Pros: -nice staff -cafe is great -hotel dog Cons: -outdated rooms-- cupboards are tacky and kept falling down, carpet is gross -service was slow-- had to call 3 times for towels to be delivered to our room -they said they would clean our room on day 2 of our stay (less frequent due to Covid, understandable)-- they never cleaned our room during the entire 3 day stay. -rooftop bar was closed every time we tried to go up there. read more

I only came to drink and hangout. I didn't stay overnight and try their food. The drinks were good from what I can remember but to be fair I wasn't sober. It's worth coming here to check out and hangout because it has such a great atmosphere. The lobby is beautiful, there's a pool area with a stationed bus you can explore. Then there's a lounge area with fire pits and games you can play. read more

I stayed here a few weeks ago and the room was super nice. I give it a poor rating because I accidentally left one of my favorite sweaters. My husband called the same day, was told it was not turned in, but they would call him back next day, when that cleaning staff was in. No one ever called back. If you stay here, make sure you don't leave anything behind but I doubt you will get it back. Bad business! read more

This hotel is literally the best hotel ever. I've stayed here three times and it is such an amazing place. The first night we got into town we went out and stayed out until about 2 am. We took a taxi home and had a really aggressive driver who started an altercation with us. AJ was the absolute best and handled the situation professionally and swiftly. The little touches this hotel did were incredible. LJ was so sweet and thoughtful and really made us wish we weren't leaving. read more

Fun experience marred by poor management. Stopped by the rooftop bar to experience the igloos while on vacation. Arrived early as we didn't reserve an igloo and wanted to make sure we got one as they are first come first serve Snagged an igloo and ordered the spiked cider which was AMAZING. Although busy, our server was attentive and we never had to wait very long for drinks. Since the igloos seat a few people my BF and I shared with a couple different groups throughout our night. After having been there for a couple hours we were promptly told we had to leave as a last minute reservation came in! Instead of giving us sometime to finish our drinks the manager? (Not our waitress-she was great) essentially waited impatiently for us and the other group with us to vacate the igloo. I was expecting our bill to be significantly comped for the inconvenience but she made no mention of it and I didn't see it on the tab. The igloos are a fun holiday idea but the management turned a fun experience into a huge hassle. read more

We chose the Bobby Hotel for our 20th Anniversary weekend and I cannot say enough good things about it. We are super picky when it comes to hotels and the Bobby did not disappoint! From the second we pulled up, the staff was amazing -everyone always had a smile on their face and always greeted us and opened doors upon coming or going. We even received a bottle of champagne and chocolates with a handwritten note for our anniversary which was a very nice touch! The lobby was gorgeous, the cafe was super cute and our room was so cool with it's retro decor and glass encased bathroom! We have never seen anything like it. Now let me get to the most important parts - the bed was literally one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in (I compared it to a marshmallow on more than one occasion) and the room was perfectly cool which was great since it was 9,000 degrees outside. Also, we never heard a sound outside of our room and we were on the 9th floor, right below the rooftop bar, so that is saying something. The hotel was also in a great location - a quick walk to downtown. The rooftop was really cool with the retro bus, pool area and bar. The pool (although it was more like a hot tub since it was so hot outside) was a nice added bonus and relaxing after walking around all day. There are personal cabanas and towels provided so no need to pack those. All in all, this is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. We will definitely recommend it and will not stay anywhere else when we visit Nashville again. read more

One star and I'm being generous! This place is charging me $500/night and we have not hot water for 3 days now. Would of checked out if the town was not sold out .... I should of just gone to a motel I would of been better off! Manager on duty Austin Farms is pretty rude and unhelpful. Not customer service whatsoever. Not even apologetic. Save your money or spend your money somewhere else. This place is not worth it unless you like cold showers when it's 30degrees out. read more

Really awesome burger - one of the best in Nashville - and the fries are fantastic! I am a huge fan of the Tavern at Bobby and Bobby Cafe.

