrived 10 minutes later. Service was friendly on the phone and in person. Place was clean and well lit for the tables outside. Had the rancho burger LG with double meat, a chili dog and fries. The chili dog had lots of flavor from the chili and onions, but the dog could have used a good sear to bring out more flavor. Chili was flavorful but not super spicy. The fries were warm but not hot. Would have been better hot, but I ordered in advance. The burger was ok, but I expected more from the chili. Wow this is the place. It was taco Tuesday so I got a couple of the green chili taco burgers. Dang they are delicious but be careful if your not into spice hot food get your green chili on the side so you can use what you want as it was spicy but I loved it. I also tried the green chili cheese fries and they where delicious as well. A must try when in town. read more

Today I went to my local Bob's Burger on Rio Bravo and Isleta. I order beef taquitos (see picture attached) I called and Rebecca answered super nice lady, not sure if she is the manager. I told her about the taquitos being over cooked, not edible. She said no problem let me write down yor information. I went back and asked for her but she had already left. I spoke to Monica should her the taquitos she said there was nothing wrong with them, that she works there and she knows what they should look like. When i told her they were burnt again she said who cares your getting your money back. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience of me having to go back. When I was there a man was returning his fries for getting red instead of green. Monica obviously your staff needs more training or maybe your the problem. Out of state people always brag about restaurants in their city and it's usually about In N Out. I've eaten both and I have to say Bobs is far better and probably the best fast food in Albuquerque. I've eaten at most of the restaurants here in Albuquerque over the years and will only eat at the Central and Atrisco or Rio Bravo locations. This bob's burgers has the best chilie out of any bob's I've been to. It's always consistently hot and delicious. Best to call in your orders and pickup at this location rather then waiting in your vehicle since this location can get busy at times. I just wish this location would get a updated building with a drive thru and dining area with air conditioning. read more

My hometown is Albuquerque, New Mexico, so anyone who knows what it is like to somewhat "live" in two different places KNOWS that you have cravings for food from each place. Bob's is SO good that EVERY time I visit New Mexico, I MUST have it. There really is nothing like that I have eaten that can compare. Let me start out by saying their chile is what sets them apart. The flavor they have perfected is out of this world for me. Both the red and the green are absolutely delish. It's sort of a chile con queso consistency, cheesy and gooey. It's VERY spicy, so be warned, not for the WEAK stomached or MOUTHED. I love SO many things off their menu, but have made the taco burgers my top pick. The taco burger is a taco shell with a patty instead of ground beef, it is in patty form, smothered with their chile and shredded lettuce. My usual order is taco burgers with green chile and an order of red chile cheese fries which I share with my sister. I have ordered the chile dogs from time to time and they are ALSO amazing. The red chile is my favorite and I pack them with cheese and onions. I do not hold back when I eat here, it's THAT good. My dad ALWAYS, without failure orders a ranchero burger. This is a typical hamburger, with cheese and green chile. It seems to take the cake for him. I've also tried their taquitos, but usually stick to the taco burgers. We spotted this place as we got into town. We thought how can we pass up Bobs Burgers?! (We love the show) There is of course no correlation between this chain of restaurants and the show. There are about 10 of them spread around the Albuquerque area. They are family owned and have been around since the 60s. This particular location, does not have an eat in area, but does have a covered outdoor eating area. You walk up, order and then wait for them to call your number. We opted for two of their staples. The ranchero burger is basically a green chili cheeseburger. (You can't go anywhere in ABQ without finding one on the menu) I got the taco burger, which is a hard shell taco with half of a hamburger patty in it, topped with lettuce and green chili. Now, what sets Bob's Burgers apart, is this green chili. It is not for the faint of heart. Do not get this if you can't take the heat. We liked it and it was good for our first ABQ green chili experience. This place is definitely no frills, but good, and for the price it can't be beat! Oh, Bob's... How I love thee. So, about Bob's. They're not high end, they are absolutely not fancy, and sometimes they aren't even all that nice. Why do we love this place? I'll tell ya. The taco burgers are so good. This is fast food, but not. The chile here (red or green) is fire, and they aren't chintzy with it. If you're not a fan of fire, order yours on the side. Tortilla burgers are also delish, along with chile cheese fries. You can indeed get things without chile, so don't let that hot stuff doecourage you. To put the fire out, you can get a shake, malt, or float- any of them will be tasty. This is a local chain, and it's awesome. I really do love this place! I love their taquitos, their chile cheese fries with red or green and their tortilla burger! I usually order a combo E, which comes with your choice of medium fries or chile cheese fries, two tortilla burgers and a medium drink. I usually ask for a easy on the chile because it is HOT, even for me. Even then I have to scoop some chile out of the tortilla burger, which is, you guessed it, a burger patty smothered in their green chile sauce, cheese and lettuce. And as always, you have a choice between red or green. I've never really favored either and I switch them off because both are delicious. Only one location has drive-thru that I know of, which is on fourth street just south of Montano, all others are order and wait on yourself type deals, which I don't mind. Leave me alone to expierence the burning hot chile that makes my nose run and eyes tear, it's not torture, trust me! It's HEAVEN. read more

Very disappointing - Bobs burgers is my favorite place to go on taco Tuesday, when I go I usually order about 12 tacos for me and my family but this Time I expected friends over and ordered another 12. I understand that this is a lot of taco burgers to make so when the girl over the counter said "are you fucking serious!" I felt so bad and apologized I know exactly how she felt because I used to work for Taco Bell and hated it when some one would order two taco party packs. I would also show discouragement in the big order but I would never do it right in front of the customer to make him feel bad about ordering at their location. I was going to provide them a tip until I saw them so lazily make the tacos. Some girls actually handled it pretty well and did their jobs and I thank them Because the tacos they made were good but the girl or girls that were petty made some of my tacos with no effort, little to no sauce, and no lettuce on some of them.
