I was sitting at a bar table watching my friend play pool And she came up to me and said that i never spend money there that my friend is always buying me drinks And i looked at her confused cuz wtf i couldn't believe she would just come up to me and say something like that Since i was i shock and hadn't said anything she asked me "why are you looking at me like i'm fucking stupid?" And i replied "cuz you're being rude..." She snatched my drink and said "get the fuck out of here" FYI I have bought my own drinks w the 2 male bartenders and 3 other female bartenders Just happens to be that when I do go and Jules is bartending, my friend buys me drinks. Mind you she works only 3 nights of the week so of course she doesn't see me every time I go to the bar. She obviously must have been drunk and in a bad mood but gives her no right to talk to people like that ESPECIALLY customers By the way, she upcharges your tab so please be careful and don't be serviced by her! read more

Husband I love coming here. It's our go to bar now. Staff is great and the locals are so friendly.

I went to this bar to support my coworker who was performing with his band, and honestly, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. When my boyfriend and I arrived, the guy at the door said there was a $10 admission fee, which we didn't mind paying because we wanted to support the band. But here's the thing -- he never even checked our IDs. Then, after sitting there for about 30-45 minutes, a lady from the bar came all the way over to check our IDs, even though we were sitting far from the bar and not drinking. Why wasn't this done at the door? What if I hadn't been 21 -- would they have just kicked me out and kept my $10? To make it worse, the guy at the door told us that "everything you give goes to the bands playing." I asked my coworker later, and he said they didn't get paid by the bar at all -- only whatever tips they made from a small bucket they brought themselves. That's super disappointing and misleading. Also, the bar itself felt very outdated, and even the little game machine inside cost extra to play. For a place that's charging a cover, you'd think they'd treat guests and performers better. I really wanted to enjoy the night and support my coworker, but the whole experience was unorganized and kind of sketchy. Definitely wouldn't go back. read more

First and foremost lemme say, this spot is very friendly, comforting and inviting! The owner Bobby is known to step in and say hi to everyone! Hes chill and also, keeps things on track! If u have an issue, he will address it ASAP and cares about his establishment and customers!.and lets not leave out the Bartenders whom which he is fair and treats everyone w kindness and respect. OH and may i mention the prices? First time here. I liked the place and I would not only return but, would recommend to friends and strangers alike. This place is larger on the inside then the front would lead you to believe. It hosts a large bar that runs most of the depth of the building. They had 2 bartenders on duty and a decent crowd. I bought a round for my friends and the barkeeps, who were highly professional, ensured that the wait wasn't long at all. I almost want to add an apology since I didn't truly look all around the venue due to my having to work with a band during my visit. Yes, I was here to help three of my friends who were performing in what is, to me, the best of the Ramones tributes in Greater L.A. (they play only the hardest of the Ramones punk catalog... and after all isn't that what punk is all about? - asks a guy who grew up greater NYC, and seeing the Ramones in the city was a routine thing). The only negative on the night was the parking lot, it is small but, it delivered a large headache because I got boxed in. Interesting bar. Second time I come here on a Sunday because they have a DJ and karaoke. Alcohol prices are a great price compared to most bars, but the ambiance is something off. I attempted to get the bartender's attention multiple times, but she seemed preoccupied with personal matters with what looked like a friend sitting on the bar top. Multiple times when I finally got her attention, she was rude and dismissive, almost like I was bothering her. I was with a group of friends, and everyone's interaction with her was the same. As the night was ending, and I asked to close my tab, she grabbed my half-filled cup of beer and said, "Close out time to go." It wasn't even last call. I then asked if everything was all right, and she said, "Don't give me attitude, or I'll kick you out." Horrible customer service! I do not recommend coming here if you're trying to have a peaceful night. read more