Gracie as a server is amazing!! She was so good to us and kind and patient! They were understaffed when we showed up and they still gave us exceptional service. Shoutout to the bartender and our server. Absolutely amazing! Loved the goat cheese dip and the hummus! read more

Just got home from visiting friends in Nashville. I stayed at the Bobby Hotel with my friend. We were super-pumped to stay there - it looks amazing online, and it IS a beautiful hotel, but... 1. The service in both the restaurant and cafe was extremely weak. Every server we had had zero sense of urgency, would forget to bring basic necessities (utensils, butter for English muffins, sugar for coffee, etc...) and when we asked for them, they would disappear for 5 minutes (both times in the restaurant, there were only 2 other tables with patrons). During our first meal there, we ordered a bottle of Veuve Clicqot - by the time she brought the bottle, we were halfway through our meal. 2. During our last night there (we stayed 4 nights) - a. They forgot to clean our room, while we were out for the day; and b. A security guard was accidentally sent to our room at 1:45am for a noise complaint (my friend and I were literally just watching a show on my iPad!), which scared the crap out of us (hearing a knock and a man's voice at our door at nearly 2 in the morning!). This hotel is nearly $450 a night - way too much for the kind of experience we had. Although it is beautiful, we would never stay there again. read more

I gave this hotel the benefit of the doubt and spoke to the front desk about my frustrations. We checked in Friday, July 6 and as of Sunday night at 11pm, our room had been cleaned once (even though we have been gone all day). Our supposedly "upgrade" sent us to a room that had a tiny window that was a looking directly to the neighbors patio. As in, their chairs were facing our bedroom window. We had no natural light besides this. Insane. The wallpaper was falling off the wall. We complained about this, and nothing was done about it. There are no fitted sheets on the bed. Just mattress pad and flat sheet. So when you wake up... you're on the mattress pad. When I talked to the front desk (before posting complaint), nothing was done. Instead the excuse was given "sorry this is our first time working at a hotel". The night manager, Curtis, said "Is this the first time complaining about this? I don't know the difference between fitted sheet and flat sheet." I am from Houston and usually only stay at boutique hotels when visiting places. This was a poor decision on our part. We should have stayed at a chain like the Omni because this stay has been so disappointing. ONLY good service were the guys working at the front door helping with bags and doors. read more

My husband and I chose the Bobby for a recent "staycation." We were looking for something a little different and the Bobby delivered. The staff was amazing! Very engaging, friendly, and helpful. When booking they noted on our reservation that we would love an upgrade if available upon our arrival. They accommodated this without us even having to ask when we got there which we so appreciated. SO we got a free upgrade! The Bobby atmosphere is pretty casual and comfortable which we liked as we weren't looking for a formal weekend. The lobby is gorgeous and the rooftop bar is a must see. We didn't have a chance to try any of the restaurants on property but plan on doing that next time. Couple of tips/CONS before you book your stay! You may want to pack some shin guards. You WILL bash a shin on the bed frame before you leave so be prepared. We read some reviews warning of this issue and STILL managed to do it. My husband will be limping for days. For the love. The bathroom situation..and yes, i am referring to every bathroom in all the rooms in the hotel (because i did ask). The bathroom is basically encased with pieces of rectangle shaped glass. Some are "frosted" but some are completely clear; however, there is no privacy for the bathroom. Zero. This wasn't an issue for us, but i could imagine it would be for many. You can see the toilet clear as day from just about everywhere in the room. LOL. There isn't a bellman so if you have lots of luggage it may be a problem. there isn't a coffee maker in the room. You can order coffee service although it isn't cheap. Favorite things about this boutique hotel! Rooftop bar is cool. Our room was enormous and so clean and new. It was a deluxe room which is one grade above the standard. The decor is really cool! Modern and trendy. Super comfortable bed and bedding. I love that they provide free bottled waters on a table near the elevators and also offer you some as you return to the hotel. Its the little things that sometimes make the biggest impact. The staff!!!! Amazing. I could have chatted with them all day. We loved our stay here and would definitely book it again! As a Nashville native, we loved getting to explore our city as guests! read more

I decided to take my husband to Nashville for our Christmas/anniversary present this year, and I'm so glad I chose to stay at Bobby! It was by far one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The beds were super comfortable, the hotel was spacious, and everyone who worked there was friendly. The location is perfect, as it's walkable to Music Row but right in the heart of Printer's Alley, which was a bit more our style/pace for going out. There are plenty of good restaurants close by but honestly the food/drink options in the hotel were so good you don't necessarily need to venture outside if you don't want to - and I'm picky about my food & drink options! I can't wait to go back. read more

Beautiful hotel! Rooms were spotless and staff was warm and friendly. We were treated like family and will never stay anywhere but here when we visit Nashville. read more

Expensive, snooty, not chill. Drinks are nothing special. Not worth being surrounded by the obnoxious people in here.

