This place was my last resort so I came by and explained to them what the issue was and dropped my phone off. The next day they called me and told me they were able to turn my phone on and now it's been working just like normal. I personally want to thank them for their service and fixing what seemed to be a lost cause. You have to watch some of these places, they tell you your phone can't be repaired or they buy the phone from you and say they will scrap it for its parts but really they know what's wrong and will fix it and keep the phone to resell at another time. That wasn't the case with them here and I look forward to doing business with them in the future if any of my electronics have another malfunction. Extremely professional and courteous!! I immed. replaced the batteries in the remote, with no change. I unplugged everything and plugged it all back in with no change. The TV would turn on only to one channel, but would not respond to the Volume, Channel Change or On/Off Button. I dropped the widescreen, recent model flat TV off to Kellys and explained the symtoms and what I had tried. Andre told me he would take care of it. He charges $85 for the diagnosis and extra for parts needed. Okay. That sounded reasonable. I got a call from him the next day, telling me that the TV needed 2 parts that would need to be ordered for a total of two hundred and some dollars. As he was saying this, I got the feeling of the commercial where the car mechanic tells the woman that her "flux capacitor" needs replacing. I called my youngest son and he responded, "Mom, that just doesn't sound right! It doesn't make sense with the symptoms that you told me. If that part wasn't working, you wouldn't be able to turn the tv on. The remote just needs to be reprogrammed every 5-6 months." He talked to Andre who gave him a bunch of double-talk as to why those parts were bad. My kid told Andre he would pick up the tv immediately, which he did. He was charged $85 for a false diagnosis. He tried to give Andre a graceful "out", but Andre didn't take it. He stuck to his "flux capacitor" story and my kid brought my tv home. Andre had simply reprogrammed the remote (which is what my son said it needed) and now every other part of the tv was working fine. And has continued to be working with that simply remote programming. This shop should be put out of business. I would NEVER recommend someone who has the complete lack of integrity to smile at my face and knowing stab me in the back! Zero stars!!

I agreed to his price, and he knew what help we needed. Alex was a no-show. I was worried and called a few times. No reply back. I waited for a couple of hours in case there was a good reason and because I had waited several days to get this work done. I even called later in the afternoon to give him a chance to let me know what happened. Several calls into him without the courtesy of a return call. That all happened six days ago, so no excuses at this point. Meanwhile, I lost valuable time. And need to schedule someone legit to come out and help. Someone late who does not offer an apology does not return a call, does not bother to clean up his mess, and wastes your time (and money) is not worthy of your business or consideration. Meanwhile, there are a couple of legit computer experts with professional approaches to helping others and earning their fees. Alex P. from SpringGeek is not one of those people. Call Compu10 or Techno Guy Computer. Anyone but Alex and SpringsGeek. Or even buy a new computer, because it is gotta be better than waiting for Alex to no-show! Nothing has changed since the previous poor reviews. They'll tell you all the right things and do…read morenone of them. What communication there is will not be accurate. If they have difficultly fixing the item, they just put it on a shelf and wait for the customer to come in and complain. Then they'll offer a new promise, which also will not come to fruition. I don't know how they stay in business. My recommendation is to avoid J's Electronic Repair and find a reputable repair shop.
