Busy restaurant but got a walk in reservation relatively quickly. Clearly lost and non native speakers we went to the wrong place were asked to wait in the queue (which was a newly formed line in the street behind the dad who just asked the same question I did for his family). The hostess then selected the French speaking folks behind us in line for a table for two outside before coming back to us for a table for two inside. Maybe they had a reservation... but they were also standing behind us clueless on the corner of the street before walking over to Bobo behind us. Waiter was nice, but cared more for the tables of women than anyone else... I can't totally blame him or at least can empathize. Pizza was great! read more

Truly terrible, hostile customer service and fish that will send you to the hospital during your vacation. We came here for lunch after reading the positive reviews. However, the experience at Bobo was abysmal. Here is why: 1. We ordered the Ceasar salad and salmon tartare/quinoa salad; after one bite I realized that the salmon tartare was not fresh and smelled off putting; my survival instinct told me to stop eating it or risk food poisoning. When I brought this to the server's (Maddie) attention, she got visibly angry and said "salmon is fresh. You will still pay for it. I can order something additional for you." I would understand that if I had eaten the whole dish, then brought the issue to her attention, then maybe her reaction would be more normal. I worked as a server for about 8 years (through college and grad school) and there was an obvious solution for her to notify the chef, replace the meal, and that would be simple. 2. After we brought the issue to another worker's attention, they eventually took the bad fish off the bill and when she dropped off the check, she said in the most hostile tone: "we took the fish off, now pay the rest and GO!" In short, if you're looking for a positive, and sanitary dining experience, please keep looking! read more

My friend and I came here for lunch, and it was from start to finish one of the best meals we've had on our vacation so far. The service is attentive and anyone who waited on us spoke both English and French was very nice and helpful. We had a couple dishes to share between the two of us such as the truffle gnocchi and the beef tartare. Food was amazing and at a reasonable price too. Makes complete sense that this place has multiple groups waiting outside across the street for a table on any given night. Sardines may cause unexpected pregnancy. Octopus carpaccio is a big miss - flavours comparable to whitefish whiskas. Big puffy pizza and 236 Michelin starred clam linguine. The linguine may very well cause you to leak volumes of semen while you sleep, I highly recommend sleeping on a tarp after consuming more than 3 bites. Cute wine list. Go get lost tonight. read more

Amazing food!! We gave been visiting cities in the French Rivera all week exploring. When looking for a place for dinner I found Bobo on Yelp and had to try it as it was top rated. It definitely deserves its high rating. My family went back to Cannes today to eat lunch there unfortunately it was closed. The only reason I reviewed 4 stars instead of 5 is because Yelp said it was open for lunch but when we showed up it was closed, disappointing :( Overall still want to go back if we get the chance! read more

It's a great spot to grabbing dinner with friends. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was delightful. As a large group, we ordered several dishes, I personally got the 4 cheese pizza, followed with the lemon meringue tarte. Perfect little cafe off the beach. It blends in with the other cafes in the area, but don't be fooled, this place has better food. The servers are super nice (I'm used to getting yelled at by French people for being American). Steak and truffle salad 5 star (steak just melts in your mouth) Artichoke salad 4 star (note: artichoke is raw) Octopus Carpaccio 2 star (sliced too thin, would have preferred a steamed or grilled octopus) Be prepared to spend a pretty penny here. I am glad we picked this place. We liked everything we had. Sardines were great with fresh bread, a sprinkle of fresh lemon and local olive oil. Antrecote was absolutely perfect. Steak tartare was also pretty good, I missed a liquid yolk for added richness, but overall it was delicious. This was a great spot for a french bistro dinner outdoors. The waiter and host were friendly and had some great recommendations. I highly recommend the veal salad and gnocchi with truffe leaves. Service was top notch and on most nights there is a live music on the sidewalks. Watch out for hawkers that are selling crap...don't leave your phone or valuables on the table. Service was slow because they all seemed stressed - almost running between tables and they also seemed unorganized. Difficult to get their attention. Maybe they are on top of their game when the place is not so busy but shouldn't a restaurant be able to handle full house..? My friend and I happened across this lovely gem in Cannes one busy Friday afternoon. Although it was super busy. The owner/manager did manage to accommodate us in the small table in the front of the restaurant. This was the prime spot for people watching. The restaurant seemed to attract the beautiful, cool people of Cannes. My friend and I ordered the most delicious Cesar salad and Margarita pizza. We also treated ourselves to some lovely Campari and Soda. The food was delicious, the drinks definitely strong and the location ideal. I removed a star because the waitress that attended to us was rude and not very welcoming. All in all I would go back. I guess it's a trade off to be amongst the beautiful people read more

By far the best pizza in Cannes. Reasonably priced, for Cannes that is. Whether you eat outside or inside, the atmosphere is perfect for a casual date night, a family outing or a nice night out. For an appetizer, try the arugula and artichoke salad (note: arugula is known as roquette in French, but when they translate it for you in menus here they often call it "rockets"). Also, make sure to get the Bobo pizza, which has "rockets", parm and some of the tastiest ham I've ever eaten. Once again, best pizza in Cannes. The crust was to die for! read more