This review is for the restaurant only. The menu was limited and boring, the wait staff were pretentious, cranky and slow, and I paid $8 for literally a one inch piece of cheese. Hotel looks fun, rooftop bar looked like a place to be. But please save yourself and go somewhere else for dinner. read more

Loved this hotel! Beautiful decor. Comfy beds and pillows. Lobby and stairway are mesmerizing. Would recommend. I had a great stay. It is 3 blocks away from Broadway and the River. The only thing I didn't not like was their Cafe pastries and hot chocolate. Loved this hotel! The roof top is espectacular. read more

Never staying here again. Nothing like a glass wall to watch your other half going number one or two. Plus you hear everything. It's especially terrible if you need to pee in the middle of the night. You turn the light and the entire room lights up waking the other person. Does the glass wall look cool? Yes, but is it a complete design fail - yes! read more

Such an incredibly unique hotel with a super friendly staff and delicious food!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is so central to anything downtown as we walked everywhere easily. The food is soo delicious and the rooftop bar area is the coolest!!! read more

Stopped in for a drink our first night in Nashville. I ordered the Behind the Farmhouse okc tail on their custom cocktail list. It was excellent! The atmosphere and wait staff were extremely friendly and kind. The manager actually came by as we were paying and asked if we wanted a tour of the Garage Bar in the basement even though it was closed. it was very cool and definitely a place we'd like to visit again! read more

Wow, just WOW. Bobby Hotel sets the standard for hotels all over the place. From the moment we entered to the moment we left, it was amazing. The bed was comfy, in fact we got the best sleep away from home ever at this hotel. We had a HUGE room with a king bed on a higher floor. Honestly, If I come back to Nashville, I would stay here over and over again. Every single site I can leave a review on to let people know about this hotel, I will do it. The food was good, the only downside was my burger was not cooked as much as I would have like. However, the manager without a doubt, deducted it from the bill. The front desk folks are awesome, I wish I would have wrote down their names. If you are considering this hotel, do it- you will not be disappointed. read more

For my 30th birthday, the husband and I had reservations for a personal igloo and skating event for Thursday 12/16/2021. We got off work and just hung around the area until it was our time. Unfortunately around 6.00 pm it started to rain. We didn't think much of it because no one had notified us that plans had changed. Looking at our credit card statement, my husband sees a pending refund from the hotel, and starts to kind of freak out. We call the hotel and ask what is going on, the representative on the line exclaims that the event has been closed, and we are getting a refund. All understandable, her tone and rudeness very not needed. We ask about keeping our deposit with them and going a different night. She tells us that is not a thing, proceeds to not help us, and hangs up. I was looking so forward to this night, but will certainly not be looking to book another reservation. read more

What a fun hotel!!!! We had a "staycation" there, after attending a concert downtown & truly enjoyed ! Our room was wonderful-very comfortable. The staff is super courteous & accommodating. I have only one suggestion & that would be to improve their valet service a bit. Will be back!! read more

This was our second time staying at the Bobby Hotel. We stayed two years ago and enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Unfortunately our recent trip in November was not the same experience we had before. The staff seemed inexperienced and when asking questions did not have full answers. We encountered a few attitudes with the staff which is unfortunate. Missing necessities in the hotel room which they did replace. I'm not sure if we will stay a third time. This is an expensive hotel worth the price with the right customer service. read more

Hotel in general was very beautiful. Customer service was great as well as the food I had at the Cafe in the lobby area. The areas I was not really impressed with was the cleanliness of my room as well as the perks of things inside the room. Before my stay I received a survey from Bobby Hotel asking questions to help make my stay more personalized. I thought that was really cool, so I filled it out. I mentioned that I am 8 months pregnant and this would be a staycation for my dog Nougat and I. The questions asked were along the lines of, would you like normal turndown service, what kind of music I liked, do I have an animal accompanying me, etc. It even asked if I wanted to have dog toys or treats for my fur baby which I obviously checked yes to both! I asked to have extra pillows so I could sleep better at night. I thought it was awesome that they send these out to personalize your room. Well I honestly didn't see the point of the survey because non of my requests were received. I thought they would have at least had the extra pillows or maybe a note on the bar saying to enjoy my staycation. Or something personalized. Oh, to give you a visual, I booked a one-bedroom suite for two nights. So imagine my surprise when I walked in and to see the room and I love everything about it but it just didn't seem as clean as I would have thought especially during COVID. The mini bar was not stocked at all. According to photos online it looked like I was supposed to have small snacks, tea options, coffee options and water. The only thing I had was two bottles of water. The tables and sinks had streak marks, there was a small hair in the kitchen sink (I know for sure was not mine since I have pink hair), some kind of dirt residue on the wall in the bathroom and a tremendous amount of cup rings on the tables. I mean overall the room was beautiful and I absolutely loved the bath tub. Just disappointed with the cleanliness and confused what the point of the personalized survey was for since I didn't receive anything personalized or any mini bar things. I'm normally not a person who complains about stuff but considering the amount of money I spent I felt the need to note my experience. I use to work at 21c Museum Hotel in Nashville and just knowing how we always tried to go above and beyond with our guests made me realize how I wish I received that kind of service. read more

