I haven't been to a Bob Evans in like a decade. Usually get breakfast, but I'm there late morning, so I decided to order lunch, although the menu states they serve breakfast all day. I remembered getting a pot roast sandwich once that I thought was pretty good. They still had it on the menu, but was listed as over 1000 calories. Since I was going to have a big dinner later on, I went with their friend chicken breast. It was part of their Dinner Bell Plates menu. The chicken was 8.49 and included mashed potatoes/gravy. I substituted brocolli for the corn. The restaurant patrons were all middle aged to seniors. No young patrons to be seen during this lunch hour. I figured that odd since this place in located in a very busy retail district. But there are many other dining options. Although the restaurant was busy, there were a few empty tables, so seating was no problem. Service was great. My server seemed to have a section with about 15 tables, but she kept up with them and was extremely pleasant. Food arrived after about 15 minutes. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone. I will certainly return if the opportunity presents itself again.

Quick to seat us at peak times around here (6pm on a saturday). Normal waits are around 30-40 minutes at this time at other restaurants in the area. So if you're looking to get at a table quickly, this is probably your best bet. The service however was slow. They didn't seem to have much of a hurry to get things done. Even a table sat without being bussed pretty much the whole time we were eating. Our waitress seemed like the only one trying to have some hustle. Otherwise being preoccupied, she was pretty impressive. The 3 course dinners are nice. It's a good reason not to get their breakfast items. I had the wildfire chicken and didn't really care for it though. They bill it as a marinated chicken breast, but it's a grilled chicken breast with a BBQ sauce on it. Potato soup was very good. The rolls were good. The house salad wasn't particularly impressive, but house salads aren't usually.

Overall this was a good experience. We arrived with the church rush, had about a 15 minute wait. The server was nice although did forget the toast on a order. The food was ok. Nothing to special. Fair for the price though. I can see myself coming here again.

Beautiful breakfast with my wonderful girlfriend!!! Superb restaurant!

Everyone was incredibly friendly, offered great recommendations, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The vibe is a 10/10. Whether you want to sit on the patio, inside, or at the unique breakfast bar, there's a spot for everyone. I wish I had taken pictures because every dish that came to our table looked incredible. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and hash browns, and it was grilled to perfection, packed with flavor, and served piping hot. We also shared a waffle with blueberry topping, and it was easily one of the best waffles I've had in a long time. The prices were fair and right in line with other breakfast spots in the area, especially considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and stop in. I have a feeling you'll be just as impressed as we were.

Came here for brunch and overall... it was okay. Not bad, not amazing - just somewhere in the…read moremiddle. Our waitress was super kind and attentive, which honestly carried a lot of the experience. And I have to start with the highlight - the chai pistachio latte. Phenomenal. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet, the pistachio flavor hit, and easily my favorite part of the meal (also just aesthetic). Food-wise, it was a mix. I got the Gouda Breakfast Burger and I loved it - juicy, cheesy, stacked, and exactly what I needed (pregnant me was very happy ). I'd honestly come back just for that. My boyfriend got the Kickin Chicken Benedict, and while the jalapeño hollandaise had a really nice kick, the poached eggs were more "gel" than runny... which is a little disappointing for a brunch spot since that's kind of the main event. Other than that, my boyfriend said it was alright. We also did ask for extra crispy hashbrowns and... they definitely did not understand the assignment. More soft than crispy, which was a letdown too. We also tried the Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast - good, but not super memorable. For two people, our total was over $80 (three entrees, two lattes, a coffee, and an orange juice), which felt a little high for the overall experience - but not unreasonable if everything hit a bit stronger. Overall, this place has some strong highlights (drinks, burger, and service), just needs a little more consistency across the board to really stand out.
