Yum yum ribs
Milton L.

We checked this place out tonight after reading the reviews on this site. Must say our experience was all good, went after the movies arrived around 8.00 was seated all most immediately. Fare fure people in the place couple large groups, good atmosphere staff very punctual. The menu lots to choose from, couldn't see much for veg'os but who cares anyway. I had the Tennessee ribs thumbs up misses had Southern chicken dinner, she couldn't fit all in. Take away container supplied for leftovers dog enjoyed as well. Will need to go back to have a steak. All in all good going.

Some of the rudest staff ever. Especially the bar tender, I think she may have mental problems terrible anger issues.

Ok yeh, Maccas does Brioche now but do they do it with amazing cut meats or southern fried chicken? I was confused as to what to call this place as it serves up an array of Americana type dishes with interesting add ons. What you can say is Dexter pulls off a very unusual offering while still being casual enough to not feel you need a PhD to understand the menu. I ordered the Big Dexter. Pulled Pork and Beef Brisket.... wow it was yum. I usually do the half way swap with the wife so we can experience more of the menu but there was no hope for this one. The cafe sits beautifully and brightly on a corner on Tucker Road, Bentleigh. Inside is a gorgeous fun bright and airy space replete with lots of warm pink color. It's so cute. There's plenty of room inside though and an outside area too. Overall it's just a great fun space with a terrific feel good factor. It has a lovely sound system and good music as well. It all works wonderfully well. We received a lovely warm greeting and were directed to a cute table by the wall. There's a best practice choice on offer of still or sparkling water. We love our sparkling. We started with Golden Gaytime milkshake. This is a seriously fun smooth, silky sweet offering with a lovely crumbed top. I love a golden gaytime ice cream and I seriously enjoyed this lovely milkshake. We also loved the chocolate peanut butter milkshake too. Both milkshakes were fantastic with great flavours and texture. Oh bliss. The food took a little while to come out but when it did gosh it was worth a little wait. I had the Pastrami Benedict on advice from our server. I have rarely made a wiser choice of meal. This is a fantastic dish and I fawned over every mouthful. It had a gorgeous bernaise sauce. I loved it. The eggs were done perfectly. Lovely pickle and saikraught as well. The pastrami was superb too. I added bacon as a side but didn't need to. I couldn't fault the dish. It was excellent. The world's most beautiful woman had the dippy eggs. She had to. We'd read so much about the dish and it sounded so fun and very tasty. And so it was. She can be a harsh critic at times but she too seriously loved this dish. It's so tasty. It's well thought through and composed. It's entertaining in its own right. Just a great dish all round. We finished with two gorgeous coffees. You certainly don't just have to go to the inner city anymore for great coffee. They know exactly what they're doing here. The coffees were magnificent. We had lovely service throughout here. Our servers were lovely guys and highly professional. A credit to the craft. This is a fantastic cafe. On everything we saw today, Good Times Milk Bar is right up there with the best Melbourne brunch experiences. It's one of those must do Melbourne experiences. Our sincere thanks for the invitation to come here.

Doubly excited that they have an entire wall devoted hot sauces and condiments for said creations. Triply excited that, despite their name sake, there are vegetarian options on the menu. But just because it's vegetarian, it makes no pretense that it's healthy. That fried tofu sandwich comes topped with vegetarian chilli and gooey, guilty-pleasure American cheese. Plus the option to have it all seated on top of a big pile of fries. You can save money for more beer at the Catfish bar on Mondays, when the cheesesteaks are only $8 or $10 with fries. Order and pick-up at the back hatch. Then add a little heat with things like the chipotle bbq sauce and tomatillo & jalapeno, or just play it safe and stick with the basic tomato sauce & yellow mustard. There is no way you're walking out hungry after one of these.

This was my daughter's 18th birthday celebration dinner, and the kind manager approached our table, wished my daughter a happy birthday, and asked if she could get my daughter anything special. I told the manager that, unlike her friends, my daughter never drank before turning 18, and tonight at Belles, was her first drink. Came in a group of 8 and the staff were accommodating and got us 2 tables. The tap beer is decent value for money as it's slightly larger than a schooner. Now for the chicken. The wings are actual wings and seems like all the chicken comes in 4 pieces and solid portion of sides. The "really f**kin hot" has a good kick. For me it wasn't melt my mouth hot but still gave a decent chilli sweats. It is heavily coated in the spice seasoning which is rather powdery and sticks to your fingers. The medium is still rather spicy though for those without the desire to die by chilli. The winter is a good side and a slightly spicy seasoning on the fries. The blue cheese sauce was pretty eh. Diffuses the chilli but was more like ranch sauce. I would say it's worth the hype, plus you get to take home any leftovers. Also avoid touching your eyes or sensitive skin after as even hours later my eyes still felt line they were on fire when I took my contacts out