Unexceptional. $500 for one night and I've had better amenities and rooms at La Quinta Inn. The only positives were the pillows were good and the crappy mirror in the bathroom made me laugh ridiculously because it was like a funhouse mirror. The employees were exceptional...great service. Just overpriced for what you get. read more

I stayed here with my boyfriend and it was a horrible experience. At least $1000 worth of clothes were stolen from the room I stayed in and no one did anything at all to help me. The staff and security refused to take and accountability or even offer apologies. I would definitely never recommend staying here to a friend. If you like your stuff being stolen though, this is a great place to book a room. Would give 0 stars if possible. read more

Best place for drinks on the roof! My husband and I went to the Bobby after it was recommended by our food tour guide. What a fun venue, we had delicious cocktails and drank them in the bus. If we had come with friends we would have played some of the "lawn" games. We even say poolside for a while. Lots of places just on the roof to enjoy the city view and people watch. read more

Be careful leaving valuable items in the rooms here. I had close to a thousand dollars worth of clothing stolen from my room. And the concierge, in this case a woman named "Diana" will not be helpful at all retrieving your valuables back. read more

Loved this hotel! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar are super cool! There are old trains to sit in and the staff is very attentive. We were always greeted at the door and we were emailed by some of the staff prior to our arrival asking for more information about our stay. Since we were on our honeymoon an iced bottle of champagne was waiting for us on arrival! Rooms were very cool and spacey, the only thing that would be weird if you stayed with another couple in a room would be the bathroom. It's separated from the room by glass panels but you can clearly see the outline of a person and hear everything. Over all a great experience and location (easy walk to broadway) and we would definitely stay again! read more

Such a great contemporary place to stay, not to mention you're greeted by a rescue dog when you check in

Went to Nashville to get away for the weekend. Sad to see how COVID has shut down the town. Bobby was our saving grace. We were sitting close to the Chandelier and was greeted by Jerrica who offered the best customer service we have seen in awhile. She offered us something to drink and was more than gracious with her hospitality. Great personality which is an asset to the Bobby Hotel and Bar. She gave us some helpful info on what was open in the area. So grateful for that time with her. She made our experience memorable. Please let her know how valuable she is to your establishment. read more

First time for my family/ friends to come to this hotel and it was absolutely awful. Friday we check we in and as I was using the bathroom I look over and there's a huge toenail in the corner. My guess is the house cleaners were rushed or just half assed cleaned either way I was disgusted. I noticed while I was getting ready the air seemed to be blowing but not cold air I thought maybe I was still hot from walking around. later that night we come back and it was still hot so I call the front desk and my sister and I got o change rooms. I immediately noticed how colder the nee room was. My mom noticed her room wasn't cold either so she called the front desk too, A man that works here barged into my moms room pushed past my sisters best friend then opened the bathroom after my mom saying "my friend is sick in there" then another lady said "both airs in each room are working". My mom was shocked and said to get the hell out of the rooms and then she got threaded to be kicked out for cussing?? Saturday morning they pulled my mom into their office and named off all the things we did wrong. Not once did the lady say sorry or try to make things right. Costumers are always right no matter what. We all got new rooms and the air still isn't blowing cold air nothing worse than sleeping when your hot. Here are some other things I didn't like about this hotel, no ice on the floors, was only given 2 towels to shower, no iron, shitty outside/ inside lighting, no smart TV, and the mini fridge never worked in the new room, This is the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel I do not recommend staying here unless you want to sweat at night lol. read more

Did not stay here as a guest. Stopped in for dinner as a walk in. Was directed by a friendly host to a communal table. Menu looked good.