This is a dive bar. They have pool tables and a nice stage setup for bands. Here's why I give it 5 stars. Prices. The beers I bought (I think Modelo) were five bucks. Who sells beers for that price any more? Sound system. Also, I played there with my band and the sound system and stage were well above average for a place like this. Somebody really likes music over there and is willing to spend some $$ to make us sound good. They also had .. get this. A sound guy! Dive bar to be sure, but that's not a bad thing. The waitress was fast and always acknowledged me even if I had to wait. The drinks were very good... not too strong, not too weak, Just Right. The pool tables need some TLC and their placement in front of the bar is...inconvenient, especially when they're busy. The crowd at the bar is "in the way" And when there's live music the dancers congregate too closely also. Not a huge deal, but if you're there to shoot pool just be prepared. The band was outta sight! Ax through the Hood played and they were great! Good selection of songs-mostly current "rock". The Lead Singer Deanna has got an incredible voice and can belt out a rocker right before she sings a sweet song-the range!!! Note to the owners: if the 2 pool tables were set up at the far end of the bar AWAY from the entrance, towards the restrooms, one table long ways along the back wall and the other off set short ways across from the other. You increase the size of your dance floor, you take unnecessary traffic away from the bar and the pool players can go on uninterrupted. Just a thought read more

Went in a Friday night with a group of friend. Convenient location, parking ok, clean place. Most importantly, the drinks were on par, and the girl bartender very friendly. I had old fashioned all night, nice and strong. Live music with this band called Kopy Katz, and I must say, they are very good and got people to dance and really enjoy themselves, very engaging! The bartender that was working Wednesday day shift was very rude, ignored people ant told then the can wait while play some coaster game with her friends needs to be fired. If I worked for tips, I would make sure every patron I had coming in while I was working got what they needed. That way I would make more money. This woman was rude the whole time I was there treating people like shit only to hang out with her little friends in the corner. This is not how the next bartender was that came in after seven she was making sure people were taken care of. Ok here's the deal with this place... Shianna was the bartender and what a happy, positive little person she is! Only 2 beer each and let me tell you why... the smell in the place is unbearable! It smells like mildew or sewer drains... so so so bad! Hopefully the owner can see this and get it fixed. Honestly, we would've stayed longer and ordered more, but neither o e of us could stomach that smell. There was a party of 4 next to us who said the same thing - they had one drink each and had to go. It's really bad! That's 5 customers who would have ordered 5 more drinks. Came here after having dinner at Anaheim Packing district. We came for the live music which was unfortunately cancelled but some patrons did say they usually have a cover band on Fridays and Punk bands Saturdays. This place is a typical neighborhood bar but the pool tables were nice and the drink prices were reasonable. Overall good not great spot to hang out. read more

Loved the venue and the people! The Karaoke DJ/host was OFF THE CHARTS amazing! My only feedback would be that it was a bit too loud in there to have conversation, so dropping the volume a bit would be nice. It sucks to have to write this. It also sucked to have call/write the ABC, and the BBB because this seemed like a fun "nice" dive bar. Everyone is friendly but that does not mean they are competent or have a good moral compass. After being at the bar a few times I was starting to get to know the workers and it was awesome. But one bartender (who shockingly has a job there) gets so wasted on her shift she does is a danger to patrons. I never in a million year would think to be worried that a person (however drunk or high) could get a grey hound wrong.... vodka and grapefruit juice... that is it... This girl made my drink and when I started to have an allergic reaction, I asked the barback what was in my drink because it was NOT what I ordered. At first, he said it was what i ordered I insisted it WAS NOT. He tried it and knew IT WAS NOT. He called the drunk bartender over several times; she finally broke loose from her boyfriend to wonder over to us. When asked what she made me she said grey hound, then I asked what she put in it.. She was giggling while seeing me increasingly having a reaction. SHE DID NOT KNOW. she said maybe Taquilla or maybe mix... still giggling and chopping on her bag of chips I had to leave to get my epi pen and to the ER not knowing exactly what to tell them I ingested... The part about this story that really bothered me, is the OWNER. I know people make mistakes and maybe she does not know how important it is to give people what they order or know what you pour.. BUT i called to tell the bar back i was okay as he was the only one who was the only one concerned. When I called I got the owner, he knew I was there and actually saw everything from his home on the cameras, knew where i was sitting and all.. He is a good liar. He acted concerned, and caring, even said he would cover my ER bill. I told him my insurance should cover it and I really hope this is a teaching moment. Well my insurance did not cover my refill on my epi pen, or my 75 buck co pay.. I called to tell him, hoping he would help with part of the 785 bucks I am now out (not counting the fact they STILL charged me for that drink lol) BUT HE WONT EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE NOW.. the real KICKER is Jules STILL works there getting trashed... BE CAREFULL Y'ALL this place seems fun and everything but they do not care about people or safety.. I really wonder if they even wash, clean, or follow food and safety standards. read more
