Dishonest and awful. Overall they have no accountability, lack of professional customer service,…read moregodawful diagnostics, and abysmal integrity. To be precise, my mother went in to have my brother's Switch repaired, which to anyone obvious it's a USBC-Port issue which Google claims UBreakiFix can in fact fix - they don't ask any questions, plug a chip into the device, claim it's the battery, then take the device. She paid 140, wasn't even called that the repairs were done, then after picked up and plugged in at home, the Switch still doesn't work. She calls, no refunds, they tell her they can't do USBC repairs, which is absolutely ridiculous. Instead of offering at least half the 'repair' price back or the entire thing free of charge since they didn't even fix the issue, they simply say 'no can do'. These guys could've at least tested after 'repair' that the battery was even the issue and gave a call and stated so, even directed us to another place that has people who do microsoldering to fix the issue, because the issue CAN be fixed - they either don't have anyone with the knowledge to do the repair or quite frankly, they enjoy ripping people off. Multiple negative reviews that exist about UBreak follow this trend, so our fault I guess, but DO NOT take your devices here if you want honest work done. These guys will rip you off; fail to fix the issue, do nothing, pretend to be courteous in a response to their negative review, and overall fail to make up for their shortcomings. DO NOT take your devices here.

I came here despite my better judgment after having a negative experience years ago. But I figured…read moreit had been a while and maybe it was better now. They have a cheaper diagnosis fee than most other places, so I budged and brought a MacBook Pro in. I bought this second hand and was told only the screen needed replacing BUT it wouldn't turn on at all so I thought it might be something else. I dropped it off August 3rd and was told I would be called in 2-3 days with the issue. Days went by and nothing. I waited till the following week and called on the 8th. Whoever answered didn't ask my name and just said they were busy and would call me when it was done. I asked for an approximate because it had already been almost a week. He said for sure by that following Wednesday. I waited and waited and still nothing. I call again on the 18th, two weeks after drop off. Again, whoever picked up (because they don't state their names), tells me, oh yea, they looked at it but want to look at it one more time. I highly doubt it was looked at to begin with. Morgan calls me back 30 minutes later and tells me the motherboard needs to be replaced and I can pick it up whenever. When I go to pick it up, the customer service is non-existent. The technician grabs my laptop and says "did anyone tell you this was unrepairable?" I tell him no and he states, "yea, we can't repair it." I asked it that would be printed out for me and he said no. They only provide a receipt and no info on the diagnosis and their system doesn't allow that. Maybe other locations are good and actually possess customer service, but do yourself a favor and avoid this location.
