My husband and I have been coming here since 2024. We've always enjoyed stopping by for drinks and have never cared about being "known" or treated differently at a local bar. We simply come in, spend our money, enjoy ourselves, and go home. Unfortunately, tonight completely changed our experience. We came in to have a couple of drinks and were sitting at the bar while a group nearby was playing pool. At one point, a man from the group began rubbing his entire back against my arm/body while positioning himself for his shot. I told him, "You're touching me," and he completely ignored me. I then tapped him and said again, "Hey, you're touching me. Please move." Instead of simply apologizing or giving me space, he turned around, looked at my husband and me, and told US to move--even though he was the one entering our space. My husband told him that we were paying customers sitting at the bar and were not there to play pool. Then two women from the group came over and also told us we needed to move because "it was his shot." Apparently, taking a pool shot somehow made it acceptable for a man to rub up against a woman after she had already asked him to stop. We refused to move. They then offered to buy us a shot if we moved. At that point, it wasn't about a free drink or even about moving--it was about the way the situation had been handled from the beginning. A simple "Sorry, I didn't realize I was touching you" would have gone a long way. Instead, the situation continued escalating. We were told the owner was part of the group playing pool, with the implication that this behavior would be acceptable because of that. Another friend came over, began yelling at my husband, and used vulgar language toward him. People kept defending the man by telling us he was a "good guy" and a "teddy bear at heart." That may be their experience with him, but we don't know him. Our experience with him was completely different. What was even more disappointing was when an employee who wasn't even on the clock came over and essentially tried to minimize the situation, explaining that they prioritize the pool players. That was probably the most telling part of the entire experience. If pool is the priority over paying customers sitting at the bar, that's certainly the establishment's choice. But customers should not be expected to tolerate someone repeatedly invading their personal space simply because that person is taking a pool shot. And when a woman tells a man he is touching her and asks him to move, the response should not be to tell HER to move. After coming here since 2024, this experience was extremely disappointing and completely changed how we view this place. read more

Bartender Jules is rude asf And upon reading the other bad reviews regarding her (going back to 4 years ago), I am so surprised she is still working there As a business owner, she would have been fired a long time ago. I was sitting at a bar table watching my friend play pool And she came up to me and said that i never spend money there that my friend is always buying me drinks And i looked at her confused cuz wtf i couldn't believe she would just come up to me and say something like that Since i was i shock and hadn't said anything she asked me "why are you looking at me like i'm fucking stupid?" She snatched my drink and said "get the fuck out of here" FYI I have bought my own drinks w the 2 male bartenders and 3 other female bartenders Just happens to be that when I do go and Jules is bartending, my friend buys me drinks. I went to this bar to support my coworker who was performing with his band, and honestly, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. When my boyfriend and I arrived, the guy at the door said there was a $10 admission fee, which we didn't mind paying because we wanted to support the band. But here's the thing -- he never even checked our IDs. Then, after sitting there for about 30-45 minutes, a lady from the bar came all the way over to check our IDs, even though we were sitting far from the bar and not drinking. Why wasn't this done at the door? What if I hadn't been 21 -- would they have just kicked me out and kept my $10? To make it worse, the guy at the door told us that "everything you give goes to the bands playing." I asked my coworker later, and he said they didn't get paid by the bar at all -- only whatever tips they made from a small bucket they brought themselves. That's super disappointing and misleading. Also, the bar itself felt very outdated, and even the little game machine inside cost extra to play. For a place that's charging a cover, you'd think they'd treat guests and performers better. I really wanted to enjoy the night and support my coworker, but the whole experience was unorganized and kind of sketchy. Definitely wouldn't go back. read more

