First off, under new management, so I was curious to see the differences as I've been a long time customer. I got the taro milk tea and lemon green tea both with boba. Drinks in general are delicious so four stars for that but the boba used to be honey boba and now they are generic rubber tasting so that's disappointing. Boba is the main sell of a boba place so it better be good. Drinks are same price as most other boba place about $6. Service was a little off. The girl in front wasn't sure if the creamer was dairy free. Had trouble answering questions for the customers after me. Another worker there seemed like he had trouble understanding orders. Not a bad place if you want a quick drink, but I don't recommend the boba itself. Hope they read this review and consider going back to the original honey boba! read more

I run in and ask for a lemonade and ask him to make it as quick as possible with an explanation of my moms situation. This place looked awesome so I thought I'd stop in the other day to take a peek. This place is a little hidden behind Citibank on Soledad, so you can easily miss it in this extremely busy area. I will say the good first, and employ you all to try it yourself, but must mention the cons too. I ended up with a really bad stomach ache, but don't want to say it was them necessarily the drink though it was VERY SWEET. First time at this boba shop and when we walked in it smelled like bathroom. The people who walked in ahead of us covered their nose. We figured we'd order our boba on their touch systems and be out quick. We ordered our 2 teas at 3:06 pm and by the time we got it it was 3:25. There was only 4 parties of 2 or 1 person ahead of us. 3 employees working and somehow it took 19 minutes to get a jasmine milk tea with no modifications and a peach fruit tea at 50% sugar. The peach tea was SO sweet there was no way it was less sweetened and I had to go back to have my Jasmine milk tea remade because it was just milk. The older gentleman who remade it was nice but must not know what it should taste like because it was just barely better than the first one. Decided not to waste my time any further. Definitely not a place that knows how to properly make tea/milk tea. Take your money somewhere else. read more

My more recent visits have been great. They now have order kiosks to help automate the process so there's less interaction w/ those working behind the counter. Their prices are slightly higher than other local boba joints, but their standard sizes are a little larger and you can customize the level of sweetness for your drinks. Used to go here almost weekly when I was in highschool, so seeing as it's under NEW MANAGEMENT now I was excited to see how it changed! Firstly, old location was fun but usually a little run down looking, I appreciate the new and cleaned up atmosphere here. Tables are a little small, I hope they include some bigger ones in the future for groups of friends to be able to sit down together. As for drinks, big fan of the self checkout kiosks (also with chairs, really thoughtful for us physically challenged.) I got thai tea and my husband got the strawberry mango smoothie. Not the flavor thai tea I was expecting but very yummy, it's more creamy and has "ice cream" undertones to it, which might explain there was no different milk option on the kiosks. For myself in the future I would get less sweetener but will happily finish my drink today. My husband on the other hand thought his smoothie was a perfect amount of sweet, not too much and not too sour. It was very refreshing and amazing with crystal boba. Not a bad spot! I don't normally go for fruity drinks but wanted to get something different compared to my usual coffee or milk tea drinks. Honeydew is probably the most fruit I can tolerate LOL but it's got a good flavor! Tons of parking in this plaza! I was a bit worried at first because a lot of places use a powder base and it just isn't that great. This one, however, had a great flavor and did not disappoint! The boba texture is also delicious. Super chewy and doesn't just give. It's fun trying new boba spots! I definitely want to try more of the coffee/milk tea flavors in the future if I'm ever in the area again. Can't really tell you as of when but currently UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. If there's anything you read from my review, I hope it's what is in caps. I've visited 2 times in 3 days, and so far so good on the consistency of service and food/drinks. First off, the main pros that shouldn't go unnoticed: 1. They are working as a team now. I'm pretty certain "New Management" really knows how to train staff. 2. For sure they are adding fruit jam or jelly but they also changed up the recipe. It used to taste like powdered boba...if they still using powdered flavors then kudos to the drink not separating like it used to. Used to separate like blood in a centrifuge on the car ride home. No such issues so far. 3. Of all the popcorn chicken places, my kids like it here. I don't know why, but this is where they like it. I personally give it a 4.2/5. But it's about the kids. No fried herbs or other toppings, just a nicely fried popcorn chicken. Can make it spicy too, if you like. I wonder what kind of oil they use for frying. I enjoy getting boba here. The workers are really kind and patient, especially because it usually takes me a second to figure out what I want (I usually end up getting the taro smoothie anyway). I love that they added the order kiosks, which makes ordering quick and easy. I do wish, however, that boba was automatically added to the order and could be removed, rather than it taking an additional step to get boba as an add-on to your drink. I've accidentally forgotten to add boba to my drink, and while it was still good, it definitely wasn't ideal. The boba itself is pretty good, but it's nothing to write home about. My one complaint is that they usually play their music so loudly. It almost gives me a headache, especially when I have to wait inside for my food orders that have taken up to 20 minutes to be ready. It's a shame, they have such a pretty set up inside. I feel like more people might hang out or do homework there without the 2010s pop blaring so loudly. read more

The drinks are only one size, but they are larger than most Boba places I have gone to and for the price it is a great deal! The one draw back is I wanted popcorn chicken, it shows on the yelp menu that they have popcorn chicken, but when I tried to order it, they said they do not have it anymore. really wanted it so bad. Popcorn chicken goes so good with Boba. We got two Strawberry Smoothies, a Peach Slushy and a Taro Milk tea , they all tasted really good, the peach one was very sweet if anything, probably would not get that one again. But the Strawberry and Taro was very good. They have so many different varieties of boba and drink flavor, something for everyone. The first thing I noticed about this place was it's very cute and bright decor. It's very modern and appealing to children, and women. They have a large menu of smoothies, but the choices of flavors are not overwhelming. The service was good and my baristas were nice, young men. Nice for when you are in a pinch but definitely not a go-to type of place. I ordered a jasmine milk tea from here. It was easily one of the more tasteless milk teas I've ever had. There was hardly any jasmine flavor yet alone any tea flavor. It's not purely imagined. I slept like a baby that night, while even the caffeine in a weak tea will usually keep me up for a bit. This is our boba spot, it might be a little more than boba time but the drink size and quality makes up for proce difference. I posted a review previously of this place during the pandemic and it's gotten much better since then. The workers aren't always the friendliest or always greet you but now that they have self kiosks I guess they technically don't really need to since they're just there to make the drinks now and don't need to have customer service. The boba has been good lately, in my last review I said I had gotten undercooked boba a few times but lately I haven't so I don't really have anything to complain about.
