My grandparents and I had a 12 hour drive and were hungry. This place was rated higher than the Applebees so we thought why not give it a try. Immediately upon walking in we're graced by the presence of our waitress Chloe who took us to our table. I ordered the Bisquit platter and it comes with gravy right? (yes it does) Once the food is touched down I notice there is no gravy, not only that but my grandma's sour dough toast did not arrive with her eggs and bacon; only upon asking twice we received the gravy and toast. Chloe decides to comment whilst putting down the gravy and toast: "ya by the way it doesn't come with gravy" and I tilt my head and go mm yea it does. Bob Evans is pretty reliable when it comes to reasonably priced quality food. This location has been a family favorite for years. We went in and was seated fairly quickly. Our waitress took our order and went back to the kitchen. We all had breakfast during this visit. I had the Double Meat Farmers breakfast. This was a generous helping of bacon, sausage, and a slice of ham. Served with two eggs cooked to my liking, hash browns ans french toast. The food was delicious, the bacon was crispy and had great flavor. The French toast was soft and had great flavor. Overall, a solid place for great breakfast. read more

Ate here about 8pm last night- they were surprisingly pretty busy- our waitress was getting sat back to back but she handled it like a champ- apologized several times for slight delays which really weren't much at all. Hubby had sunrise burger- said it was ok, burger little dry. I had country fried steak and it was yummy. Banana bread was good. Biscuits weren't fresh but it was 8pm so I'm sure that's why. Placed a to-go order online while staying at the hotel next door. When we picked up our order we told them something didn't seem right. It they insisted it was. Got back to the room and sure enough, our two year olds food was missing, which made for a hangry toddler. We walked back and hit the missing order. Stopped by for a bite to eat on our way back from S.C. Our waiters Jeremy and Madeline were so nice and attentive to our needs. They were so engaging in our conversation. Ordered steak and eggs which was excellent. ( better than a steak house) and the pecan salad was PERFECT! The coffee was so tasty and they offered to give us coffee to go. They sat us by a window so we could keep an eye out for our big dog in our car. We kept the car running to keep Ollie our dog, comfortable. This Bob Evans was so clean and country Fresh. A blackened fish NO NO! Traveling back from Ohio we were deterred due to a traffic accident. We stopped at Bob Evans for dinner. I rated them a two because the service from Sierra was excellent but the dish I ordered was a waste of time and money. Please explain to me how blacken fish can have NO taste? No season at all and the peppers on top added nothing to the taste. My wife had the turkey dinner, she said it was ok, my son had the fried chicken, he didn't finish it. Let me say as a positive the yeast rolls were great and service was fast. My meal left me wanting something else. :-( read more

Dude! My oh my! This place here.. Shooooooey! Boy was it good. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and my waitress was fast at refilling it when I needed refilled. My meal was a Belgian Waffle Breakfast and I also ordered chicken strips along with it because I wanted to have "chicken and waffles". Anyways, my waitress even gave me sides with my chicken, which I ordered fries and mac and cheese. The price was not expensive for what I ordered and The waitress was nice and sweet. This is a restaurant that I use to eat at quite a lot when I lived in the area, and was for the most part a great place to eat, but my recent visit here was a disaster and it will be a long time if ever that I return. It all began when we were seated at a table that felt like it had been doused with a water hose, we were given no silverware and waited for more than 10 mins for a server, even though there were only two other tables she had to take care of. We then had to wait for her to come back to take our order twice because she went to tables that were seated after us. From then on I had to keep asking for everything from silverware to coffee and refills on the other drinks at out table of 5 which included two small children. The coffee was old and tepid, the rolls were soggy, and we had to wait over 3o mins for our food. When it came I was served someone else's order and had to send it back. I had to repeatedly ask for syrup for the pancakes and refills on drinks, not to mention those who were seated before us revived their food a good 5 minutes before our table. This restaurant has gone down hill in its food prep because my omelet was also wet and soggy and tepid when I received it. Ya know, I don't usually take time to write reviews especially one as graphic as this but considering the experience I just had a review is in order. We were greeted by a very sloppy looking woman with stains all over her clothes that set the tone from there. We were seated and our waitress did introduce herself in a timely manner however nothing about her from there forward was timely. As we were setting waiting the long 10 minutes it took for our drinks the manager decides to come over to the table beside us and ask if they were okay all the while eyeing us knowing we were there without drinks. Which was really cool. My husband ordered steak and fries, I the pot pie. After waiting for 30 minutes and seeing my husbands food in the window just baking down to jerky we hear them yell they're out of pot pie, another win. A little discount for our military is only a small guesture on the part of big businesses that they could do. It shows pride and appreciation for the bravery of those who fight so hard for our great Country. You, Bob Evans, should correct this problem so your managers can give the discounts.