First time here. I liked the place and I would not only return but, would recommend to friends and strangers alike. This place is larger on the inside then the front would lead you to believe. It hosts a large bar that runs most of the depth of the building. They had 2 bartenders on duty and a decent crowd. I bought a round for my friends and the barkeeps, who were highly professional, ensured that the wait wasn't long at all. I almost want to add an apology since I didn't truly look all around the venue due to my having to work with a band during my visit. Yes, I was here to help three of my friends who were performing in what is, to me, the best of the Ramones tributes in Greater L.A. (they play only the hardest of the Ramones punk catalog... and after all isn't that what punk is all about? - asks a guy who grew up greater NYC, and seeing the Ramones in the city was a routine thing). The only negative on the night was the parking lot, it is small but, it delivered a large headache because I got boxed in. Interesting bar. Second time I come here on a Sunday because they have a DJ and karaoke. Alcohol prices are a great price compared to most bars, but the ambiance is something off. I attempted to get the bartender's attention multiple times, but she seemed preoccupied with personal matters with what looked like a friend sitting on the bar top. Multiple times when I finally got her attention, she was rude and dismissive, almost like I was bothering her. I was with a group of friends, and everyone's interaction with her was the same. As the night was ending, and I asked to close my tab, she grabbed my half-filled cup of beer and said, "Close out time to go." It wasn't even last call. I then asked if everything was all right, and she said, "Don't give me attitude, or I'll kick you out." Horrible customer service! This is a dive bar. They have pool tables and a nice stage setup for bands. Here's why I give it 5 stars. Prices. The beers I bought (I think Modelo) were five bucks. Who sells beers for that price any more? Sound system. Also, I played there with my band and the sound system and stage were well above average for a place like this. Somebody really likes music over there and is willing to spend some $$ to make us sound good. They also had .. get this. A sound guy! Went in a Friday night with a group of friend. Convenient location, parking ok, clean place. Most importantly, the drinks were on par, and the girl bartender very friendly. I had old fashioned all night, nice and strong. Live music with this band called Kopy Katz, and I must say, they are very good and got people to dance and really enjoy themselves, very engaging! Dive bar to be sure, but that's not a bad thing. The waitress was fast and always acknowledged me even if I had to wait. The drinks were very good... not too strong, not too weak, Just Right. The pool tables need some TLC and their placement in front of the bar is...inconvenient, especially when they're busy. The crowd at the bar is "in the way" And when there's live music the dancers congregate too closely also. Not a huge deal, but if you're there to shoot pool just be prepared. The band was outta sight! Ax through the Hood played and they were great! Good selection of songs-mostly current "rock". The Lead Singer Deanna has got an incredible voice and can belt out a rocker right before she sings a sweet song-the range!!! Note to the owners: if the 2 pool tables were set up at the far end of the bar AWAY from the entrance, towards the restrooms, one table long ways along the back wall and the other off set short ways across from the other. You increase the size of your dance floor, you take unnecessary traffic away from the bar and the pool players can go on uninterrupted. Just a thought read more

Ok here's the deal with this place... Shianna was the bartender and what a happy, positive little person she is! Only 2 beer each and let me tell you why... the smell in the place is unbearable! It smells like mildew or sewer drains... so so so bad! Hopefully the owner can see this and get it fixed. Honestly, we would've stayed longer and ordered more, but neither o e of us could stomach that smell. There was a party of 4 next to us who said the same thing - they had one drink each and had to go. It's really bad! That's 5 customers who would have ordered 5 more drinks. The bartender that was working Wednesday day shift was very rude, ignored people ant told then the can wait while play some coaster game with her friends needs to be fired. If I worked for tips, I would make sure every patron I had coming in while I was working got what they needed. That way I would make more money. Bobby's Vs is a great place to go and grab quality drinks at an affordable price, but what makes this place truly amazing is the staff that help create the nights you talk about for weeks with smile on your face. She is rude and always drunk, and I mean wasted. She was moopy and had no energy tonight ... as I saw her drink from a high noon seltzer, she complained about "A horrible night"" ....keep in mind we only come here cuz it's close to work, and coworkers are locals and live literally down the street& wanna hang out. Not only did tonight take 10m to greet me and the bar was empty! But Poor service and even worst attitude. Please do better, as you are a community local bar.... I will let the neighbor know not to come as long as she works here! Tonight was crazy BOBBY! She was wasted and kicked me out because her "friend" said I shoved her. Came here after having dinner at Anaheim Packing district. We came for the live music which was unfortunately cancelled but some patrons did say they usually have a cover band on Fridays and Punk bands Saturdays. This place is a typical neighborhood bar but the pool tables were nice and the drink prices were reasonable. Overall good not great spot to hang out. read more

My only feedback would be that it was a bit too loud in there to have conversation, so dropping the volume a bit would be nice.
