The owners grandson (he's 9) met us at the entrance and explained what was open today and what to expect from the ones that were open. Very very knowledgeable. I was super impressed with him!!! They had dukes and drapers open today for picking. They're both good, imo the dukes were better. We picked 6lbs for $24. Worth every penny and then some! We'll be back again for some of the other varieties. Thank you for being open and so friendly!

There are many shady areas to pick from and a nice cool shady area in front of their little inside store for the pickers that need a break. I brought the toddler nephews who weren't much help picking. But the staff treated them like they were their own family. The kids played and I picked. It was a nice afternoon activity with a built in fresh snack. The grounds were gorgeous and extremely well maintained. Gorgeous flowers everywhere. Bonus: The owners never use pesticides on the berries. The Buckets are sanitized after each use and the staff show you the best picking areas when you arrive. We will definitely be back.

You are escorted and assigned a row based on what is ripe and ready, so we only got to try one kind. Our row was bursting with jerseys which are aweet and mild. I prefer the fend-for-yourself places where I find the variety I like most, and pick those. Sampling multiple kinds is part of the fun. But, being an organized person, I totally understand why they do it this way. It's set in the beautiful Green Valley, and rhe old barn is a treasure. They have family antiques (to see) mixed with Polish pottery to buy. Naturally, it's all blueberry themed. Bring containers to take your berries home. They don't provide boxes. Blueberry picking at Higher Taste is a can't miss summer event in our family. My kid calls it the…read more"blueberry tunnel". This isn't a fancy "farm" that's more of an amusement park (looking at you, Carpinitos). It's just a huge patch of blueberries! It's also a nice size to bring a little kid, you won't need to walk long distances. I recommend moving around because different areas of the patch have different blueberry types. The parking lot for pickers is just north of the address on Yelp but they had plenty of signs that made it easy to find. You have to go down a gravel road to get there so keep that in mind if you don't want your car getting dirty. They had quite a few rows of strawberries for picking, and had 4 different varieties available. We also saw some apple trees where the apples were growing for picking in the fall and some peach trees. They also have veggies to pick but we didn't walk that far back. A lot of the strawberry plants had been pretty picked over but still had plenty of fruit if you pulled up the leaves and looked. We ended up picking about 3 lbs of fruit to take home. The fields are super dusty so make sure to wear sneakers you don't care about because they will get covered in dirt. We enjoyed a relaxing time picking berries and enjoying the beautiful views. I will definitely be back with my husband and daughter to enjoy picking some more fruit.

Bailey's Farm is a dream. My mom and I spent the afternoon picking strawberries and raspberries together, surrounded by blooming fields and buzzing bees. The strawberries were bright red, perfectly ripe, and so fragrant it felt like walking through a natural perfume. That smell alone could heal your entire nervous system. The raspberries were generous and delicious too, but it was the strawberries that made time stop. We picked slowly, laughed often, and let the wind guide us from row to row. It wasn't just a farm--it was a pause button in the middle of our road trip, and a memory I'll hold close forever. The only thing that could use improvement is the parking lot. The entrance and exit are one-way, but it's not clearly marked. It's a small detail, but clearer signage would make arrival smoother.
