They didn't finish the outer walls, didnt use a gfi outlet for the bathroom outlet, never scheduled the final inspection, and left 2 piles of trash, (1 inside, 1 outside). Communication was horrible, often weeks at a time without it, and the project manager Dan still won't return messages about finishing the project!!!! Run, don't walk, away from this company!!!!

THEY DELETED IT and blocked me after asking if they had even done a job for me.*** I liked nothing about these incompetent installers and egotistical supervisor. Dishonest. Unprofessional. Hostile. Chauvinist. Incompetent. Thieves. 7.25 hours late. Supervisor refused site visit when there was a problem. No permits. Left live wires hanging dangerously. Buried electrical wires in wall, inaccessible. Installed cabinet over open drain pipe, also inaccessible. Damaged 15/15 cabinets plus walls, ceiling, floor, appliance, and left a mess of debris causing a punctured tire. Hired for kitchen cabinet installation. They measured three separate times and still made errors in install. The installers damaged EVERY cabinet with chips, uneven hardware, or installation. They cut holes in cabinets, they broke cabinets, and they installed cabinets over open plumbing, making it inaccessible. They violated building codes by burying wires in a wall and installed cabinets in front of it, making it inaccessible. They cut wires and left them LIVE dangling in a home with a small child and did not make this known to us. Most cabinets were installed on level line but one was an inch below the level line, making it impossible for countertops to be installed. The supervisor ARGUED with me when I pointed out the cabinets were the wrong height, they ARGUE and dismissed my concerns with a wave of the hand over the space for the dishwasher being too narrow, telling me it was "close enough" to the design plan. They failed to install crown molding as detailed in plan so the two sides of the kitchen do not match. They made holes in the drywall and ceiling. They ripped the flooring and broke the dishwasher pulling it out to prove a point that the smaller space would be "good enough." They STOLE building materials, they stole my range hood, and they stole a sink with faucet. They left debris and screws all over the property later resulting in a flat tire. The supervisor Mazim was hostile, chauvinistic, threatening, and REFUSED to do a site visit when major concerns came up. He said "My day is done." Of course, because the Installers showed up 7.25 hours late and it was after dinner. The installers refused to fix their mistakes when repeatedly asked so as not to breach the contract. The supervisor Mazim called me "too picky" and told me this would "look terrible" but he was too busy to do anything more at my property. The supervisor Mazim repeatedly tried to undercut and take business away from Lowe's on the countertop and backsplash part of this renovation. Installers Junior and Adilson are completely incompetent and do not follow written plans even with verbal reminders and holding the plans in front of the supervisor since he refused to hold them. Towards the end of last year, I had several companies come out and quote for a full roof…read morereplacement. Golden Group gave me the best feeling about the job from the initial discussion. Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout. A couple of weeks in and we've had snow, rain and strong winds. Everything is still perfect. I can highly recommend Mikel and Jurgan from Golden Group, Hudson.

My condo association needed to make some long overdue replacements of the stairwell windows and…read moreframes in our four story building. The frames dated back to the 1910s and needed to go. Bruin came recommended highly to me by a friend of mine. We received multiple quotes for the job and Bruin's was by far the best for a set of new double hung Harvey windows. Bill was great in coming out for the measurements and getting us the quote. It was simple to secure the job as we could make the deposit by credit card. Bruin's office stayed in touch to let us know of the timeframe for the job. Their crew showed up on time on the scheduled day and finished even faster than we assumed. They also cleaned up nicely. A great job all-around and I'd definitely recommend them for window replacements and use them again myself.

These people cannot even keep an appointment…read more Twice they failed to show up -- no call, no courtesy, no explanation. When I called to ask why no one arrived, the response I received was dismissive, as if my call were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate question. I'm actually glad they never showed. If a company can't manage a simple appointment, how could they possibly handle a major project worth tens of thousands of dollars, on schedule and with professionalism? This experience told me everything I needed to know. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
