Simple order: half roasted chicken, onion rings, and potato salad. Chicken was straight inedible (and I've choked down a lot of bad chow in 50+ years): rubbery like all get out (meaning over cooked). Total fail. Onion rings were well overcooked and unduly crispy. To not want onion rings is a you problem, but I couldn't forge ahead. Talk about a crap night. My dogs didn't complain, but not sure what that counts toward. This was a $25 take out order ... I guess a fair price to pay to never head back there? I hate writing a place off, but yowza. I ordered the barbacoa quesadilla and paid the extra dollar to get the cheese crust. Hubby went for the carne asada which was a $4 upcharge, but did not go for the cheese crust. Both quesadillas were good, but his was definitely on the soggy side. $48 dollars for two quesadillas and queso with chips and NO drinks. We found it a little pricey for food truck fare, but most places down here are tourist prices. The food was good and I really like the verde salsa which was on the sweet side, but still good. The white queso was pretty bland, but overall it was a good quick meal.
