This is the best boba place I've tried hands down been on both coasts for my boba rush cravings, nothing can match the quality, the quantity, the price and the service of this family owned boba shop in Cincy. Everything is made out of fresh ingredients and the boba was the perfect texture and tasting to my liking. They take their time to suggest which ingredient taste better with which ingredient when you want to switch up the menu that they have. The best thing is that they don't charge extra for the toppings. I hate to be that person but I came in like a min before the shop closed since I was leaving Cincy the next day and needed to buy one more although I have plenty of boba shops back home, I just couldn't get enough of boba cha! This is the absolute best boba shop I've ever been to, and I've visited them all over the US from NYC to Houston to Seattle. The boba and the tea is made here with love by Ingrid and Diana. I got the black milk tea with boba at 75% sugar level because if you can't do the original correctly the other stuff probably won't turn out good. But, the tea flavor came out great. The boba was soft and chewy. Not much boba given, but the price point is pretty good for a large cup with boba. The only thing I thought was interesting was that the boba wasn't cooked with sugar. Usually boba is cooked with brown sugar, but the boba here was tasteless. I don't think it's a bad thing but it's a different take on boba. The manager works quickly and greets everyone warmly. The space is pretty small and there's not much of a seating area, so don't expect to sit down there for long. Most people come and go to grab their drink. Former owner of Tea N Bowl in Clifton, left to start her own shop to expand and focus on what she does best -- bubble tea! With more options than you could ever imagine this tiny shop makes a big splash. With milk options like: coconut, taro, and sea salt foam to fruit options like passionfruit, lychee, honeydew and so many more, there is certainly something for everyone! We opted for the honeydew milk tea and mixed the passionfruit lychee fruit tea and both were bursting with fresh flavor. I could not understand how the honeydew was so fresh and she explained that many of the fruit purees she makes and freezes herself at peak freshness so no matter what time of year you can get a delicious, fresh bubble tea. She also explained to us the benefits of tea in general and introduced us to her line of cleanses and detox programs in which are totally unique to her store. My boyfriend and I came in the other day, but we didn't expect to have a pleasant conversation with the owner! I was naturally curious about the different types of drinks they had here, and she was informative and extremely friendly to us. They only opened last year, but it seems like the family genuinely loves their job and are masters in their field. It's refreshing to see the bubble tea made in front of you -- they use all fresh ingredients. You can order plain, snow, or slush (soy alt.): snow and slush are both made frozen, but creamer or milk is added to snow to give it a consistency of a milkshake. I ordered the almond snow tea, but the owner actually recommended that if I like coconut, both flavors go well together. She wasn't wrong, this combo tastes amazing! The tapioca pearls are perfectly chewy, and the drink wasn't overly sweet -- an easy thing to mess up on when using coconut. If you want to stay, there is limited seating, but it's just as fast and easy to order to-go. I will definitely be back and hope this place opens up more opportunities for bubble tea in Cincinnati. You'll get four frozen servings of a variety of flavors. I always thaw mine overnight in the fridge and drink it for breakfast. It worked like a charm when I was trying to lose my baby weight. It's worth noting, it can be a little overwhelming with all of the options, but thankfully, the person helping us acknowledged that and gave us some help and the space to make a decision. It's a bit tricky to find street parking near by but you can park by OTR and walk over since it's super close. It's relatively small but it's well decorated and equipped to make the best bubble tea you can find in Cincinnati. My go to is Black Milk tea with boba. I like it hot or cold. Billions of flavors you can pick from but I like it basic and simple. Level of sweetness can be alter to your liking! The bubble is always on point unlike other places here in Cincinnati. This is my favorite place to get bubble tea in Cincy! The actual store is a little run down but the owner is slowly making improvements. I love that you can get your tea hot or cold and the flavor combinations are endless. My go to is a coconut almond hot tea with regular boba. Its seriously delicious, my boyfriend who is not an adventurous eater, tried bubble tea for the first time here and is now obsessed.
